The staff were very helpful and genuinely friendly. Our room was enormous and well appointed. The restaurant which is rarely mentioned in reviews is excellent. Parking is possible (but not guaranteed) directly in front of the property. All in all it was incredible value for money.
Honestly, we couldn’t fault it.

300 year old traditional Canarian building very well restored around traditional courtyard. Manager was friendly, welcoming and helpful. La Orotava is well worth a visit. Interesting Tiede museum too.
No air-conditioning but the climate was a lot cooler than around Playa de Las Americas but more humid. Minor point.

The accommodation was placed in a great place. The botanical garden was also a short distance away. The room was nicely furnished with a view of the garden. Breakfast was varied and very tasty.
4.3
Great Location.
Limited restaurant facilities, no coffee in room, and English breakfast not catered for.
4.3
Central location in historic area. Very pleasant helpful staff.
Carpets etc a little tired but very clean and comfortable.

Friendly staff, good location

Very warm welcome by Jose Manuel. He was kind and helpful. Wonderful breakfast served in the courtyard. Fantastic views from the rooftop balcony. Fantastic ancient building very well maintained while incorporating modern comforts.

This is a lovely traditional style hotel maintained to a very high standard. The staff are very helpful, we arrived early and our baggage was stored for us. The bedroom was large and very comfortable and the bathroom was top class. There was a kettle, cups and tea in the room, which is not always the case in mainland Europe.
Would prefer if an app. for access was not neccessary. There was a slight glitch as there are two different but related apps. The link we received and which we used was for an app which did not work for us. However this did not really cause us a problem as there was a very helpful member of staff at the check-in desk when we arrived around midday. Once the correct app was installed it worked very smoothly for the test of our stay. Probably best if a link was send to this app.

Large room, beautifully furnished, plenty of towels and bath products and we had a door that opened out onto a walled terrace, which was a major bonus. The hotel has a lift and is a traditional Spanish style hotel, with the rooms around a tiled Terrance, extremely attractive.
The staff we encountered were very helpful and the breakfast was excellent, cooked freshly and plenty of it. This is a most lovely hotel
We liked everything, all excellent

Very easy checkin and room access with the app. The old building is beautiful and central. A few parking places just outside the building available for guests.

The property manager, Jose Emmanuel, was delightful to work with in every way. He was friendly, helped us make reservations for Mt Tiede and gave us a restaurant recommendation. The location was great for walking around the historical area and parking was fairly easy. Also, the breakfasts were fabulous!
We enjoyed every aspect of our stay.

Nice location, friendly staff, good breakfast. In general very good value for the price paid. The beds were super confy.
Can't think of anything to be honest. My experience was fine and it met my expectations.
4.3
nice old building, location and view from the window was nice
the room was quite cold (late april) and as the breakfast is served in the middle of the building, you could hear everything inside the room.

The best place to stay while visiting Orotava. Can't imagine more central localization. Enchanting view from roof terrace. Breakfast big and tasty with different fruits and nice bread, you can order scrumbled eggs or other stuff. Nothing to complain about. Rooms clean and located in typical canarian strukture
Nothing

Well run, small hotel. Nice breakfast with good coffee. Charming local style.
We were in room 101 which is overlooking the street. Orotava has small streets with constant traffic so we did hear a lot of car noise from 4am on….
4.3
Nice rooms, great location, interesting building and friendly staff.
Simple breakfast with great scramble eggs.
A new decorations would be great.
In the breakfast some natural juices should be part of the breakfast.
4.3
Perfect location, for a very authentic building with lots of charm! good breakfast and value for money too
4.3
The hotel is centrally located inside a very old house with an inner courtyard. breakfast is served in the courtyard. from the rooftop you can see both Orotava, the Atlantic Ocean and Mount Teide.
there are only three parking spots reserved to the hotel customers. although street parking is free, it may be difficult to find a spot.
4.3
traditional attractive building - good breakfast served by very efficient staff
limited parking- we paid extra for a room with a view didn’t have a view

Very calm and cozy place. The stuff is nice and priffesional!

Lovely building with excellent location and stunning views from the roof terrace.
We stayed in room 302. TV was ancient and the light in the bathroom was pretty bad (blue tint lightbulb, one of them burned out). Overall not reflecting the price of the room.
4.3
Location, beautiful view from window, electronic key was very efficient
When the staff were there they were lovely, but most of the time there was no-one there due to COVID. This made the hotel feel a bit like an empty ghost hotel with no atmosphere. Restaurant closed in the evening and we always ate breakfast alone.

Great location. very friendly staff. Traditional feel

Friendly reception on arrival. Lovely room for Euro82. Had booked dinner in restaurant as it was listed as one of best in town and it excelled. Marvellous waiter. Wonderful cuisine and wine - Euro70 total cost but it was special. Excellent continental breakfast. Checked out no bother.
Swapped towels but with no bother..
