This property was excellent for when we visited family who lived locally and were unable to accommodate us on this occasion. It was clean and well presented, and gave us a good base for breakfasts and quiet evenings after family dinners. We appreciated the short walk to the beach.

We hadn’t been told how to access the property. My attempts to attain that information had been unanswered and the office phone wasn’t taking messages as the mailbox was full. Our booking was from the Sunday and as no one had replied to me by Saturday afternoon I had to ring the emergency number to find out how to gain entry to the property. Not knowing at that stage whether the emergency contact would be able to help.
The property itself was great, but that’s irrelevant if you can’t get in!

We were in Alloway for a wedding. This property was well located for our purposes.

We were here for a month due to building work at our own local home so really had the opportunity to try out the house as one would if living there permenantly.
All the basics in the house for cooking and cleaning including W/M, Tumble Dryer, Coffee maker and telly in all 3 bedrooms. My constructive feedback is that light switches and doors where grubby and considering the house sleeps 6 comfortably morning loo time has to be a patient affair as only the one loo in the place. Overall we're very happy with our stay.

Wonderful ,well appointed property. This was ideal for our stay in Ayr for a wedding. As we had a 2yr old and a 9 month old in our party this spacious property suited our needs exactly. Very clean and with lots of extra features including a wonderful bathroom we will not hesitate to stay again and to recommend it to our friends. Linda Robinson.

The pictures of this house don't really do it justice. It is much bigger inside. We had such a lovely relaxing break and the added bonus was that the weather was extremely sunny so we made the most of the garden and the beach. It was so quiet at night you could hear a pin drop. Was in a really nice part of Ayr and all the neighbours we came across were very happy to be stopped and asked for directions. The only downside is that please fix the back door. I noted in a previous review put on about a year ago stating the back door needed repaired and obviously this has not been taken into account. I had to physically kick the bottom part of the door to get it to shut. Some poor holidaymaker is going to have to deal with a broken door one time which won't be by their own making. I will definitely be back and this will be our first choice when coming back to Ayr.

We had a great stay with our 2 kids.
Pros:
Everything worked.
Main Living Room was Very Nice - Very comfy sofas
Beds were comfy
2nd living room was handy - (kids preferred to play in there with their toys)
Nice neighbourhood
Well looked after garden - nice flowers
Easy check in - check out
Very nice fixtures and fittings - a very nice house.
Kids loved the bath.
Cons:
Not completely clean. Very lazy cleaning in my opinion. I have recently stayed in a B and B, a Hotel and we rented a cottage and they were all spotless.
For example I personally noticed:
Dirty bath (with sand or hairs at the bottom), hairs and dust on the bin lid in the bathroom Dirty marks on the glass coffee table in the main living room and dirty marks on the glass windows.
The kitchen was the worst - (sink area, microwave, table , table matts, cutlery holder, cupboard handles) were all dirty. The floor looked clean but was very sticky.
Back garden has a greenhouse containing equipment and nothing was growing. Ruins what would be an amazing garden. It should be removed.
Back door is ready to break and should be fixed before it wont close.
Summary
A great house which was mainly clean. I wish I had brought my cleaning gear - 15 minutes would have had the house spotless. If it had been any worse I would have complained. I would stay again but I will be looking to see what else is available first.

We went to Scotland to play golf at The Open venues. While on the west side we stayed at this house in Ayr. It was centrally located for our playing at Turnberry, Prestwick, and Royal Troon.
The home was very clean and fully equipped. The neighborhood was quiet secure and safe. The towns of Ayr and Prestwick were short drives away.
The cost was very reasonable and of excellent value. I would not hesitate to return.
