This place was clean and Richard was available for questions. Pools r nice and good location near marina for boat tours. FYI no blow dryer which my teens were bummed about. little bit of paradise and hard to leave!

This was the perfect condo for our family of 4, which included 2 teens and 2 adults, for 10 nights. Plenty of space to be together yet apart if desired. The balcony was our favorite spot to hang out. The morning sunrise, the warm breeze, listening to the music from the bars and restaurants below on the weekends and watching all the traffic on the water in and out of the marinas was so relaxing. For those rainy days and evenings, the games at the kitchen table and sharing the large couch to watch a show together (or take a nap), worked out perfectly.
The kitchen was well stocked. The air fryer came in handy when we decided to "fry" our own fish from our fishing excursion. The condo is also well stocked with towels for both bath and beach. The large washer and dryer were very beneficial, especially for a longer stay.
From the reservation date on, Richard's communication was detailed and easy to follow. You should definitely make your way through his restaurant recommendations. Our favorite was Rincon El Faro, but we enjoyed all the ones we went to on his list (we made it to 8 of them). The activity list he provided was also helpful in finding a fishing guide (787 Fishing - we highly recommend). Richard kept us updated on happenings around the condo that we should know about (such as the gym not being available one day due to maintenance) and checked in with us during our stay.
We would definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to some friends.

Richard is an amazing host. The condo had everything we needed for a comfortable family vacation. The selection of restaurants within walking distance of the condo was great too. I’d definitely stay here again the next time we visit Puerto Rico!

We made a great choice in reserving this condo. The location is ideal. Pictures in the post are exactly as is - gorgeous. It is nearby to several attractions (Seven Seas beach, biobay tour, rainforest, catamaran) and local cuisine. The spacious, clean condo provided amazing views - the coffee and wine even tasted better on the balcony! Excellent communication with the host, including check in/out instructions, fantastic recommendations for dining, and more.

We had the best stay at the property. The property provided a beautiful view, was very clean, and centrally located to everything. The pools at the complex and gated entrance were great amenities at a fraction of the cost of a resort. The owner provided so much great information about the area and the property which made our visit even better. We give this property all the stars!

My family and I had an amazing time in Fajardo. Most of the attractions we were planning to go to were nearby (Icacos, El Yunque National Forest, beaches). Place was clean and functional for us. Richard was a great host. Our check-in and check-out process went smoothly.
The view from the balcony is great. We enjoyed many of sun rises there.
Would definitely stay there again and recommend to our family and friends.

We were two couples celebrating our respective 25th wedding anniversaries and a 50th birthday and we wanted to go BIG! We chose to vacation, without kids, to Puerto Rico and it was the best decision we could have made.
If I could, I would give our stay 10 stars out of 5! It was more than we could have every expected for our first time in PR.
I am limited in the number of characters I have to write this, so here is the bottom line:
The condo we stayed in is probably like many other condos in PR. However, the differences in this unit are the difference between a good stay and a fantastic stay. Those differences are the view and the host!
This condo advertises a great view. Let me tell you how great it was. While the unit has a TV, it doesn't need one. We didn't turn it on during our 5 day visit. When we weren't out of the condo, we were on the balcony enjoying our morning coffee, our afternoon cocktails and our evening desserts on that balcony soaking in the most perfect view over the ocean.
However, the best part of this unit is its host, Richard. I have used VRBO a lot and have booked up and down the east coast. I have never had a home host like Rich. You don't feel like you're renting from him. You feel like he is hosting you as a guest in his home even though he is in Florida. He provided wonderful recommendations. He checked on how we were doing during the week. He was the most gracious host I have ever encountered on VRBO. I will rent from him again!!!

This place was spectacular! From location to ocean view from our balcony, the host was very accommodating for our family from the very beginning as well. Everything is conveniently accessible from gym to pool and restaurants and stores for late night snacks. Fajardo is a beautiful place to be especially with loved ones. We can’t wait to come again and would love to stay at this location again! We love the cleanliness of the villa surroundings too.

We had a wonderful stay in Richard’s condo. The apartment is very clean and spacious. The view from the balcony is gorgeous. We had a late arrival made later by flight delays. When we arrived, well into the night, we had a little trouble opening the door to the unit. Through it all, Richard was gracious and accommodating, ultimately letting us in remotely. A little more about the apartment - the beds are firm; the showers are excellent; the room ACs work as well as central air; and the kitchen is well-equipped with dishes, pots, pans and small appliances.

We loved our stay here in Fajardo! Richard was amazing very attentive and helpful. I highly recommend this condo. Location is perfect to get everywhere. The condo is exactly as pictured. This Condo was simply outstanding. Richard was a terrific host, his beautiful Condo is super confortable and clean. He was incredibly helpful. Pool & SPA were amazing. We had a perfect and relaxing vacation. Can’t wait to come back.

This condo had everything that our family of five needed. We visited different beaches and used the beach towels and chairs that were provided. We did have some difficulty entering the front door code the first 2 days. After that no challenges. This beautiful place is exactly as described! We did not interact with property manager. The owner was very responsive and helpful!

We absolutely loved our stay at Peña Mar ocean club! And Richard was very nice and accommodating upon arrival when we had an emergency come up in San Juan which landed my daughter to the emergency room for 6 hours! (That’s another story) but Richard was still very kind and helpful to us in getting in the apartment at like 3:00AM! And as far as the apartment itself it was immaculate and organized and my OCD appreciated it so much! Super clean new white towels and bedding, also nice is the bidet in the master bathroom 😊the balcony was so spacious and beautiful too! my only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!

Rich provided us with the BEST VACATION EVER. He was extremely accommodating by allowed us to check in early at 12PM, as I was traveling with my senior mother. So this was a big plus. The accommodations were exceptional as well. This is a beautiful condo. It’s clean and has a lot of comfort items to make you feel at home and it was very peaceful. I plan to return and recommend to my friends and family.

We had a great stay at the condo. There were so many items there to use during your stay, such as beach towels, umbrellas, and beach toys, so we didn’t have to bring our own. Richard was very responsive to any questions and was a great source of information.

Our stay was wonderful, I highly recommend. Place was clean, Richard the owner was super nice, responded right away to questions we had, and provided detailed activity ideas for the area. The unit itself was clean, provided all the kitchen items to make our own breakfast, board games for the kids, lots of towels, and great views. If we ever return, we will definitely stay here again.

My family has stayed at many vacation rentals, and this was probably the cleanest and most organized. Richard is very easy to communicate with, and responded to all inquiries quickly. The place itself is great. The interior is exactly as advertised, but the view from the balcony is even better than the pictures. Highly recommend.

Wow! We had a fantastic family vacation at Rich’s place in Fajardo! It was a wonderful location for both the rainforest as well as beautiful beaches (we went to Seven Seas and Luquillo- Luquillo was our favorite). The condo left nothing to be desired - it had everything! From a well stocked kitchen to board games to tennis rackets for use at the tennis court at the Peña Mar to beach towels and beach gear, a cooler, and beach chairs, we literally had everything we could have needed. There was even a pack n play for our little one (which was so nice to not have to bring from home!!). The condo was so well designed - we had no power outages during our stay, but I know those can be common in PR, but with the cross breeze in the condo, we would have been completely comfortable either way. The view was incredible! And the condo actually felt very spacious, even with five kids as well as my husband and I! It’s amazing how all the little extras really helped to make our vacation easy and low stress!
The complex felt extremely safe - it is gated and you have to register to be able to enter. The entire complex was spotless. The pools were lovely and cleaned regularly, the gym was a really nice extra amenity, and we thought it was very well maintained.
Rich was wonderful to work with - he was very responsive. We hope to return very soon!

The condo is modern, will kept and clean. It has a good view of the marina. But be warned! The guard at the entrance gate will only let in the people on the contract. Some of them require photo ID to get into the property. This happens every time you leave and return (even for just a quick trip to the grocery store). This means that it is impossible for any other friends or family to visit or hang out with you while you are there. So if you are looking for a nice place to crash it's fine. If you want to have any kind of family gathering (even just a simple dinner) with people not actually staying at the condo, it is impossible.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and clean condo. The location is about a 35 min drive from San Juan Airport. The condo is Private and gated in the beautiful town of Fajardo. The condo owner was extremely helpful and provided exceptional communication before during and after our stay. This is the only place we’ll stay for all future visits to San Juan.

My 3 boys (ages 10, 7 and 5), husband and myself stayed here and loved it!! Beautiful property, everything was very clean. My boys loved the pools and water slide. The location is perfect for taking any of the boat tours out of Fajardo because it’s so close to the marina. And it’s only a short drive to the rainforest. I loved enjoying my morning coffee on the balcony looking at the ocean. So many delicious restaurants nearby!

Excellent property near the coast with beautiful harbor views and secure, clean dwelling. Check in process was somewhat tedious—using google docs would be an improvement.

This was the first time I have ever booked from Vrbo and I must say, I am glad I did. This place is just as it appears in the pics . It's very clean and the vibes are warm. The Rooms are spacious and the view from the balcony is serene.

American Airline had some problems and as a result my family and I missed the 4 to 8 pm check in window that had been arranged. With some telephone calls we were able to get checked into the property fairly late without complications. The apartment is at the edge of the city but easy to find and close enough to dining and other areas of interest.We enjoyed all of the extras the facility offered and all procedures were well explained. Plus those ocean views and breeze was heaven. Not sure if I will return to Puerto Rico but I would definitely return to this property.

We were on the west end of island when the earthquakes began and lost power. We asked this property owner if he would accommodate us sooner and w/o hesitation we moved 2 days earlier than expected. Immediately it felt safe, we had water/electric, the home was clean and beautiful. We will only come back to this location in the future! He treated us like family. Thank you Richard!

Richard's home was a perfect choice for trip to Puerto Rico. My girls (18 and 14) really enjoyed the pools. Complex was very clean and quiet. When we messaged him, he responded quickly. Richard was a great help in giving us ideas for restaurants, daily excursions, and local beaches. He checked in with us and made sure we had everything we needed. We loved staying in this condo. Our family is 2 adults and 4 kids (6-11). This place had plenty of room for everyone. It was so clean when we arrived. The kids loved the pools, and the location was close to an amazing boat charter we took out to Culebra as well as a fantastic bio-bay tour. We would recommend this condo for anyone visiting Puerto Rico particularly if you want to get a bit farther away from the busy city.

2 couples spent 5 nights at Richard's great condo in the Pena Mar Ocean Club in Fajardo.
The apartment was spotless, very comfortable, equipped with everything you might need from kitchen extras (blender, sandwich maker) to beach chairs and toys, flat screen TV and a great balcony overlooking the ocean. We climbed El Yunque Peak, took a water taxi to Icacos, kayaked in bioluminescent bay, went birding and checked out many local restaurants. Richard was very available to help us in any way. Highly recommend!

From our first inquiry to the last day Richard was accommodating. This condo is clean has everything you would need for a relaxing vacation. You will need a car. This is not on the ocean but the views are amazing. We woke up early just to see a couple sun rises. Enjoying our coffee on the balcony. There is a marina on the other side of the street with a couple of snorkeling/scuba companies. So a short walk or drive if you want to go on any snorkeling trips. . Several restaurants within walking distance or drive. We enjoyed Pescador Don Candi the first and last night. They are open on the weekends only. We also went to Pasion El Fagon on Valentines day. Beaches are just a short drive away. Seven seas within about 10 min. There are restaurants in that area too. Luquillo is a short distance and there is a beautiful beach and the food kiosks. Richard has beach chairs, cooler and towels already to pack in the car and spend the day there. The kitchen is well equipped for anything you made need. Grocery stores are a short drive away. Walmart and Econo. But it looked like a Pueblo grocery store was opening soon that would be even closer. We tried only one of the pools near the condo and it was clean with a slide. Thank you Richard we had a wonderful time.

Our family of six, four boys, stayed at Richard’s condo Jan 30-Feb 3. The place was very spacious for us and was spotlessly clean. We enjoyed the beautiful ocean views from the balcony each morning and the boys loved the water slide pool and infinity pool. Fajardo is a pretty short drive to El Yunque, Old San Juan, and some great beaches nearby. We would stay there again. Thanks for sharing your place with us!

I stayed at this property recently (Jan. 18th-22nd). I absolutely loved it. It really felt like a home away from home. Very clean and comfortable. The view from the patio was even more amazing in person. I spent every morning drinking my coffee and looking at the water. Richard, the owner of the condo was also very helpful! Any questions I had, he helped me with. I highly recommend staying here if you come to Fajardo :)
