There was an issue of no heat on 1 St day/ night. That was nicely resolved on day 2

We did not get breakfast with our stay
The one thing that i did not like was the fact that the heater did not work, They had a small portable heater that we did plug in for heat but it was not really adiquate for the room, besides those small heaters in my opinon are very dangerous, so when we left the room we unpluged the unit

Location
I liked it all

The view
The 54 steps
Lack of AC
Lack of basics like coffee at the bottom of those 54 steps
NO light weight blanket for the bed!
Carpet was nasty
Freezer needed defrosting
Lack of upkeep along the 54 stairs, it was gross!
The railing around the deck of the cottage was in need of repair
Considering the rental fee, maybe they need to perform some upkeep on the cabin!!

The space was nice. Nice kitchenette, lovely deck hanging out over the bay. Large enough space, lovelysunsets over the bay. Furniture was old but comfortable.
As sseniors, the stairs were a challenge but were given info to anticipate it. Just planned time there so we wouldn't have to navigate them too often. With that said, we were in the cottage early. TV was very limited. A streaming site like Netflix would have been helpful. Actually brought some DVD's but there was no player. When you nplan to spend time in the evening in the cottage, better entertainment options ould be helpful. But overall it wa a great spot for the cost.

The weather was for this time of the year, excellent. The cottage was in a perfect place to enjoy the weather and the view on the front patio. We are looking forward to return here if we have a chance.
This is not a bad review, and I don’t want to be to picky. Few thinks where for me not how it should but I can tell…Me and my wife had very enjoyed staying there.

The location was wonderful. You could sit and watch the birds, boats and surrounding scenery.
The only problem was the temperature was not controlled through the thermostat. The gas wood-burning type heat was only controlled through an on/off switch on the heater itself.

The location right on the water is great! Love the sounds, sights, smells of the bay. Love really experiencing the changing height of the tides. Love all the light from all the windows. We've stayed here many times. And certainly will again!
The microwave had hard cooked food splattered about inside. There were no batteries in the "emergency" lantern or any flashlights. The entire lower half of the steep stairway was unlit - lights all out - scary and unsafe for nighttime use. The thermostat was not connected to the gas fireplace and did not work. One window was nearly coming out of its interior frame, (the single left hand window at the foot of the bed) The ivy surrounding the stairway has overgrown the stairs themselves in many places creating a severe tripping risk. The banisters are poorly kept up and create multiple splinters.

Good location. Loved being right on the water. Close to many nice beaches. The bed was super comfy. The cottage was very clean.
Hard to access due to the 50+ narrow stairs. No privacy cover on the back door which is glass.

Beautiful location, spacious room, very private and peaceful.
Shower hot water very short

The location is interesting as it is right on Bodega Bay. It has a skinny balcony with no furniture but one can stand and watch birds from the balcony. Although it is on highway 1, it is 50 steps down so you don’t hear the highway noise. There is a comfortable sofa and you can look out the door and see the bay. The location is good for restaurants and a nice market. Bed was fine.
The lack of seating on the balcony was disappointing. Also, they claimed there was WiFi but there wasn’t and when we called Vacasa said it was spotty but we tried the password over and over and we always got the message Wrong password but Vacasa said it was the right password. They said they would get someone to fix it but never did. They said there could be compensation but that didn’t happen either. Altogether I think the one room cottage without a real kitchen at $350 per night was over-priced.

The view is great and the gas fireplace heater is cozy when the weather is cold, as it is most of the time on the coast. The bed is very comfortable.
Only problem was the wifi instructions did not work. I used the router name and password instead, which worked fine. Locking the door facing the water took some muscle. The bathroom drain was slow.

The view was amazing. Very cute, clean and quaint cabin.
There are 54 step down to the cabin. Hard with luggage. You don't learn this until after you book! The picture makes it seem like maybe 5 from where you park your car. Thankfully my back was cooperating with me on this trip. Also you think what a great deal but then at check out a huge cleaning fee is added of over $200.00. The TV would not work at all. Seems to be an ongoing issue per reviews. Radio was pure static. No one available nearby to help. Started calling on 1st night. Called 3xs to help desk to Vacasa, some seemed to want to help, others didn't even make note of original call. They offered to come try & fix this ongoing problem the day we left. We did get a $57.00 refund for inconvenience. Final thought.. coffee for coffee pot would have been appreciated...

The apartment is adorable. Very spacious for a one room plus bathroom property. The shower is amazing. Great outdoor table for dining.
The cable wasn't working so no TV.
The dish drainer did not function properly and a wine glass fell and broke.

Nice relaxing location, I’m a 25 year old healthy male and these stairs are not joke. Besides that it’s a perfect location.
