Lovely B&B, fabulous hosts.
This was a great find for a two night break, we loved this little B&B situated just a stone's throw from the beachfront (and a great beach cafe with excellent ice-creams!) and a short drive from Blackpool. The hosts, Keith and Kate, were very friendly and welcoming and provided excellent communications in advance of our visit. Greeted with a glass of sherry if we wanted, our room was on the 1st floor, and was very spacious, with high ceilings and great facilities, in particular, an excellent bright and airy bathroom with a very decent shower. The room had several lovely antique pieces and the bed was very comfortable. A tea tray with tea, coffee and biscuits was provided and there was a very good information folder in the room giving the history of the building and why it has its name. Breakfast was cooked to order and very good, with the usual cooked breakfast offerings, plus toast, cereal, fruit, muffins etc. We used Whiteside Taxis to get about on Keith's recommendation, and they were fantastic. Thoroughly recommended for a peaceful, comfortable break.
Parking was our only issue. There are only two spaces at the property so it's on the street and can be a little way away.

Great. Relaxing. Fully Satisfied
Very Happy indeed with the quality items available for breakfast . Hosts freely inform of local places of interest. Very helpful. Hosts took the trouble to ask each morning if room met our needs

I'll be staying there again soon.
Great breakfast with plenty of choices. Very accommodating hosts. Off road parking for two cars but the road is not at all busy so on-road parking is not a major problem. It's a brisk 20min walk into the town centre but it's all on the level. Bonus was a nice glass of sherry after 5pm!
It's a small family-run hotel so, as long as your expectations are in line with that and it meets your needs, it's just the job.

Excellent B&B! Wonderful couple running it!
Kate and Keith think if every detail, down to the dual toilet seat for toilet training and scissors to open milk cartons. The bathroom was huge and beautiful as were the two rooms (family room 5). Breakfast was phenomenal! Nothing is too much trouble for Kate and Keith. Nice quiet area, not too close to Blackpool. Will definitely be going again. Thanks so much for your hospitality 😁
There's is literally nothing bad to say about this place! For a point of improvement though, a bifold door on the second bedroom would be great as there was no door between our room and the young grandchildren but we still managed.
