Marta was a great host. Great communication! Apartment is well located and equipped with everything you need.

Very clean and has a balcony with a great view! Comfortable living space with a lot of space
The stairs lol it’s on the top floor so you do have to do a little bit of walking but other than that it’s everything was great about this place

Location
I'm not a fan of writing negative reviews but unfortunately I have no choice for this one as so many things didn't meet our expectations:
- The unjustified hefty £500 deposit which wasn't mentioned anywhere (that I could see) and was requested once the night stay was already paid, so not giving us the chance to then book somewhere else. I've stayed in five stars hotels before and never have been asked for such a hefty deposit, the apartment was nice, but absolutely not worth the £500 deposit which is why we didn't use the kitchen and tried to minimise usage of facilities to avoid losing the deposit.
- The six flights of stairs!
- Really noisy
- The biggest pain point for us was the key collection, I understand that misunderstandings happen, but we kept on being lied to. We had to confirm multiple times our arrival time, we were asked to notify the agency 30 minutes before to allow time for the person to travel and come and meet us which we did and ended up waiting one hour for someone to turn up. Whenever we called the number we kept being told "she's one minute away" to "she's ten minutes away" to "she's had an emergency she's on her way" to "your check in time was 6pm on the portal" after having receiving acknowledgment that 4pm was agreed and confirmed multiple times. When the person with the keys finally showed up she also reiterated that there was a 6pm check in requested which again wasn't true, I have screenshots of conversations where 4pm was agreed. She was also in no emergency as she told us she just got notified that we were waiting. I understand that getting the check in time wrong happens it's just being told different things and being treated like idiots that was really frustrating and unacceptable. We could only live chat or chat via whatsapp and the only phone call we could actually use to speak with someone was the person that kept lying to us.

Shower wasn’t too hot or powerful,tv lacked channels due too no internet connection.

The location was excellent, close to lots of restaurants, pubs, shops, good coffee, great transport links.
The terrace is quite nice.
The bathroom was good.
The view is great.
The decoration of the flat does not match the pictures - everything was pretty bare, particularly the terrace furniture.
Some of the cabinets are too difficult to open as they are clearly not designed not to have handles.
Water pressure could have been better as well as the temperature of the water.
Towels were clean but a little too worn.

Great location but the flat was a bit tired looking. The balcony was really nice for late afternoon and evening sun and the nightscape views were really nice.
No smart tv available, bathroom door had no lock, no lift and the 6 flights of stairs became a pain in the end.

There is no drop box or self service for checkin. You are required to notify what time you are expecting to be there, but cannot deviate from this as they require someone to hand the keys over. This was a large room with all of the amenities you need (except working WIFI).
The apartment is starting to look a bit tired. Half of the window blinds are broken and dont open meaning the apt is actually quite dark, the sofa is quite tired and has been well used. The old floors are full of cracks. Parts to the kitchen like the dish washer door were starting to come off. The Wifi did not work at all. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows are very thin and not great. There was a tile under the TV that would fall when the vibrations from the shower started. Although a spacious apt, the apt felt a bit dark with half the blinds inoperable.

All the instructions and communication by the staff on the phone was excellent and created a sense of confidence that it would be the perfect holiday accomodation in London.
Apartment was spacious. Location was fabulous with great resturaunts just a stones throw away. Shops for the basics were also really close. Getting to the nearby Old Street Tube was an easy walk.
Staff member simply walked past us at the meeting point and left us waiting 20 minutes before we instigated contact.
Like a box of chocolates. You don-t know what y'all goin to get until you open it up!
The climb up the stairs to the top floor was a tad inconvenient when hauling suitcases (no lift) and not a welcoming sight after trekking about London on foot.
The temperamental lock on front door causes a little bit of anxiety when the key doesn't engage the tumblers and it takes a bit of jiggling to open.(reported by past tenants)
The enticing views from the apartment shown in advert were blocked because of broken blinds (also reported by past tenants). We didn't use stove top because of risk of further damaging the blind and potential threat of not getting full £500 deposit refunded.
A double bed was dissappointing for the upmarket price.

this is by far the noisiest Aparment I have ever stayed in .
you really need to sort your windows out they do not shut properly and let so much noise threw . we struggled to sleep .

Amazing view, very clean and great value for money! The kitchen is greatly equipped! The shower is really big and the location is great :)
Some blinds couldn‘t be put up unfortunately and the light switches didn‘t always work the first time.

Location ...space. design, and it was so easy to deal with rgr booking team
The front door key and / or lock needs urgent attention as I was unable to gain access when I returned (super late) and had to wake neighbours to open latch ... this was very embarrassing

Excellent location, great balcony with good views. Apartment itself was spacious and very comfortable. The hosts are excellent communicators too!
While the apartment is very clean, they might want to consider re-tiling the floors to give it a more modern/cleaner look. The bathroom door also should be changed as it doesn't close perfectly or lock properly. Not necessarily a problem, but to note that this is a walk-up with no lift, so get ready to get your cardio on ;)

First time visit to the UK. Our first stay was cancelled and I had to come up with something on short notice. We were worried the location might be too far from all the sights, but it worked out great. We like to walk and walked to Big Ben and back the first day. Tube stations and buses all close by. The apartment is in Shoreditch, a creative hub with colourful street art, hip pubs and cafes, edgy galleries and popular nightclubs....ok, my wife and I are in our 60s and were a little worried we would't fit in but the area was very inviting and relaxed.
We visited in mid September and the temps were in the upper 60s the whole time. We opened the windows at night (apartment lists AC but I couldn't find one?) and it was surprisingly noisy throughout the night. We kept the bedroom windows closed after that, but it might be too hot in warmer weather.

The Hoxton Penthouse was perfect for our tirp, located quite central (at "old street" tube station).
We enjoyed the view over the city, the sundown was amazing!
The apartment has seen better times and could use some renovation but in the whole this was not much of a problem for us.

Great location even though it is not actually on the Square and does not have a view of Hoxton Square.
THERE IS NO LIFT, and there is no intercom, so if you have a visitor or Deliveroo, that's right, you are shlepping down and up 6 floors.
The bathroom is a mess and has been a disaster for a long time if the downstairs neighbours are to be believed when they came banging on the door the first time we tried to use the shower because every time the shower is turned on, water comes through their ceiling. When I brought this to the company's attention I was told that I should just use the bathtub...
On the second day another banging on the door, this time from a pest control company that told us that we were not supposed to be home as they were supposed to escalate their ongoing war with the building's robust rat population...
The wiring in the flat is bizzare and likely done by an amateur as all lights run into one panel by the front door (yes, bath, bed, living room kitchen) with dimmer switches that do not dim.
while the above were annoying, what is the worst is that the company turned incommunicado the minute we brought up these issues, but what do you expect from people that would rent out a unit knowing very well that it does not have a fully functional bathroom.

Terrace and balcony kitchen
staff where rude , checking in was a nightmare we where waiting in the cold for 45min and the apartment wasn’t ready at even at 1500 check in time , apartment wasn’t clean needed to wait. staff ignored my phone calls , I had to call from another number for them to pick up. and when you pre pay for the stay they still ask you to pay £500 deposit which is not mentioned anywhere on booking

Top service from carolina and florian, very welcoming and always helpful. Top location in the middle of shoreditch, rich nightlife and a lot too see in the area around.
Due to the location not the most quiet place at night, but ear plugs and mask are provided by the team.

the kitchen. the washing machine. it was clean.
where to start. I was very disappointed. I think if this had been half the price instead of over £200 a night it would have been ok. but for the asking price the quality was not at all there and I felt ripped off if I'm honest. On arriving in the flat the whole place stank of bleach. And the windows don't open much so airing the place was a hassle. The bath mat was horrible and old, I see that's mentioned in other reviews 6 months ago! you'd think they'd get a new one by now. The shower drain was blocked and fills up when you shower. the bathroom door doesn't close easily. the toilet flush handle lets out a horrible earpiercing screech. the windows are very thin. you hear everything from outside and on the thurs-sun nights you're going to need earplugs. which they do provide. but how about just upgrading those terrible windows? the entire floor of the apartment is horrible large old tiles. the furniture in the Lounge is old and I wouldn't want to sleep on the sofa. the kitchen and washing machine seemed new that was the only saving grace. The entrace and stairway up to the flat are old and musty not the kind of place you could impress a date with! even if you can see a bit of the skyline from the flat. They provide a washing machine and iron but no clothes stand to dry clothes or ironing board! I checked all the cupboards! I had to go and buy a clothes drying stand! The lighting in the whole flat is really weird and not done properly. weird knobs you press near the entrance instead of in the rooms. And they look like dimmers but non dimmable bulbs have been fitted so they flash weirdly! the bedroom doesn't have a ceiling light there is a couple of floor standing lamps. They really need to properly renovate the place and provide higher quality furnishings to justify their high asking price. no way I'd stay here again. not recommended!
