Juste parfait.

Struttura molto bella accogliente camere ampie e spaziose.

Only the beach
Where to start, just imagine a 5-star hotel without air conditioning, bugs everywhere, water cutting out while you are in the shower, and equipment inside the room very old, and rusty I had to ask them to change the shower head for example because it was very rusty.
The food there is so bad, same breakfast every day, with limited amount, it normal that they run out of toast by 9 am and there is no refill option!
It's also not a family-friendly hotel, nothing for you kids there!
Imagine also that you need to ask them turn on the air conditioner when you want to sit in the lobby or in the coffee area!! It’s about 40 degrees outside
Is this really a 5-star hotel?

I liked the Tunisian feel. beautiful foyer. close to beach.
nothing was really up and running as seemed to be getting ready for season doing repairs. swimming pools indoor and outdoor were not heated. indoor swimming pool sauna etc not working. A lot of stuff needed cleaning.

breakfast is awful and not even a decent coffee was available (we were told the espresso is broken) . Issues with the jacuzzi. Room cleaners come in the room without properly announcing themselves

I liked very much the spacious room, very clean, all the furniture are modern and good size.
The breakfast is reasonable and it is catered for anyone, there is a room of improvements in the breakfast.
The fridge is used as a minibar,I did not want the mini bar so I had to ask the staff to empty the mini bar so I can use it as a fridge,it is very small really and you can't fit much in that fridge.

The breakfast was great- great selection of food, juices and coffee. The beachfront access and pool were also really nice.
The room was SO HOT. To the point where the strawberries they gave us on arrival molded in 3 hours. We were told that they don’t turn on the air conditioner until June- so keep this in mind when booking. They told us to open the door for the breeze but there were so many bugs and we got bit all night and there was music playing outside that you can hear when the door was open.

all I liked about this location is the room was perfect
because it’s quite and no clients or people staying there it’s like a ghost lives there , plus the I arrived 2 minutes late to the buffet restaurant for the breakfast they told me it’s closed I stayed me and my kids without breakfast

We arrived to check in and the lights in the lobby were not even on, nor were the lights in the hallways. We had to carry our luggage to the second floor as there was no elevator to that area of the hotel. the mattresses were saggy and the beds we not even made properly. How this hotel is listed as a five star hotel on the Booking.com is beyond comprehension. We ended up leaving before we even stayed. By the way, Tareek at the front desk was excellent.

Nice ocean view, nice palm garden, nice private beach, bathtub, comfortable large kingsize bed!
The whole hotel pretty oldschool (80s-like), terrible food (dinner and breakfast far from 5-stars-standard), hardly any of the staff speaks proper English, the "jacuzzi" is a bad joke, no Smart-TV in the room, only a small bathtub and you're facing the wall when you sit in there, obstructed view from the balcony, strange parking spaces, bad service in the restaurant (I asked for a Latte Macchiato at the breakfast and the waitor looked at me like I had insulted his mother - of course he had never heard of such a thing as Latte Macchiato), you don't receive beach towels upon your arrival or have them on your room but you have to organize them at the pool - which means you have to find and catch any guy who's running around there and then have to explain him what "towel" means and then wait another five minutes until he will come back with them...

The Hasdrubal Thalassa in Djerba is a beautiful resort. The premises are very nice, the rooms tastefully decorated and comfortable and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast buffet was included in the price and it was copious and of good quality.
We spent 4 nights at Hasdrubal Thalassa Djerba in July 2022. Tourism was just picking up after de Covid pandemic. We therefore found some minor maintenance details (the handle to the terrace door, the TV); however they were minor things that did not affect our stay in any way. Moreover, as soon as we reported them, they were taken care of.
My only suggestion regards the breakfast arrangements. My impression is that more staff is needed to provide a good service in the morning. Although a breakfast buffet entails, by definition, self-service, staff is nonetheless needed to set tables, bring extra cutlery or linen. In my opinion, the few members of staff present were overwhelmed, and could not attend to the many guests in the morning. We often had lto ook around the service carts for our own cutlery and napkins.
Yet, as I have already said, that is a minor detail apart from which our stay was great and really enjoyable.

The pool.
Poor breakfast. It is not a five stars hotels. Very expensive compared to the service.
