Memorably quirky house only slightly off the beaten track.

If you are a quick in, quick out traveller with everything in the obvious place, this is not for you. The house is fascinating and the eye wanders from one interesting object to another

Wonderful house

My 2nd time staying at Greystones :) this is such a wonderful place to stay. The most comfortable & homely house... wouldn't stay anywhere else in Kingussie. Anne makes absolutely delicious breakfasts, her eggs are unbeatable 😊 thank you for having me ❤️ hopefully I'll see you and Gus again sometime soon.

Perfect location for trips Great hosts Typical Scottisch house, room has amazing atmosphere and is very cosy Everything was clean Only few minutes walk to the supermarket, the bus stop and the train station I can definitely recommend to everyone. :)

We loved our stay here. The location is excellent and the room was very clean and comfortable and we had a nice view to the garden. Breakfast was really good. No complaints at all!

Lovely place

Comfortable bed, huge bathroom and spacious common area downstairs. Quiet location away from the main street down in the town. Fabulous , polite, friendly hostess.

Delightful accommodation with the most stunning views of the Cairngorms.

The hosts were receptive and attentive throughout my stay. The accommodation was very comfortable with impecable standards. The breakfast exceeded with quality and taste. Will definitely look forward to returning in another occasion.

I would of prefered drink facilities in my room Also a tv would of been nice No locks on the doors either from the outside It was perfect for 1 night stay but no longer really

Seems popular with outdoor types as ideally located for walks and cycling. Enjoyed the living room, great to mix with the other guests, very relaxing. I was just passing through in my way South, but will have to think of an excuse to come back again sometime:) Anne very friendly and accommodating, thanks!

One night in Badenoch…

Anne, Mark and Dug are fantastic hosts. I loved the interior and the old furniture, a very traditional aesthetic and homely feel. Comfortable beds and the best night’s sleep in a while. A very grand overall appearance. It’s not my first stay here and it shall not be my last either. Thank you for your kind hospitality.

You can hear people from inside the rooms but I didn’t mind it too much

Relaxing and pleasant stop on my John O’Groats to Lands End cycle

Excellent location, very comfortable accommodation and very friendly owner. A great experience of staying in a beautiful highland house surrounded by lovely gardens and with breakfast eggs from the chickens in the garden.

Lovely old traditional building with large comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Exceptionally friendly and accommodating owners, who could do enough. Will return.
