What i liked about our stay was that the hotel made a very great gesture of making us a mini surprise for our 5th year anniversary. We were surprised as not many places does that.
For the price, and the hotel and the breakfast included with it, it was worth it eventhough the place was a bit worn down and has some mold and dirt around, i wouldn't expect much considering the price but it would be great if you could fix and remove the mold around in the toilet.
Breakfast selection was amazing, though i didn't get the chance to enjoy everything.
I personally love the building as it gives me a vibe of anhotel in my country with the fraction of the price. It fits the hotel aesthetic that i love.
The location was okay if its just adults, but having to use a stroller for a long sweaty walk is a bit tiresome, but there’s always Grab.
The only thing i would complain for our sleep would be that we could hear noises from our neighbours or downstairs, but i think that was unavoidable.
Would like the toilet to be not moldy, and room less dusty.

I took a birthday trip for myself and stayed in a club room, which was quite spacious for a single person. The lighting in the room was a bit moody, but overall, it wasn't bad. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the tea service in the room. However, the view was somewhat disappointing as it faced another hotel building.
I really enjoyed the Royal Club lounge. It was comfortable and offered privacy. The staff there were friendly, and the food was quite nice too.
However, there were some downsides too. The room was tidied up a bit too early. I hadn't turned on the 'make up room' light because I planned to nap after breakfast. When I returned, the housekeeping had already tidied up my room but hadn't provided new bathrobes.
Another issue occurred when I was heading to the Pavilion mall to attend a friend's party. A receptionist mentioned a shortcut that supposedly took only 2 minutes to reach the Pavilion. However, he failed to mention it involved crossing a crowded road. This was inconvenient since I was in high heels and accompanied by senior citizens. Consequently, we had to take a longer, 10-minute route.
After the party, as we were walking back to the hotel, it started raining heavily. The four of us had only one umbrella, so we were completely drenched by the time we reached my room. Concerned for my friend's parents, who were soaking wet and faced a 30-minute drive home, I decided to call the reception to request new towels so they could at least have a shower before leaving. However, the receptionist didn't seem to understand and transferred me to the service line, who then asked me to call reception again. After three calls, I finally received the towels, but the housekeeping staff commented that we shouldn't have used the 'do not disturb' light if we wanted new towels.
I was puzzled by this response. I had actually turned on the 'make up room' light after my nap and before leaving for work, but my room was still untidy when I returned at around 3:30 pm. I understand they might not clean the room a second time, but I don't see why I should need to explain this to the staff.
Furthermore, during check-in, the receptionist informed me that I could choose to have breakfast either in the Warisan Cafe or the lounge, with the cafe offering more options. I decided to try the cafe, but it turned out to be a poor choice. It was overcrowded and lacked seating space.

Even though this hotel was more than 15 years, the building was still well kept. Lobby smells so good. Friendly staff. And good breakfast buffet

The room size was huge and the bathroom was lovely. I liked the pool too and the breakfast was good.
Unfortunately I was woken up at 8am on Sunday morning by very loud music coming from a wedding downstairs. Why anyone gets married at 8am on a Sunday morning to blaring music is beyond me. I complained twice but nothing happened. When I went downstairs to breakfast the wedding was taking place and the noise was truly awful. If an event such as this has such an effect on guests and involves a huge amount of noise I would expect management to have notified guests prior to this, to give them the opportunity to proceed with the booking. No notice nor apology was conveyed to me.

Upon walking in, it seemed nice. However, both rooms we got were not clean. It's ok for rooms to be dated as long as they are clean but the showers were mouldy, one shower had a huge hair clump and was slimy, the bath tub leaked, there was an unusual stain on the bed sheets, the carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years - it looked terrible and smelt bad, the air vents were black with dust. We requested another room and after reception telling us over the phone that there were no other rooms, we went down and they suddenly had one on another floor. This room was no better - actually worse as there was a bed bug crawling over the bed and if there was 1, there were surely more. After this, we decided to leave.
