Location was gorgeous, great swing at top of mountain and horseback riding!!
Nothing.

Great location with great people in natural environment to explore

Awesome experience! Everyone was so friendly and the grounds were beautiful - lots to explore and do but peaceful where you can simply unwind with a view too. We did the waterfall hike (1/2 mile - steep with ropes in sections but able to do with young kids (6,5, and 3) - loved having the jungle to ourselves and the kids had fun in the pools. Lots of outlooks with covering to protect if raining. I would say our highlight was feeding the baby horses. Easy to access property alongside paved road and tasty restaurant nearby as dinner is not provided onsite.

Our first glamping experience was great. The tent is very spacious with a comfortable bed and great shower with a view. So nice to have fresh coffee from their farm in the morning with a view of the volcano and some baby horses. It was very serene and our host Alfonso was excellent and responded quickly to any questions. Loved being able to walk around the cacao trees and smell the beans drying. The air smells like cocoa here!
Some mosquitos at night. Helpful to keep the screen closed at all times.

We were just passing through Tres Equis, so we only booked one night. I wish we had stayed another! What a wonderful, relaxing, memorable stay we had. The host, Alfonso, is an outstanding guy. He made us feel so welcome and encouraged us to explore his beautiful property. We got to see a colt only few hours old, goats, chickens, roosters, and horses. The property is gorgeous and Alfonso let us take our time to hike to a waterfall and swim in the river before we checked out and were on the road again. Breakfast was huge and so delicious. Alfonso brought it right to our door piping hot! If you’re in the area, don’t hesitate to book a couple nights here. We hope to be back one day! He also offers rafting tours and horseback riding tours.

Alfonso and staff were a pleasure! The breakfast was yummy as well. We enjoyed the animals, the views and the big swing.

Location near the Pacuare is great. idyllic country vibes, lots of animals: farm and wild

this is an authentic farm setting within an estate that operates as a business for coffee and chocolate production. we were able to ride horses through the estate with the owner Alfonso who gave us their personal attention and answered questions for 3 hours. it was a unique lifetime experience - amazing !! and a swing with a view …
if you stay here you should be aware this is a working farm with rustic unpretentious accommodation - clean well furnished and completely fit for the stay.

The owner was superfriendly and helpful. We had a great time on the farm, a great exploration of the property and a refreshing bath in the river. lots of animals to see, ideal for animal lovers. delicious breakfast and coffee. highly recommended!

In the midst of nature, secluded, quiet, laid back. Excellent for bird watching, jumping off point for river rafting. Alfonso was so detail oriented and did everything to ensure we enjoyed the property to our tastes.
Everything was great.

Amazing, fantastic, wonderful. We only booked for 2 nights before going Whitewater rafting, we loved it so much we ended up staying an extra 3 nights. Breakfast was lovely. Our host Alfonso was amazing, he really looked after us. It was fun not having electricity makes you realise that you don’t need a lot. Loved feeding the animals and driving down to the river. We would go back . Thank you Alfonso.

Alfonso is a great host with a big heart who really takes care that you have a nice stay, also his team is super friendly and welcoming. The farm is huge & beautiful - you could spend at least two days only hiking & exploring. There are coffee and cacao plantations, farm land with animals (like horses, goats, chicken), a big river, rainforest with waterfall, several view points…pure nature!

Stayed here the night before we went white water rafting but wished we had stayed 2 nights. The lodge was immaculate with everything you would need for your stay.
We were allowed to explore the land owned by Alfonso and spotted so much wildlife on our short stay. The fireflies were magical.
There is also a difficult hike to a waterfall which was great, but be warned, it is steep!
Alfonso made us feel very welcome and you can tell he’s passionate about conservation.

Cabin is much more spacious than on the photo. All the necessary things for cooking, huge breakfast(lasted for us for two another two days). Our boys played with a local family kid toys who lives there. Very welcoming and accommodating host. Perfect place to have runs and very nice village on the other side of the road with big supermarket, carniceria and panaderia.
4.7
A beautiful and peaceful property that extends all the way to the Pacuare River. A perfect mix of farm and forest, flora and fauna, and domestic and wild animals. Alfonso is a gracious host and the coffee is delicious! I wish I had planned for more time here!

Absolutely amazing! Huge property with over 60 acres. Multiple wild forest areas with great river access and limited facilities. We heard coyotes in the night! Horseback riding available. Beautiful setting cacao farm and so much more. Staff was great! We will be coming back soon.
Place was great for location and rural zone. River is accesible via 5 km well maintained road. Not recomended for low riding cars.

We love everything. The farm is very, very pretty. You can see a lot of variety of birds, horse, cacao trees. Alfonso, Alfonso and his wife are awesome, very friendly like a family. breakfast was delicious!!!!!

It’s impossible to pick one thing that we love the most. Everything was perfect: amazing view, so friendly and nice host, delicious breakfast and lovely surroundings
4.7
Very kind host that informs and assists you in whatever you like to do during your stay. Super friendly people. The farm was beatiful. We had a lovely time and we really recommend the rafting tour!
4.7
We only stayed one night as we were heading for Pacuare River Lodge via raft the following morning. The location is idyllic and we were able to walk and explore the farm and see the crops, animals and amazing views. Owner Alfonso was away but made check in very simple for us as caretaker Alonso had been well briefed. Breakfast was typical, plentiful and delivered from the nearby village. Would not hesitate to recommend for those looking to escape the rat race and enjoy rural peace, hiking and wildlife. Our wood cabin was large and well stocked - more than adequate for our needs.
4.7
The forest and farm around the cabin.
The cabin and beds were really comfortable!

This is a great place to stay if you want to experience the farm life. You can go horseback riding, birdwatching, see a beautiful firefly field, and so much more. Alfonso will gladly take you around his farm to show you his coffee and dragonfruit fields Amazing experience.

Alfonso was an excellent host. He's genuinely friendly and helpful and will do whatever he can to make your experience great. It is a unique stay, where you have access to the whole property. Walking up the hill in front of the room overlooks mountains, and you can drive or walk down the road all the way down to the river. Alfonso also took us to the pond at night where we found a lot of nocturnal animals, even a sloth crossing the road.
It's close to the main road, but car sounds were not a problem. The small community of Tres Rios is 5 minute walk away that has 2 small restaurants and grocery store.

The property was beautiful with friendly dogs, horses and goats. Took a nice, short drive to the Pacuare River to see the
rapids and pretty color. Alfonso was a wonderful host and breakfast was served right to our cabin door. Cabin had kitchen, tv, and comfortable beds. Will definitely return for another visit.
Absolutely nothing. Great place!
