About this villa rental
A picturesque and charming finca, Las Rosas is located at the foot of the hills between Puerto Pollenca and the sandy beaches of Cala San Vicente. The main property consists of two double bedrooms, both en-suite. There is a cozy atmosphere attached to the lounge and fitted kitchen, both lead onto a paved terrace that surrounds a large and ornate swimming pool.(15mx6m) The guest house, attached to the main house, comprises a double bedroom, bathroom and lounge all with garden and pool views. As its name suggests, colorful and fragrant flowers adorn the entrance to Las Rosas, and adjacent to the pool and landscaped gardens, maintained and secluded lawns are ideal for children or sunbathers. The sheltered barbeque area always enjoys the evening sun, making it a romantic spot for ‘Al-fresco’ dining. The ‘Mallorcan’ tiled sun deck provides a spectacular setting, overlooking the Mediterranean fruit tress and grape vines that adorn the private grounds. Less than a 10min walk to restaurants.
Mallorca/Pollenca: A 45 minute drive from the airport and Palma in the north of Mallorca lies the delightful municipality of Pollensa and the Port of Pollensa / Puerto Pollensa – a spectacular combination of sandy beaches, turquoise crystalline waters and beautiful countryside against a backdrop of stunning mountain scenery. As more and more people are discovering, Pollensa in Majorca is a delightfully unspoilt haven enticing families and couples to return year after year to this ideal holiday spot.
Puerto Pollenca/Cala San Vicente: The picturesque countryside around Pollensa is a colorful mixture of fertile fruit orchards and lightly wooded glades, bordered by hills to the south and dramatic rocky outcrops of Mallorca's northern mountains. Contained within ten square kilometers, the region stretches along the coast to Alcudia from the golden beaches of Puerto Pollensa and inland to the quaint, historic small town of Pollensa itself. To the north the shores of Puerto Pollensa and Cala San Vicente are fringed with kilometers of golden sand with water sports and ideal sun bathing for the more relaxing holiday. Both Puerto Pollensa and Pollensa offer a good selection of restaurants, ranging from cafes and tapas bars to fine dining. Pollensa, apart from its pretty square has the Via Crucis which is a notable attraction with its long stairway which ascends Calvary Hill, from which there are superb views over the coast. Puerto Pollensa is a pretty, unaffected resort that is a firm favorite with families.
Golf Information: The Pollensa Golf Club is open to non members. The challenging 9 hole courses have been described as some of the most beautiful in the Mediterranean, with a clubhouse, a restaurant which also welcomes non-golfers, a swimming pool, rental of clubs, trolleys and golf cars also available. Tuition can be arranged and there are regular tournaments.

We've just returned from a fantastic week in Majorca and we're so glad we chose to stay in Daniel's villa.
The highlight of our stay was certainly the garden with mountain views and awesome pool - we spent hours swimming and relaxing!
The villa is a great size and fully equipped. It's a little rustic, but this adds to the charm. No air con, but there are multiple fans which helped during our stay (35-37 degrees!) and obviously the pool is a great place to stay cool! The location is great - 7 minute walk to the nearest supermarket, slightly over 15 mins walk to Pollensa Marina. less than 10 mins drive to Pollensa old town, and 20 mins drive to Alcudia old town.
Daniel was very helpful, with great communication throughout.
We would certainly recommend this villa to anyone - it's great value for money particularly given the enormous private pool and gardens and locality to Puerto Pollensa.

This was the best vacation we have ever taken. The house is clean and well appointed - has everything you need. The grounds and pool are stunning and impeccably maintained. The location is private but so close to beaches, markets, town and cycling routes. The views are amazing. The island offers everything from pristine beaches to steep rocky mountains to ancient medieval towns to busy modern ports and cities. Daniel is a wonderful, helpful host. We had a lovely time and can't wait to go back again!

We had a lovely time here. Grandmother, grandfather, daughter and son in law and children 11 and twins 4. The accommodation was lovely, well equipped and very comfortable. The pool was a bit deep for the little ones but we knew that when we booked so we had their flotation vest. We would definitely come again,

We returned to Las Rosas after 15 years, and really enjoyed it once again. We especially liked the pool and garden, along with the quiet location which was only 15 minutes walk from the town. Suggestions about the use of mosquito deterrent appliances should be heeded. The host, Daniel, is very helpful.

Adult family holiday in Las Rosas
Daniel is an excellent host. Good pre holiday information regarding finding the villa and check in process. Good location (20 walk to Pinewalk bars etc).
Beautiful pool, warm in the July heatwave and lovely to cool off in. It’s deep! Beware if you have young children or poor swimmers.
Beautifully maintained and spacious gardens, plenty of garden furniture.
Excellent and varied kitchen equipment.
Many thanks Daniel.

My friends and I visited Mallorca from Madrid and wanted to stay somewhere outside the city. We loved our stay here overall, and the house was a great price for how large and beautiful it was.
The reason I am giving four instead of five stars is due a couple issues. There was some miscommunication with the host regarding a cleaning fee. We were okay with paying the cleaning fee but it was not made clear at the time of booking that there would be one, and this cleaning fee was paid directly to the host rather than through the VRBO site. I would suggest somehow changing this so that the fee is paid through the site at the time of booking and that it is more clear that there is a fee. Secondly, we had issues with the heating at the house in the detached guest house. After some tinkering, we were able to get the heating on, but those of us who were staying in the guest house spent our first night sleeping on the floor of the main house because the guest house was so cold. The second night, the guesthouse was much warmer after our problem-solving.
Despite these issues, I would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a relaxing and beautiful stay in the countryside of Mallorca! Its size made it especially perfect for a group like ourselves. Thank you, Daniel, for having us in your home.

Late October 9 night getaway
Fabulous location, garden and pool. Very pleasant, easy walk down well lit lanes into Puerto Pollensa for evening meals. Stunning mountain views from garden which had total privacy and plenty of seating/ dining areas. Easy private parking outside villa gates. Inside the villa was rustic and rather tired, but authentic.

We spend some days at Las Rosas Finca in April 2021. Everthing was clean, the place is even bigger than it seems at the fotos and it definitely is a perfect place to hang around in the sun! Daniel was a perfect host (although he was in England) and he always made sure that everthing is fine. The communication with him was easy and he responded every question as soon as he could. He also gave us some information about the area and possible trips. Wen we had a little problem with the electricity he organized quickly a person who managed everything. We are trluly considering to go there another time!

The Villa is lovely and traditional and tranquil
The Villa is approximately 20 minute walk from Puerta Pollença, and this gives the surrounding area a peaceful and tranquil settung. The pool was magnificent and the highlight of our stay. We had a few very minor issues and Daniel was very efficient in handling these. Our only concern was the lack of air conditioning, being the main summer weeks. This should not put you off from renting this charming Villa as our stay was fantastic

A weekend family break
Las Rosas is a lovely traditional Spanish villa just a 10/15 minute walk into the main town.
There was plenty of space for us all and the villa was furnished with everything that we needed. Plenty of crockery, pots and pans etc and a fridge freezer, microwave and oven.
The grounds were wonderful and it has a beautiful pool with plenty of outside seating and sun loungers.
A good quality supermarket is near by and the overall setting was peaceful and very pretty.
Ideal for a mini break or a longer holiday in the summer with everything you need.
Daniel, the owner, couldn't be more helpful and was on hand every time we needed some help or advice.
I would definitely go back and would highly recommend the villa to family and friends.
Thanks for a great stay :)

Beautiful villa, stunning gardens!
We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay at Las Rosas. The villa is very pretty, well furnished and has a real authentic feel.
The kitchen is well stocked and I enjoyed cooking there on many nights... when you are in such a beautiful setting, eating in is as much of a treat as eating out!
The garden at Las Rosas is truly something very special.. beautiful trees and plants in abundance, lovely potted plants adorn the pool area making it even prettier than it already is! Fresh pears from the many trees, and some lovely fresh grapes from the vine, were such a nice treat!
From start to finish, Daniel was a perfect host and we are grateful to him for our wonderful family holiday this year. Many thanks also to Victoria, a very lovely lady who on our last day gave us a lift with our cases into the Port.
Can’t recommend highly enough! 5 stars all round! X

Wonderful relaxing week in Las Rosas
Perfect villa in a perfect location! If you’re looking for peace and relaxation with shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance this is the villa for you. Spacious villa, well equipped with pretty garden and pool set back from the main pedestrian area and beaches which are within an easy 10-15 minutes walk. Spent a week enjoying the pool and garden venturing into Porto Pollença most days to eat or for supplies. Great location for venturing out to Pollença old town and other nearby beaches all within a short drive. Would definitely recommend a holiday to this lovely villa and hope to return sometime soon.

Beautiful oasis!
We came to Las Rosas to celebrate several life events and achievements with our three children and their partners. What a beautiful place! The photos really don't do it justice. The pool and gardens are just perfect. Thank you Daniel for all your help and we would love to return!

Beautiful Villa in a fabulous place
We had a very relaxing week in this lovely villa with a beautiful pool and gardens. We practically lived outside for the week as the surrounding mountain scenery was spectacular. None of our party of six wanted to leave. Daniel, the host made sure everything worked like clockwork and rang us on our first full day to make sure everything was ok.

Fabulous property
Las Rosas was everything we hoped for and just as described. It is the ideal property for families, we are 2 grandparents, son and partner and 2 teenage grandsons. The guesthouse was a lovely little getaway for “nana and grandad”, while the main house was absolutely perfect for the rest of the family. The whole property was well equipped and we didn’t want for anything. It was spotlessly clean with bedding and towels provided. It was also warm and cosy on the chillier nights at the beginning of April.
The outside patio and bbq area were ideal and we enjoyed a lovely bbq one evening. The pool was amazing but as it is still early in the season, rather cool, although the grandsons did have fun in it. We’ve all returned with a definite Mediterranean glow and it was so peaceful to sit in the garden on the sun beds and enjoy the lovely warm sun in the afternoons.
Daniel is the perfect owner, providing explicit written instructions and drawings on how to reach Las Rosas and always ready to answer any queries. We would all love to return sometime in the future and have had an excellent week’s holiday in superb accommodation and a beautiful part of Majorca.

Fantastic location, brilliant service !
Las Rosas was a perfect property for our family holiday ( 6 adults)
It was even better than the photos !!!!! Weather perfect all week.
Daniel had been in touch with us before the holiday, providing directions, information etc and called twice after we arrived to check all was OK.
Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the grounds and pool were beautifully kept. There was everything you needed for catering and barbecuing too.
Supermarkets, shops, restaurants all within a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk. We loved Porto Pollensa and spent one day on a private charter boat, around Pollensa Bay and Formentor. Also hired bikes and rode to Alcudia Old Town. Loved Pollensa old town for the market and restaurants!
We would all love to return one day......Thank you so much

A wonderful holiday at Las Rosas
We stayed for a week at Las Rosas as a family of 5. With excellent weather, we were able to make full use of the spotlessly clean pool and and the beautiful grounds. Daniel was very helpful during the planning stages and whilst we were there. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Lovely property in peaceful location
Of all the properties we have stayed in over the years with Homeaway this has been our favourite. If you like the pictures of the property, the reality is even better. From the minute we arrived the girls said that they loved it. The pool was fantastic and garden lovely, and everything about the property well maintained. The location is very peaceful but within easy reach of the front at Puerto Pollensa, the pinewalk and the supermarket. Daniel could not have done more to make our stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. We will be back....

What an amazing holiday.
We were a family of 2 adults, 2 children and grandparents. The pool and gardens were incredible. The children spent all of their day playing in the pool whilst the grandparents enjoyed the late afternoon sun relaxing on the terrace. The pool goes down as the best pool we have ever used at any private villa....simply fabulous.
Inside the house you have everything you need to make the stay home from home. We made use of the bikes at the house to go cycling every day along the cycle path in Pollenca Bay. We had very enjoyable meals out in the Port but our best meal was the one at Las Rosas where we had a chef come along and cook us a selection of food on the BBQ which was a special treat from my parents.
Daniel helped organise our transfers which worked like clock work as well.

Beautiful Las Rosas with gorgeous gardens and pool
We had a great holiday here!
The villa is in a quiet area with a gorgeous view of the mountain behind. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained, the pool is a great size and the villa is spotlessly clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped if you fancy eating in and the town is only a short walk away.
We did hire a car and I would recommend one if you want to explore the island. There is a lot to see and do and Mallorca is very beautiful.
Daniel is very helpful if you have any questions before you go and he will make sure that you are happy. We are definitely staying here again!
You won't regret booking Las Rosas!

Fabulous Family Holiday
Taking the children away is always a worry. Have I picked the right location? Is the property going to be as good as the images seen? Well this is the first holiday in a while that the family has been together at the same time. My children are 35yrs, 33yrs and 30yrs :) The villa was exactly as described and even in February the garden was clean tidy and colourful. The pool was so inviting I just had to go for a swim - big mistake it was freezing. The property itself was clean, comfortable and well-maintained and Daniel provided us with excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend this property to others and am hoping to return later in the year. We found it an excellent base for our cycling activities and covered many miles. The restaurants and bars that we did visit were quite quiet as it was so early in the year but all were very nice. I can honestly say that we found nothing to dislike even the two days of rain did not put us off.

Brilliant!!!
The property is a dream come true. Beautifully presented and maintained by Daniel and his team. We had a party of 7, three generations, and all loved it......the gardens, the pool, the ambience, the space. Daniel was a pleasure to deal with, at the end of the phone, by email, checking if all was well, prior, during, and post our visit.
If you are looking for a villa with character, within walking distance of Puerto Pollenca, look no further, you won't we disappointed.

Beautiful Villa in Quiet Area of Puerto Pollenca
We were a party of four adults and two young children - three generations of the same family. The accommodation provided by Las Rosas was ideal for us all. The villa and gardens are just as spectacular as Daniel's photos on his web site - in fact, in reality, the setting is even better. The gardens were beautiflully maintaned and set off by the backdrop of craggy mountains. The villas were spotless and very well equipped. We all enjoyed the pool - especially the "4 boys"! The walk into Puerto Pollenca and the beach took about 20 minutes but was too tiring for a 3 year old and we all found that hiring a car for about 10/11 days of the holiday was very useful - especially when carrying large bottles of water from the supermarket.
The owner, Daniel, was very helpful throughout the booking process and during our holiday, and quickly sorted out any problems encountered.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Las Rosas and would definitely hope to holiday there again. Thank you, Daniel.

A beautiful garden and pool.
We had a lovely stay at Las Rosas. The weather was excellent given that it was February, so we made a lot of use of the beautiful garden and terrace. The house is in an excellent position, close to the town but in a quiet location and with a country feel. It took only 15 mins stroll to reach the sea. The heating in the house was good so that in the chilly evenings the house was cosy and warm. Daniel was extremely helpful when we had any enquiry.

A very memorable Christmas Holiday at Las Rosas
Last year we had the idea to spend Christmas and New Year in a house on Mallorca. We had never rented a house before and had searched the internet for hours to finally find Daniel's house. For us it was like love at first sight. The house with its beautiful bougainvillea, the garden, the whole setting was as we had expected it. The kitchen well equipped, the rooms cosy, a lovely garden with a nice and clean pool – the water pretty cold though! The weather couldn't have been better. Almost every day sunny and warm. So we often had lunch in the garden and enjoyed reading outside. We had a wonderful time and can
highly recommend "Las Rosas". Daniel is a great and considerate host and he went through great efforts to make our stay a memorable one.
