FANTASTISCH, heerlijk kalm rustig in de natuur

Deze accommodatie is echt voor mensen die van natuur, rust en vriendelijke mensen houden. De accommodatie is direct gelegen aan het strand, waarbij je heerlijk kan genieten. Ook surflessen worden goed geregeld. Het is een mooi en kalm strand. Als je de drukte wilt opzoeken is het ongeveer 5 a 10 minuten met een tuktuk / taxi. Het ontbijt en avond eten is heerlijk. De eigenaar en het personeel zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Beste verblijf in Sri Lanka.

Exceptionellt bra läge på stranden med romantiskt omgivning. Lugn o vacker trädgård och omgivning med ägar familjen som tog emot med öppen famn. Mycket omtänksam och hjälpsamma med minsta förfrågan. Bra hjälp med seightseing individuella paket lösningar som Roshan gärna ställde upp med egen tid utan ersättning. Väldigt prisvärda romantiska middagslösningar på strand med nyfångad fisk, skaldjur och levande musik, eld. Kan verkligen rekommenderas för både par och barnfamiljer. Grym surfing direkt på strand med bästa guiden som jobbade för hotellet.

Pga av färska råvaror som används vid matlagning kan man ibland få vänta en stund med västerländska mått mätt.

- Top Lage - Schöne Außenanlage - Liegen und Schirme standen zur Verfügung - Zimmer sauber - Zimmer Upgrade auf Anfrage

- Handtücher wurden nur auf Anfrage gewechselt (Aufenthalt 11 Tage!!!) - Toilettenpapier wurde nur auf Anfrage nachgefüllt - Extrem lange Wartezeiten im Restaurant - Überhöhte Preise und schlechte Qualität bei Special- Dinner - Sandflöhen-Plage am Strand - Nur Barzahlung möglich - schlechter Service für ausländische Gäste (da ATM Abhebung Glückssache ist) +++Eigentümer Roshan zeigt bei Kritik leider ein sehr befremdliches Verhalten+++

Very good beachfront location

Perfect Location right at the beachfront. Not too busy area in between Weligama downtown and Mirissa. Some very good foodplaces in walking distance. You can rent a surfboard if you want. We stayed even one Night longer than planned because of the relaxed atmosphere. They serve Sri Lankan and English Breakfast. The owner offered us a fresh fish at the evening for dinner, which was great.

The pillow smelled a little weired, like it got wet before. The dogs around were very loud, barking at the Nightime. Beside this everything was fine.

Amazing location directly by the beach. Very calm, clean with a beautiful view over the sea. You feel private at the beach. It’s located between very busy Weligama and Mirissa. So it’s the perfect hide out. The staff is amazing, very nice, friendly and especially open for families since it’s family owned. They prepare really good food and drinks, they do bbqs and bonfires. They even had baby turtles when we stayed there. They are very protective of the environment and make sure that everything is well taken care of. It’s just perfect if you love a good beach holiday close to the city. And it’s very good for surfing!

right by beach, very calm, surfing for kids nearby, perfect for chilling. lounges under shade and on the beach. amaaazing waves.

all was amazing, perhaps dogs around…we love dogs but a bit too many. make sure to keep trainers inside room. they like those.

We had great time here and definitely would recommend this place as the best to stay in Weligama!

Great price/value ratio! Comfortable room with A/C and hot water. Super cozy beach without people just in front of the hotel. Still very easy to get to Weligama center (20 min walk by the seashore or 3 min by tuk-tuk). Great and friendly staff, that gives enough attention to every guest and always ready to help. Initially we intended to stay for 1 week, but prolonged our stay for an extra week and enjoyed every day of our vacation:)

Wi-fi was not working in the room, but we got local sim-cards in the airport so we didn't need it. Also would be great to add some shower gels and shampoos to the room :)

Great people and great place!

Relax Beach Resort is one of the best hotels I have ever been to! Hotel: Very clean and modern. It's freshly built and we were the first guests staying in our rooms. Rooms are clean and nicely designed and every room has a beautiful ocean view. The people working here put in a really lot of love and energy, which makes this place very lovely. Food: Every day you get only fresh food from local (not touristic) market. It's very tasty, fresh, and healthy. Breakfast is until 11:30. Good and variable menu. They even cook fresh soups, if you want, and have a good choice of dishes. Service: Great service, very helpful team, and owner. Roshan (the owner) organized good tours for the fairest prices and shows really amazing things, you won't be able to see with other guides. The tour car is comfortable and big. You can also rent your own tuc-tuc in the hotel. Also, there is a small surf school with its own surfboards in the hotel. Roshan organized a beautiful Bonfire on the beach at night, with music and singing. It was amazing! Environment: Roshan is the only local, that heavily supports plastic/waist reduction. He uses wooden furniture instead of plastic, as an example. He also fights for clean beaches and recycling and thanks to his efforts, the garbage collection in Weligama developed a lot. He supported me very well and helped me when I needed it. I recommend this place because it's a developed hotel with great service and lovely and helpful people with respect for their guests and environment.

Your surfing heaven

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They arrange surfing lessons and you can rent a board. The food is good. You must try deviled fish! Hotel area is teeming with life: there are chameleons, dogs, butterflies, bees, crickets, and I even saw a monitor lizard!
