Wonderful.

Very comfortable large bed and a pleasant view from my window. The Guest House is very close to the train station and only a few minutes walk away and shops are close. Having said that the Guest House is in a very quite area.

Great location and lovely staff. I would staff again

The property was well located and a great size. We had 3 single bed which were extremely comfy and had a lot of space.

The shower didn’t work great, took a while to heat up and the dial was on backwards. Also it was clean enough but don’t think it had been hoovered as we found peanuts on the floor.

Sue and Steve very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, great choice of options. Room spacious and welcoming, comfy bed. Pepsi the Boerboel and Missy the tonkinese made the stay extra special.

Poor value for money, dirty property which is poorly maintained.

It was dirty, one of the rooms wasn’t en suite as stated. There were 2 cats and a dog in the property that wasn’t stated (which didn’t help my allergy to cats). It was dusty. (Which didn’t help my dads asthma). The breakfast was greasy and poorly cooked.

Exceptional

Sue and Steve are incredibly friendly hosts. The breakfast was delicious. The room was clean, cozy, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The dog and cats were great to visit with. Wonderful place to stay.

The owners were very welcoming and the breakfast was very good. The property was very good value for the location. We enjoyed staying at this property, and although the accommodation was a little dated and tired, this was made up for by the friendliness of the owners.

The room is pleasant, the bed was comfortable. Good location to access the Highlands Wildlife Park and other places in Cairngorms.

When we arrived, the toilet did not flush. The owner fixed it, and it worked decently till the next morning. When we drawn the attention of the lady of the house at checkout, her reply was "but in other rooms it's OK" - this does not really solve the issue... Moreover, the dining room does not allow to serve all the guests at the same time - we were offered to wait with breakfast till 9:30, which was too late for us. So, our rating reflects our disappointment form this specific stay.

Good place to stop on the way up further north

the host was very welcoming and knowledgeable of the area. Property is well located to reach local amenities.

The room didn’t have a proper shower which I would have preferred. I thought I’d booked a better spec room with a little more space. It was ok for a one night stay.

The hosts were delightful and available for questions. Available to advise on places to visit in local area.

Needed to order breakfast night before. It was fixed price. There was an array of food but I didn’t want it. I wonder if there were more options rather than 1 option for £9.50?

Very good stay. Would definitely recommend

We liked how clean it was and the fact that we did not need anything as the basics were all provided.

Only the fact that the hot water was difficult to regulate but we showered.

Dirty, tired, smelly rooms Dog and owners living there Can't make noise, no social space No hot tub or BBQ available but they were listed in the description!

Really friendly. No- nonsense.

Super- friendly owners. Delicious porridge with whisky in. Does the job for three blokes cycling. Safe cycle storage.

perfect location but far from perfect facilities

The off road parking was great and the room was warm and the breakfast was lovely although we had wrongly assumed that it was included in the price

i found having the bath in the room with just an over tap shower strange and very inconvenient also having the toilet for our room at the other side of the house was to say the least annoying!. A very uncomfortable setup!

Great location for hiking the local mountains. The owners were super welcoming and friendly. accommodation was super clean and comfortable. was fortunate to have my own en-suite with a bath which was welcomed after a long day on the hills. this was my second visit and would stay again.
