All fine / ok. staff lovely and very helpful. breakfast beside pool each morning a joy. Very quiet considering the chaos of the Medina. Other guests were lovely.
Walkway to the entrance horrible scary and dirty but you get used to it. No tv, no fridge or kettle. Two of us got sick because of the local water.

Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and charming authentic decor. We loved having breakfast by the tiled pool and the roof terrace had plenty of shady spaces as well as full sun. Fantastic location for getting around Marrakech on foot. Would definitely book to stay at Riad Alida again.

The room is rather big, and had everything needed
We had an issue to pay w/ card. Administrator tried 5 our different credit cards and failed (although we managed to pay using them in other places and there was enough cash there).
We also tried to assist him, as it was hard for him to insert the right information in the payment terminal, and inserted CVV as long as it is not safe

Breakfast was OK. Riad was well positioned
I had booked and paid for 2 rooms - 1 for myself and 1 for a friend. On arrival, the staff tried to insist that 4 people needed to stay in the rooms I had booked for 2. I refused. Then they insisted that my friend moved from her room (booked 4 months before and paid for) to an inferior room for one night. They crammed 4 people into her room - 2 on put up beds. The 4 people had booked and paid for 2 rooms Another friend who had booked and paid for a specific room was told she had to stay somewhere else up the alleyway. She refused, and another room was found. At breakfast we met other people had been forced to stay up the alleyway as their booked and paid for room was not available. This was all on one day! The next day more friends arrived who had booked 2 rooms 9 months before, and were obliged to stay up the alleyway as no rooms were available. They were told they would have sole use of this but other people (possibly staff) were also there. The host, who is rarely there, seems to regularly doublebook the rooms, and then cram people in together or up the alleyway for at least one night. Presumably he makes more money by getting each room paid for twice. I think he hopes that people will be so grateful to eventually get their room, that they won't complain. Look back in reviews to see the same story over and over again.

Ok tho unimaginative
Location ok
More choice, fresher bread, hot tea
Poor Staff on arrival - hardly any English. Was not given room booked on ground floor. No apology for error. Worrying electrics - sparks on inserting plug! Heard about overbooking

Central location, close to the main sights. Nice roof terrace with lounger chairs and a selection of shady seating. Relaxed, quiet atmosphere with calming pool and planting. Friendly staff.
Tricky to find, located in an alley, no signage.

The location was good, the staff were friendly
the existing heat pump does not heat the room in winter, the room was cool, there was no curtain in the shower room
If the room is on the street side, the noise can be heard in the room

This was our first visit to Marrakesh and first time staying in Riad. According to local people, Riads originally was a big family house where all family members meets together. We booked Jasmine and next door double rooms for my family ( 3 teenagers). When we first stepped in, we all thought that this is going to be a quite different experience!. Then we started to enjoy our stay minutes by minute.Really nice place
Great location-walking distance to souk, and other interesting places. easy to get back to when you are outside the medina( old city), just opposite to Dar El Bacha. very close to the Main Street.
Brilliant host- very friendly, always there to help it felt like home , breakfast area was amazing,
I haven’t stayed in any other Riad , so can’t compare but, Yes definitely will stay in this place if I visited Marrakesh again.
sorry can’t find any!

Beautiful Riad and room. Perfect location - and peaceful. Pleasant, accommodating and respond staff. Arranged a 4am transport to airport and waited with me for its arrival - thank you! English spoken by host…which was very helpful for me.
Rooftop top terrace was very lovely but no view from there. Breakfast was good, not great- although coffee was delicious and abundant :-)

Perfect location, staff were lovely, Riad was quite authentic and extremely good value.
some of my group complained about other guests smoking in communal areas and the smoke getting into their room. But there’s nothing you can do about other guests and it wasn’t bad enough for them to speak to either the guests themselves or the manager, they just moaned at me!

Excellent riad, very well located and with very good service. Excellent breakfast, very quiet pool. Very friendly staff, giving us good advice and helping us. Highly recommended.

Small and private with less number of guests in riad. Staff was welcoming. Location was good if you want to go to souk or main square for frequent shopping. I booked paprika suite because of jacuzzi which was good, could have more pressure. After my partner, I wanted to use but hot water ran out. Otherwise, it worked pretty good for the first time.
Very dim lights in the room. Fireplace was not functional. My husband felt cold in the room despite being warm weather outside but we were provided a heater.

I informed that we’re newlyweds and they gave us an upgrade. We stayed at suite Paprika. So beautiful! Roses on the bed, in the bathtub. Really lovely. The staff is super friendly and speak multiple languages. Very helpful and made us feel at home. The riad is beautifully designed and very calm. I highly recommend this place!
If I really have to say something bad, I would say the wifi. But that’s almost everywhere in Morocco.
