Location
No hot water, water pouring through ceiling at 1.40am when another room took a shower, when we complained via booking com the hotel stated we were lying!

Liked absolutely nothing
The cleanliness, facilities, and safety was questionable.
1. A fight broke out between what seemed like locals and friends of the hotel staff in the reception one evening while I was speaking to staff. I did not at all feel safe there after that. Felt like a hangout spot for the local thugs and a place to carry out ones' drama. Not once did the staff apologies for the trouble. Very unprofessional.
2. The sink tap was missing components and the shower drain took a very long time to drain water. The shower floor was just a drain in the middle of the floor which was the same as the rest of the floor, so since the water didn't drain properly, the whole bathroom floor was water logged for about 5 minutes after finishing the shower in the mornings.
3. The bathroom window had a crack in it, and their way of fixing it was to put wet toilet tissue over it to cover the cracks.
4. The carpet was coming up off the floor in the bedroom area, and the walls were dirty and chipped everywhere.
5. Reception staff were just sleeping on sofa's when I left in the morning and it seemed that since it was a family run business, the family of the staff were having their dinners in the reception/lobby area in the evenings.
In short, The room was in poor condition overall. Everything looked dated and the room, as with the hotel, was run down.
2.2
A friendly welcome on arrival and a large quiet room that backed onto a school, so a peaceful night's sleep. The room was clean and even had a fridge. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby to grab something to eat.
It was a little bit of bit of a walk from the underground into the city, but it is near a bus route.
2.2
NOTHING
The room was like a prison cell - with two single beds behind each other - very uncomftable and ratterly metal bed frame
no toilet facilities on gorund floor or in my room or any sink in room or toilet - no shower facilities
staff not very forthcoming
overall very poor and dissapointent in paying 67 pounds
2.2
The room wasn't that small, but it was incredibly basic and did not look clean especially the bathroom.
The bathroom needs serious renovations. The room (basement) is extremely warm and the mattress really uncomfotable.

Good location, warm room, warm water
Room 117 with a small window, fridge, kettle, freshly painted walls
Helpful staff
Relatively clean room, bathroom
Relatively safe
Room 120 with skylight, dirty, hair and stains on sheets, food stains on the walls
Room 117 very small, window not closing, lady next door (room 118) was having people in every 15 mins until 3am
Worn out mattress, smelly towels

You get what you pay for and this was better than the reviews suggest. Beds decent, Towel provided.
Bathroom could of done with a bit of a deeper clean.

Major improvements since last stay. I booked here by accident not realising I had stayed here years ago. It has improved significantly since the last visit but still needs improving.
It's suitable for solo travellers on a budget who want a private room.
2.2
Staff
The rooms, especially the shower needs cleaning and a restoration badly. The sky receiver is old and therefore loud, so it has to be put off power at night. There was no hairdryer at first, all the door locks are broken or close to it. They feel unsafe and easy to break. Some furniture was installed the wrong way, for example one shelf was ready to fall off the wall. The power sockets were not all functional or made suspicious sounds when plugging something in.
2.2
The location, en suite toilet
2.2
Nothing
No one at reception to greet us. Boggies wiped down the bathroom walls. The slamming of doors and excessive conversation outside the bedroom at all hours of the night.

Great value for money, perfect location, nice and small and cosy. Nice staff too!
There's two hotels of the same name on the same street, ended up going to the wrong one after a night out. Could have been me, but maybe a name change/extra addition to separate the two?

nothing
this place is truly disgusting,

The first room we booked smelled strongly of smoke. There were blood stains on the wall and previous guests underwear still in the room. We then had to pay extra to move to a different room. Which still smelled of smoke but not as strong. The room was also not clean but cleaner than the other room which was disgraceful.
