Good stay and good value for money

The apartment was good and had enough space for 1-day stay. The bathroom was good and clean. The apartment is far from any road with traffic so it's very quiet. Free parking on the road. Owner was very helpful in helping us with the luggage. The location is good although you need a car to get to the center.

No elevator. No reception. We arrived at 6-7PM and had to call the owner to receive us and give the keys (he arrived in 5-10 minutes and was very helpful).

Schönes Zimmer mit Balkon

Viel Platz in den Gemeinschaftsräumen (Küche, Wohnzimmer), eigener Balkon mit Sitzmöglichkeit, Blick ins Grüne. Zimmer und Bad waren in sehr gutem Zustand.

Die Küche könnte etwas besser ausgestattet sein, aber das spielte für uns keine große Rolle.

Spacious tranquil apartment lets you soak up the Douro vibe.

Lovely tranquil view from balcony. Kitchen very neat and useful. Excellent coffee.Aircon efficient and bathroom superb.The area you have access to is huge and very relaxing.

Suburban surprise.

It was clean and a lot of space. Everything offered in the kitchen worked and there is a supermarket very close. The view of the hillside from the kitchen balcony is beautiful. Adelino was very friendly and we managed to talk using our phones to translate.

The bed was small and mattress was too hard for us. The kitchen only had one frying pan so we had to buy one.

excellent apartment cool in summer

this is an apartment with lounge kitchen and two other rooms it’s not a private suite as advertised very quiet and well appointed well located

it’s great if you’re the only occupier but it should be clear that if others are there the lounge and kitchen are shared i would appreciate a broom and mop to clean but we were alone for the most part

Very satisfied. Highly recommend it. Good location and can we do without the public transportation.

The location was perfect. It was near the groceries and not far from the train station and the restaurants.

Everything was as expected vis a vis value for money.

Cozy time in Douro Valley

I really appreciated the structure, is a double floor units with shared living room and kitchen but definitely fancier than a hostel, it fits also different kind of travellers. The view of the room was amazing and everything was cozy and clean.

Apartment near the river and places to eat

Very nice house for the group of friends. We were 5 people and we had 3 rooms for ourselves and kitchen and living room and 4 balconies altogether. We got to spend lot of time on the balcony and apartment was near the river and city centre. Good that place had the Lidl shop nearby and lots of places, where to go to eat.

Living room and kitchen weren´t very cozy, but we were out most of the time.

One night at Case de Olival

The room was clean and close to the town centre.

The owner can’t speak English and it was difficult to comunicate. There were few amenities available (toilet paper and soap) barely enough for one night. Moreover, the neighbour has a dog tied in the garden that didn’t stop barking in the afternoon.

Bed was small for two people and had a hard mattress. We were only given one small toilet roll. They charge 5€ for parking, which no other place in the Douro Valley did. Shower water goes hot and cold especially if a neighboring room is also using the shower.

Very good, it met our expectations!

The house is very nice, there's a large living room and a kitchen to share with only two other rooms. The bedrooms and bathrooms are nice and clean.

The mattress was too hard for me. The kitchen could be improved with some basic supplies for cooking (like oil and salt/pepper).
