A hot mess!

Location.

Well the room had a smell. I wasn’t sure what it was but when I saw the dead cockroach on the floor I assumed it was the insecticide they must have sprayed before we got here. When we pulled the comforter back the sheets looked used and had brown stains on it. See pictures!!! My wife asked me to smell them because she thought it was feces. I said no thank you!!! We called the front desk and next thing you know we had a knock on the door. The young lady at the front desk brought us new sheets and handed them to us. I guess we are responsible to change the sheets ourselves! My wife said to her that she wasn’t going to change them and asked who was going to change them. The lady said, “I guess me since I’m the only one here”. I decided to help her change them but she brought queen sheets and we needed king sheets. She left then returned with king sheets. She said she got them out of the dryer, but I feel pretty confident they were dirty sheets, just not stained sheets like were on the bed. lol! I mean really I can’t make this stuff up!!! The best part was on her way out she reached down to pick up the dead cockroach and it moved. She screamed and threw it across the room! I started laughing….my wife….not so much!!!!

Everything was pretty good, except breakfast. They had pulled pork with bread sticks instead of eggs and biscuits and gravy. Just a weird unexpected combination

Great location, wonderful room, yummy breakfast, spectacular employees.

The large spacious room. It was fairly quiet, had a few noises of children in hallway, but that can happen anywhere you stay.

Found that the pool was closed after checking in. The booking site said check-in was at 3pm but, the hotel has it as 4pm. The staff did do their best and got us booked in around 2:30. Very satisfied with their consideration.

Breakfast. Horrible! I spend about $250 and the breakfast offered was low class. Cold, not fresh, not good at all.

Room was comfortable but disappointed in unexpected parking fee.

Elevators were not in a central location. We we’re not directed to their location and it took us awhile to find them when checking in. The handle bar at the steps of the pool was broken posing a safety risk. Did not like the fact that we were charged a parking fee as an incidental. We we’re not informed that a parking fee would be charged. As much as the room cost, free parking should be included.

Large rooms, comfortable stay, great breakfast.

The room was nice and the room size was nice. I breakfast was great.

The parking lot and road to get in had massive potholes. I got charged for parking at the hotel which is stupid! I had no idea I would be charged for that. It wasn't a lot of money but I still think it is dumb to charge for parking. And the bathroom door wouldn't stay open. It had to be propped open to keep it open. Not a huge deal but I didn't love it when my kids were taking baths.

I did not get what I expected for the price I paid. Very expensive and not impressed whatsoever.

Loved the location..bed was huge, shower was clean and big. Loved we had a full fridge. Also loved the ceiling fan.

We had a family above us, with I'm assuming small kidos. Running around. Wished we could of gotten top floor. The tables for breakfast are a little wobbly so becareful with drinks. Also it's only CC or Charge to room.

No Kleenex in the room. Was not informed where elevator was during check-in. Was confusing since it's farther away from the front desk than I've seen before.

Staff was friendly and for the most part the facility was clean.

Went down for breakfast at 8:00 and they were out of food. We’re supposed to serve until 9:30. Said it would be 15 minutes to make more. We were in a time crunch so this was very inconvenient. Not a lot of people either, so don’t know why they ran out of food.

Overall it was a wonderful location and the room was much bigger than I expected!

The ladies at the front desk were very kind and helpful!

The cleaning staff missed some things. Like clothes from the previous guests and little touches that make a big difference..for example there was a mostly empty roll of toilet paper left on the roll.

The room and beds were great. I got the first room on the first floor which meant i heard everything from everone else on the floor. The hotel store had a good slection, but $18 for a pint of vanilla ice cream was rather over priced

Hotel store prices were stupid, noise was a big issue, the breakfast was lackluster and flavorless
