Tres déçu pour un 4 *

Le petit déjeuner

L’attente :40 min avant d’avoir la chambre Piscine intérieur en travaux Mobilier vétuste et vieux , pas de frigo à l’intérieur de la chambre .

Guter Ausgangspunkt für die Wüste

Das Hotel / die Ausstattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Dunkles Zimmer ohne Balkon. Ebenfalls der Pool. WLAN reicht nicht bis in die Zimmer. Zusätzliche Pooltücher gibt es nur auf Anfrage und dann nur widerwillig. Wir wollten etwas später auschecken und mussten dafür bezahlen obwohl das Hotel nicht ausgebucht war.

Desert Douz ✌🏼

Le parti comuni, il parcheggio per la moto, la piscina

Credo che ci siano delle buone camere nella struttura, ma la mia camera era vecchia e poco pulita, prese della corrente distanti dal letto, moquette vecchia e sporca. Devo però dire che abbiamo pagato decisamente poco. La colazione accettabile, ottime le crepes e omelette, il resto non di mio gusto. Nell’insieme tutto accettabile.

Very friendly staff and good location. Large room and beautiful surroundings. A large pool and beautiful lighting at night. The hotel staff was very helpful organising a desert tour for us. The hotel has a souvenir shop and a very friendly 'resident cat'.

The choice of food was poor and we could not choose dishes for dinner. It was set menu although the kitchen staff provided extra dishes for free. It would have been nicer to have a la carte menu where guests could choose what they want to eat.

Would not stay again

In general It wasn't so bad. Beautiful swimming pull. But for the same money in other cities you can get 2 bedroom apartments with everything you need.

Can't say more than other reviews, there were only two electric socket in the room, both designed for the tv and the fridge means far from the bed. Stuff woke me up twice in the same morning to ask about cleaning because I hadn't found "don't disturb" sign in my room. No kettle either. No wi-fi at all in my room. No welcome water in the room. Place a bit far from everything, but taxi outside is cheap Lock on the door to my room was visually damaged, and i wasn't feeling save about my valuables I have feeling that this hotel was designed in 1960 or so, and our life just has changed so much and this hotel is not. And I understand that it is too expensive to refresh so big place when you are located in not very touristic place and so doesn't have enough income. If I were manager and had to make cheap changes then I would buy: wi-fi routers, electric socket extensions, kettles and one bottle of water for guests, plus keep an eye at "don't disturb marks". These minor changes would change my assessment a lot.

The magical Sahara.

This is our 5th time of staying here - as usual we were not disappointed. Had a great time. Fantastic staff, very attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Good selection of food at all mealtimes. Fabulous pool area. Lovely bedroom, very clean, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom. All areas of the hotel very clean and well kept. Douz and surrounding areas have so much to offer. Wonderful, magical place.

There is nothing that we didnt like. Everything was great.

Everything was good only there was not intrernet access in room

The rooms were clean. The indoor pool was useful in winter. The size of the rooms was acceptable. Breakfasts were good.

There is no WiFi in the rooms. It was strange! 4 stars hotel without WiFi in rooms. For the internet, we had to go to Lobby, far from our rooms.

I think it is an ok hotel which show that it had its best days! Nonetheless i would recommend to stay at this hotel if you visit Douz. It's a clean hotel on a very good location near the desert. And we loved the pool!!

Good hotel in the tourist zone, with comfortable spacious clean rooms. Dinner was good.

There was not refrigerator. Also, no wi-fi in the rooms which is unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. Breakfast was poor, but this seems to be a normal situation for most hotels in Tunisia.

Disappointing

A big Pool that's open till late, and a nice security guard, who was very helpful.

The light in the Toilet wasn't working, and the second we used our flashlights they revealed what the guests before us left behind. The interior was clearly a few years too old, and the beds were rockhard. All in all there should be a general renovation or they should substract one star.

Swimming pool is amazing! Breakfast is okey, free buffet and they make you crepes. Rooms are Big and they have separate toilet and shower. They help US quickly to book Sáhara trips. At a normal price, not over priced

Door didnt open right on both of the rooms we booked! Beds are a bit un confortable, at least at double room because they were two single beds together. If you want to dime there is expensive. Is a bit far from the city but near Sáhara desert activities.

The room was clean, but everything is old, especially in the bathroom.

There is no wifi in the room, the breakfast is very poor in options, the bathtub is old and rusted and there was a continuous noise coming from somewhere.
