Disappointing

Half of the rooms don't have the lake view. The staff was speaking NO word English (even if stated on the Booking.com page). No parking available (was also on the page). Unfriendly staff. No toilet paper in the public restrooms. The common room is closed every day for many hours for cleaning. Breakfast is "different", you are not allowed to take your own coffee, and the amount is also limited. The beds are AWFUL, no ladders for the upper beds and the metal construction is hard to climb up. VERY old rooms, mattresses and beds. Mold in the closets for the backpacks,...

Good view, but you can find this view in other hostels nearby.

It has a really nice view

Staff. Especially one of the women at the front desk, she had a very passive aggressive way of talking to guests, she was noticeable annoyed and talks scolding people. If she doesn't like to serve people and solve questions, she should reconsider the job she has.

Good location, nice terrace at the top floor.

The hostel looks completely different than the pictures they've put here on booking.com. Or better said, they were very smartly taken. The structure is very old/decaying and the level of hygiene could be better. No view to the lake from the room, but rather a view to a gray wall. The breakfast is quite basic and limited to a small portion per guest.

good value - probably the cheapest we found for a double room with a private bathroom. Reception staff were friendly.

think this hostel is trying to be a hotel too much. No lactose free breakfast options apart from bread and jam. You can’t use the kitchen during breakfast and after until they have cleaned it until like 11. it was hard to make sandwiches for the day. A safe in the room that was broken. And it says if you want you room cleaned / new towels leave them on them not hung up. We did this and they hung them back up, and didn’t clean the room only made the bed. I think this is all fine but its a in between of a hostel and hotel thinks it’s best to keep as a hostel and not offer this stuff!

Nice and basic hostel in the center

Good location, nice view, friendly woman at the reception, advice about tours

very basic, didnt feel very clean in bathroom. sheets kept coming off bed and charger locatjon above pillow was loose so charger kept falling on head during night. not great value for money

It was an okay stay here

1. Easy to make friends in the room 2. Breakfast was not too bad 3. They make beds everyday 4. Staff are polite

1. squeaky beds 2. they charged me different prices, way more expensive than the price I saw on Booking (5000 pesos more) 3. not having enough chairs in the common area 4. No storage area for the upper bunk bed

Nice breakfast. Great kitchen. Great view from the terrace.

A bit far from the downtown. Dorm room is on the fourth floor and there's no elevator. The locks on the lockers in the room were broken(most of them).

Great place, excellent service for your money

I liked the room, it was nice for the price. The bed and pillows were comfy and it was clean. The rooftop was nice, so were the kitchen and common areas.

The only thing is that you are not able to turn off the heat, but you open the window and the cool breeze from Bariloche refreshes the room

Old fashion hostel. Good for meeting others.

It was a reasonable price and had a nice view. Friendly staff.

It’s in need of an update. The cold water didn’t work in the shower.

Would choose another place

Nice view, good wifi :)

Beds were really bad. I was sleeping in a hole. Everything was in bas condition. Breakfast was okay, nice to have eggs but weird conzept.

The balcony has a great view. Breakfast was good. There's a heater in the room which was nice.

Locker wasn't working. Had to bang the bathroom door to close it properly, which kind of woke everyone up if you needed to go during the night or in the morning. The ceiling in my room was leaking. Fridge is old and dirty. No WiFi for 3 days because of the rain, but when the WiFi came back it was working fine.

Value for money in a good location

Nice communal area and in a really good location to transport and the rest of town Bedding and beds were comfortable

No ladders on top bunks - very dangerous and meant upset guests on bottom bunk if they were asleep. Kitchen had barely any equipment and breakfast was a bit odd, good food but you couldn't serve yourself tea or coffee and had to wait - odd system.

Nice hostel but some improvements needed

Great location very close to the lake and the downtown area of Bariloche. We had a private room which was very spacious and had a great view. Breakfast was also pretty good for a hostel with pancakes and eggs. Price was also reasonable.

The hostel felt a bit dated and could do with some renovation. The toilet flush and light in our bathroom were both broken when we arrived. We reported this to reception who said it would be fixed the next day but it never was. Staff at the hostel were mostly helpful but weren’t very warm and could be a bit curt at times.

Very good

The staff is very accommodating and helpful. They can help with almost everything. The place does offer breakfast. The shower facility was per room 8 beds that's better than walking over several floors for facilities.

I arrived at the hostel only because all hotels were booked up, when I asked for the towel to rent they said they don't rent any, eventually I got one but it would have been a very dirty stay with no shower. The bed is not very stable if you end up in upper bunk.
