Loved everything about it

Everything! The location was very cool and tucked away on a ranch style property. Check in was easy, the host was very nice and reached out to me personally after check in, and breakfast was homemade and delicious.
Nothing!

the friendly cat, the night sky and tiny house room better than expected
We never saw anyone who worked there and the coffee situation was confusing

Breakfast was good.
Put us in a hole in the wall casita full of flies and fall apart

Beautiful location and views! The owner, Joette, can tell you where to see rock art on the cliffs behind the inn.

Archeological site on the premesis.
The hostes was amazing and very attentive.
Homemade granola and yogurt...
Couldn't control the Air conditioner properly, hence got cold at night...

The Slot Canyons Inn strikes an excellent balance of feeling like an inn while also feeling like a home. Joette was incredibly friendly and was always happy to tell us about the history of the inn and the site (seriously, ask her about it, it goes back way further than the inn itself), and Candy makes an excellent breakfast. There is also an incredibly friendly cat on the ranch who will demand to be petted at every opportunity. The land the inn sits on is gorgeous and worth taking a stroll on during down time. At least make time to go see the petroglyphs. It’s an excellent place to stay if you’re going exploring in Grand Staircase, and it’s also excellent for relaxing in the inn all day.
Many flies in summer, though fortunately they mostly swarmed around the car and didn’t come inside. The aforementioned cat snuck into the trunk while we were loading the van and we nearly drove off with a new pet cat by mistake.

Quiet B&B in a lovely area of Escalante. Bryce Canyon NP is about an hour away, but if you head the other way you have scenic highway 12, Burr Trail road (highly recommend), Devils Backbone brigde - so much more to see here than Bryce.
Room was a proper size, and it was pretty quiet (nice experience compared to all faceless Hiltons and Marriotts). Good quality bath amenities, jaccuzzi in the room, separate shower. Rural neighbourhood, you feel like in the Little House on the Prairie. And there's cows and super friendly dog that wants to play with you.
It was so nice that - it was my birthday that day - I decided to stay for the 3rd day...
... and it turned out to be a mistake. My originally booked room wouldn't be available so I was offered a different, bigger room (I was alone, mind you, so that wasn't a factor) - and (verbally) promised that "I'm going to give you the same rate as you had" by the morning-shift/breakfast lady. Which was lovely, I thought of it as a birthday gift -- I had a really good daily rate ("Genius level 3" here). Unfortunately, that's not what happened. I was charged ongoing daily rate for that room, which was almost 70$ more per night.
See, if I knew the rate would be so much higher - maybe I'd still stay, maybe I'd find something else in town (there's a Prospector Inn with a daily rate of 87$, good for one-nighter). That's not the case. The case is really - I feel cheated. I was even thinking "should I apply for a chargeback with my bank", but decided it not worth the hassle.
It's a good place - but only, only, only book via booking.com, and don't ask for stay extensions. You'll be sorely hurt and your experience will be tarnished.

Beautiful facility. Breakfast was great.
Since we were not greeted in person (key to room left at desk), could not find ice. Also some sandburs were in the rug that we stepped on while barefooted.
4.5
Beautiful facility. Wonderful host. Just a great experience.
There were very few restaurants in town to choose from. I know that the owner is building their own restaurant and that will really improve the overall experience.

Such a wonderful experience of staying in a cozy B&B in remote Utah mountains. Hostesses are lovely, breakfast was delicious and healthy, ranch is beautiful…wish to stay longer!
It took me a while to find the right entrance.

This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay if you’re visiting Escalante or driving between Zion or Bryce and Moab/capital Reef. This was my second stay, and it was just as good as the first. Beautiful property/view with cows, horses and wild turkeys in the fields. The breakfast are excellent and the owners extremely nice. I plan to come back every time I’m in Southern Utah!

Rustic accommodations and rural setting.
Directions to the facility could have been clearer.

The setting was exquisite. The breakfasts were tasty, not too fancy but quite good. The room had everything we needed and the suite was quite spacious. We appreciated having a kitchen sink, microwave and refrigerator. We would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast, setting and staff preparing/serving breakfast were all excellent. Food was fresh, homemade and delicious. Staff were friendly and very welcoming.
Bed was a little too soft for my taste and room although very nice, could use a little freshening up, such as new carpets, etc. Online booking service was a little confusing; not totally clear regarding the final price. It wasn’t clear to me that taxes were not included. But owner was very pleasant to deal with and very accommodating.

This was a great stay, our room, common areas, grounds, staff and location were all excellent. This will be my go to place to stay for all of my future trips back to Escalante.
Seriously, cannot think of anything that would have improved our stay.

There were cobwebs above bed and it needed more pillows or bigger ones.
