About Bath: Bath is Britain’s only World Heritage City with Roman baths, glorious Georgian architecture and a myriad of fascinating shops, restaurants and bars.
'Must sees' include the Roman Baths, Assembly Rooms, Royal Crescent, Pump Room and Pulteney Bridge - the choice is yours.
Grosvenor Place offers the rarety of unrestricted parking outside, there is also private parking at the back, easy access to city centre and a small walled garden. Local pubs and shops within five minutes walk, and the city centre is about 15 minutes level walk away either along London Road or via the Kennet and Avon Canal towpath.
The exciting new Thermae Bath Spa opened in Spring, 2004, with the chance to bathe in thermal mineral waters and enjoy a range of therapeutic treatments in the first new spa to be built in the UK for at least 200 years!
The city itself is a shoppers' paradise, with many interesting and unusual independent shops. There's also a vast array of restaurants and pubs to suit just about every taste and pocket.
Within Reach: Further afield the choices for days out range from Bristol, with its exciting new hands-on interactive science centre and SS Great Britain, to the Cotswolds. The ancient sites of Stonehenge and Avebury are also close by, while Wells and Glastonbury continue the historic theme.
The National Trust village of Lacock is also a short drive away - see if you can spot familiar scenes from the film version of Jane Austen's 'Pride and Prejudice' and the Harry Potter series, while Castle Combe is just one of the many delightful country villages on the doorstep.
The area around Bath offers wonderful opportunities for walking - the Cotswolds Way starts and finishes at the abbey doors, and the surrounding hills and woods are criss-crossed with public footpaths, many offering spectacular views of the city below.
For the less energetic, Bath makes an excellent centre from which to tour the Cotswolds, as well as the beautiful countryside of Somerset, Wiltshire and South Gloucestershire.
What's On?: Bath hosts a whole string of festivals throughout the year. The International Music Festival runs from mid-May to early June, there's a wine festival in June, a real-ale fandago in October, and a Film Festival and Mozart Festival both in November. The Christmas lights run through the whole of December, and there's always a performance of Handel's Messiah in Bath Abbey on the first weekend in December. After spending 2 nights in a small hotel room it was a very pleasant surprise to have so much space. Such a very comfortable and relaxing experience for us in Bath. Sue was fabulous and so helpful. Location perfect for walking into and around Bath itself. Highly recommended and wished we could have stayed longer. Felt very much like home.

The property was perfect and beautifully presented. Great having parking at back of property which made it easy with big suitcases. Lovely walk into Bath via the canal tow path. Enjoyed making use of the outdoor setting and sitting in the garden of an afternoon enjoying the sun.

We enjoyed our stay in the beautiful apartment. Very clean and well equipped!

Enjoyed our stay at this clean and cosy apartment which had everything we needed and walking distance of the city centre (about 25 mins) lovely garden area and parking too. Sue met us there and was informative and helpful. Would definitely recommend for a couple with or without young children or very close friends as bedrooms only separated by curtain.

We stayed here to celebrate my friends 40th and this place is an absolute gem. The location to the city centre is brilliant and there are lovely walks along the canal. The flat is immaculate land has an amazing outside garden that gets the sun in the morning, Sue the host was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend booking here, we are even looking to stay again.

Lovely, very clean flat. Everything + you need for your stay. Within walking distance to the city centre, easy parking. Great not having to use the car during our stay. Very good directions to get to the flat. Met by Sue who kindly showed us around & gave us helpful information about Bath. Check out Sally Lunns eating house for lunch, yummy. We had a great few days, hope to come back one day. Thank you Sue.

Very clean and well equiped appartement with a sunny and lovely little garden. Unique atmosphere. Own parking lot. There is a wonderful path to Bath along the channel.
We enjoyed our short stay very much.
The only criticism is that the pots and pans could be replaced.

Our American family of 3 loved our 2 night stay. We used the back parking spot for our rental car. We enjoyed a lovely summer evening out in the back garden. The walk to Bath city center wasn’t too much and gave us a chance to view the river and snap some unbelievable photos of the city. The location was just perfect for us!
The apartment was so spacious. We had plenty of room for our luggage and brought it in from the back where we parked. We had full control of the thermostat to keep the temp to our preference. We did not cook but did enjoy the provided tea and reheated some food we brought. We did use the provided washing machine which was a great option for us to do some laundry mid trip.
The curtains kept out the light for a really nice dark apartment at night. The view from the windows was gorgeous!
My 8 yo daughter loved the nook she had off the main bedroom. Just a curtain to separate but she felt it was a cozy, private place to sleep.
The bathroom shower is built into a curved wall making it a tight squeeze for my 6 ft tall husband. There is a hand held shower head so although standing straight up was very close to touching the ceiling, the hand held made showering easier.
The place was so clean, looked just like the photos and furniture all in working order. The host was so nice! And had prompt communication about everything. She offers a lovely place like no other to experience English living and enjoy Bath.

Great stay! The property lists 2 bedrooms, but it is worth highlighting that the second bedroom is separated from the main room by just a curtain and has a double futon bed. As such, we'd mostly recommend this stay for a couple.

Absolutely lovely flat being bottom of 6 story Georgian property have a garden and off road parking which was a bonus. Spotlessly clean and comfortable with everything needed for a longer stay. Sue was really helpful and met us when we arrived. About a mile out of the city but lovely walk in along the canal. Perfect !

My sister and I walked the Cotswold Way and ended in Bath with 5 days in this fabulous flat. My husband joined us there. It had everything we needed, laundry, dishwasher and great little private garden. We ate in every night, kitchen was fully equipped. Short 1 1/2 mile walk to historic Bath center. Also lovely trails along the River Avon just behind the flat. Wish we’d had time to explore them a little more. Sue, our host, was so accommodating. I can’t say enough good things about this location!

Sue was the perfect host! She met us at the apartment, showed us where everything was., and told us how to catch the bus. That was so helpful. The apartment itself was well-equipped, very clean, and very conveniently located. We really enjoyed staying there!

Always a plus in Bath to have a parking space and a garden

We enjoyed our stay here. It was about a 20-30 min walk into Bath, but there's a path that takes you there and it's beautiful walk. The home was perfect for our family. There were games and toys for our small children. It was spacious and comfortable.

A great apartment in walking distance of the town centre. Plenty of space for 4 people. Well equipped kitchen with everything we needed. The milk on the fridge was a nice touch. Beautiful walled garden.

Secure parking and distance to Bath. Comfortable rental. Only issue was shower was too short with the curved wall; my husband had to kneel in tub to wash his hair. Otherwise, great space.

This was perfect for us. House was very well appointed with lots of space for two adults and two children. Sue was super friendly. Met us at the property and gave us a run down of where everything was. Loved the little touches like shampoo and body wash in the bathroom and tea nags and milk all there for us. Made a huge difference for us who have been moving around a lot. The garden was delightful and we enjoyed sitting there on the warm evenings.

The property was just as pictured, and the garden area was a real bonus. We were able to park around the back, outside the garden on most days, and when there were workmen out back, parking was very easy out front. Short walk for groceries and dining, and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking most meals. Very enjoyable stay!

Two nights in the glorious city of Bath. Our stay in Sue’s well appointed and quaint apartment was excellent.
