On arrival the hotel was very dated and had a musky smell we was shown to our room by the receptionist who took at least 10 minutes to even acknowledge we were stood at reception.
When let into our room it was very dated but under further inspection the beds were not suitable and had holes under the divan base so had to move the mattresses to the floor as beds were not safe. the bathroom was mouldy and the shower was not acceptable as couldn’t even wash hair the water was not powerful enough.
When ringing to reception to request a fan as the room was hot I was told no. There was 1 plug socket in the whole of the room so requested a extension lead and was also told no.
I looked on google about the seascape and did not see any nice reviews. It is used as a homeless shelter and I did not feel safe staying there we had to put our suitcases infront of the door at night time as we was worried.
I don’t feel like this is suitable for people to stay in regardless to how cheap it is. I chose it because it was close to my friends hotel not for the cheapness of it. I tried Friday night to find another hotel but the check in dates the day did not suit to what I had plansz
I kept my important belongings in the car to keep them safe.
I am not happy with outcome of no refund and I will be having this investigated further. This is the worse and most unsafe hotel I have ever stayed in. It either needs to be just for homeless people or no one at all

A decent place to stay when we had nowhere else to go and nice high ceilings
Very outdated decor. Creaky hallways. No biscuits in the room.

Everything dirty. I have tried to make complaint already

The staff were totally helpful & went out of their way to help.
The patio doors in our room would not open, they were a milky white blown glass. We were not allowed to open them as the balcony was considered dangerous. The tiny window above opened about an inch. The beautiful garden we looked out over was out of bounds. There were homeless people living there too, which did not bother me but it did my partner. The TV remote had to be obtained from reception available with a £10 deposit.
Upon reading this note in our room my partner decided that was the final straw & we left, without staying the night.£ 85 wasted!!

When we arrived we wasn't greeted the best by the person behind the glass he had to ring the manager and ask weather we was there or not we got put in a room. There was no towels, kettle, cold water, fire alarm was set off at 3:18am we understand this cannit be help by the hotel by there was no apologie and was poorly managed. when we left we got told we was not ment to be in that room but got put in it anyway witch only angered is more as the manager said to have us put in that room and staff failed to put it right.
Was a shame as we had a great holiday untill we stayed here.
He said we can get a refund via booking.com
Many thanks

Back in June 2022 we lived here for over a month because of homeless issues we lived in room 66 I've read through all the reviews most are bad however I feel like they are all fussy people the place is amazing you get a roof over your head, some people complain about no hot water but there is a pattern with Seascape if you look at the clock the heating and hot water comes on at 12, 3, 6 and 9 am and pm if the water is cold just Wait! Be patient with the place! I did bring my Ouija board when I lived there and I can confirm there is something ghosty there but it is harmless sometimes I would see things in the mirror at night just ignore it and go sleep it's not dangerous! The TVs are not so good all you need is to bring your own TV cable plug it in the wall and your in business it you are in a low room not phone signal if you are on a top floor bring a Roku box put your phone 4G on and hot spot it and then watch what you want if you go the the garden at night you get free smoke from other people staying there absolutely ideal the place is close to shops and town centre I had the absolute time on my life here I missed the place lots and lots so I decided to come back this weekend and definitely plan on returning as much as possible the staff might take a while to understand what you're saying sometimes but it's ok they are all nice people here🙂
You can't get WiFi in your room only in the common room near the bar
People complain about this place for no reason
There bar and restaurant is never open I just want to know what it would be like to have a pint and breakfast here😭
The ghosts are boring here!
