The Sonoran Sky is the NEWEST resort on Sandy Beach. The Sonoran Sky Resort rises above Sandy Beach in a single tower. The feel is a little more intimate than at the larger resorts. The Sonoran Sky Resort manages to make the most of its smaller footprint, offering a full list of the amenities you would expect.
The Sonoran Sky greets you with stone arches, marble floors, Old World wrought iron, fountains, and more. Bringing a touch of colonial Mexico to Rocky Point, Sonora, the Sonoran Sky is elegant and inviting. Side by side with the traditional styling, you will find the most modern amenities as well.
The lobby is home to a well-stocked convenience store, a public computer room, as well as a state-of-the-art gym. Machine and free weights are offered. A floor-to-ceiling window lets you watch the ever-changing Sea of Cortez as you rack up miles on a treadmill.
Upper floors of the Sonoran Sky house a spa, a children’s play area, and barbecue grills. Guests are often surprised to find the beautiful Los Volcanes Convention Center right on the second floor. It is large enough to play host to sizable meetings and even wedding dinners. Unique in Rocky Point, Sonoran Sky has an in-house event planner as well.
The ocean side of the Sonoran Sky Resort greets you with a stunning gravity-edge pool. A pool located directly on the beach level offers swim-up bar service. There is a waterslide pool for kids as well as a Jacuzzi. The are was good because it’s at the beginning of resorts. So you can experience both side of resort and local. Pool was good at the different levels

Even more gorgeous than the photos! Clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and spacious for our group of 10 (4 adults, 6 kids ages 8-13). Kitchen was nicely stocked and we were able to prepare all of our own meals. Owner was so nice and communicative. Loved this resort - smaller than others we’ve stayed at, but more chill, relaxed, and quiet. Security was awesome! We felt super safe. (We brought extra TP and paper towels and did use them so I’d recommend bringing a few backups, especially if you are a larger group.)

I stayed with my family at this condo, we were a party of 10. It was more than enough space for all of us. Julie was great at replying to all my the questions. Check-in went pretty smooth, never had this happened that we didnt even have to get off the car. We go every year to Rocky Point and we usually have to spend at least 20min for check in, not this year. Sonoran Sky have the most amazing staff, at the restaurant, bar, pool area and security staff. The condo has view of pools and beach throughout the condo just as the pictures demostarte , the times we ate at the condo we would all be at the balcony just to enjoy the view and we all had comfortable seating. We've been going to Rocky Point for the past 10 plus years and have tried different resorts and we've found our fav place to stay. Beautiful resort, great gym with view to pools and beach, condo big enough for all us, confortable beds & pillows, amazing staff, very clean, owner very reliable and awesome communication. I can't think of anything that I would change. Thank you, Julie. I look forward in continuing to rent your condo for our future summer family vacation at Rocky Point.

What a beautiful place & beautiful view! This condo has it all. 10 of us stayed & we had plenty of room! Kitchen is well stocked. We cooked in some and had all we needed to get it done. Bedrooms are roomy. Beds are very comfortable. We all loved the fact we had our own bathrooms. Bunk beds were so fun for our little ones. The balcony is awesome! We spent so much time out there, eating, having drinks & the kids playing with their toys! Nice furniture out there too!
Julie was amazing & when we had questions she was right on it. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home! We hope to make this a yearly trip!!

I rented this condo to celebrate my birthday. This was my first time renting at this resort. I always stay at either Las Palomas or Las Palmas. From start to finish the process was easy. The condo was tastefully decorated. With breathtaking views of the Sea Of Cortez. It was very large and fit our needs. Julie made the entire process easy, kudos to Julie. I can absolutely say that I am sold. I will definitely rent from Julie again, as well as tell friends and family 🙂

the condo was awesome check in was effortless, it was very clean & I was pleased that it had everything we needed to get started, some condos we have stayed in before have nothing, there was toilet paper, paper towels, dish washing powder & liquid, laundry detergent so it was great to not have to run out right away to get that stuff. The cabinets are filled with everything you could think of. The beds were all very good mattresses. The huge deck was awesome & had plenty of furniture for all of us, I would recommend this particular condo to everyone. The resort itself is also awesome, great pools nice beach, nice people working there, we will come back here.

Beautiful and Convenient Beachfront Condo
We had an amazing time at this resort going to the beach and spending lots of time in the various pools. Very conveniently located just a few minutes from Puerto Penasco town where we found great restaurants, grocery options, souvenirs shopping, and food carts. Beds and amenities in the condo were very comfortable. We’ll be back!

We really enjoyed staying at this property. The family atmosphere at Sonoran Sky was surprisingly quiet even during Spring Break. We could see that all the crazies were a bit further down the beach! The condo was spacious and comfortable. Julie was responsive to any questions that we had. We would totally rent here again!
