We loved our stay, the place was great! , really enjoyed the surroundings and view from both decks, loved everything about it! Would definitely rent again if we needed to.

Definitely wonderful stay at this beautiful home. Everything we needed for our family weekend. Including great air conditioning, fast wifi, views, hot tub, and a kitchen with everything we needed to cook meals and gather in multiple rooms all weekend long. And my Tesla loved having a charger right outside our door!

It is a very well equipped house, enjoyed the nice BBQ (blackstone) and the porch; the downstairs kids room was a problem; it smelled like cat pee or cat nip or something and the kids hated being in there; but the rest of the house was nice. It was very dog friendly, thanks.

They thought of every need to fully function in the cabin. From dog friendly treats to everything you need to cook a great meal for the family. The views from the cabin are gorgeous and the entire place was super clean. I truly enjoyed sitting on the patio reading with my coffee.

This home was spacious, clean and comfortable. There were three adults and five children. It was nice having the upper level for the adults while the children can hang out on the lower level in the bunkbed room. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the upper patio, looking out to the mountains.

Our group of family and friends had a great time at this house. It was very well-stocked, clean, in excellent condition and very comfortable. Good location, we enjoyed going to town and to the nature center. Lots of space for the kids to hang out too. Would definitely stay again!

This was the perfect place for our group of 3 families, 8 people. Clean and well-kept, welcoming, well-stocked, and plenty of room for a large group.

Loved this rental. Looks small from outside but it is spacious enough for private sleep and small enough for together time. My kids loved having their own bunk beds. Everything updated and the central heating made our stay very comfortable. Highly recommend, would definitely book again in future!!

Perfect for our needs. Able to accommodate whole family including kids, adults and handicapped grandmother (she stayed in the master bedroom on ground level to avoid the stairs. Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved our time at this rental. Lot's of quality family time playing games and enjoying the snow/scenery. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The bbq grill was actually a hibachi, which was fun to use. I really only have one gripe and that is/was the deck was under repair so a portion of it was off limits. Great place overall!

My group had the best time! There were 10 adults, a 1.5 yo, and two dogs and our group fit so nicely in this home. The home is also stocked up with everything you could need from extra sheets, blankets, games for fun, a kitchen full of utensils/cookware, and even some toys for the baby. The two living areas were perfect for our group activities and when we needed some space to separate out. The deck which wraps around the cabin was awesome and we loved enjoying time out there from sunrise to sunset. Also, the hosts were SO nice, reaching out ahead of time to see if we needed anything else before we arrived. Already miss it wish we were all still there!

Had fun and will definitely suggest this property to future guests. It’s just very hot in the afternoon so just be mindful of that. No ac at the lower level. But overall, great experience. 👌🏽

Perfect Idyllwild Location
As advertised- great location- 15 minute walk into town. The house is comfortable and unpretentious. The hot tub, and all amenities in good working order. The kitchen is well equipped, and a basket of snacks was waiting for us. We especially enjoyed the wrap around deck on the upper level, complete with gates to keep our dog safe.

Winter Wonderland
We are a family that thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed. The views are amazing. We were able to enjoy nature on the beautiful deck, in the hot tub and on the comfortable patio chairs. We barbecued and used the fully-equipped kitchen. Our 3 year old loved the toys provided and the kids cups, plates and bowls. We will definitely be back!

Lovely Property
Stayed at this wonderful property November 2020 with a group of 9 women for a relaxing get away. The house was very clean, and well stocked from the kitchen to the spa towels and paper products (ie: toilet paper and kleenex). The beds are all very comfortable and rooms nicely decorated. The spa was a 10+! Sparkling clean and hot! Many properties advertise hot tubs that are not functional or property maintained which is frustrating. The communication with David was great, We had no issues during our stay. It is a lovely quick 15 minute walk to downtown Idyllwild. Great stay, see you next November!

Beautiful View, But Disappointing Property
As the pictures show, the view and the deck are beautiful. We loved the beautiful, serene views. Unfortunately, the home itself needs some maintenance and TLC. Broken cabinets, broken outlets, broken screen door, and the AC didn't work while we were there (it was 86 INSIDE one day). The downstairs area smelled musty and like mildew or mold, which the property manager said she had noticed too, but didn't know how to fix. Property manager was responsive and kind, but not able to fix issues. She also said she had noticed the smell downstairs but wasn't sure how to fix and suggested I clean the washing machine to see if it helped. Really, really disappointing for a property that has so much promise. I took pictures and kindly sent them to the management company, and was only offered tiny fraction of our money back. I would not recommend.

Cozy, comfortable and clean.
Beautiful Scenery, the most clean and fresh linens. It has everything one can as for a comfortable start.

Well Equipped!
This cabin has everything you will need for your stay. The comfortable furnishings make for a relaxing experience in every room. Lighting is good, heating is efficient. Kitchen supplies provide for almost every cooking situation. Everything works, which is amazing for a rental. I think this cabin would really be ideal for a summer vacation.
One issue might be the long narrow driveway which could be a little irritating for groups with multiple cars. All in all, we were very happy with this home away from home.

Weekend Getaway
Property was a joy to stay at. More than adequate for 5 adults. Patio was a blessing during the day but moreso in the evening. Visiting from Yuma, so the evening temperatures were delightful. Will be trying to book for next year's Idyllwild 5K Walk/Run.

Relaxing Getaway
Our group of 12 ladies spent 3 nights at Peaceful Pines Retreat, a perfect name for this home. We had a relaxing getaway with a beautiful view of the mountainside. We brought food to cook all weekend and found everything we needed in the kitchen. The beds are all very comfortable and the home was clean and tidy. The decks were spacious and it was nice to sit in the sun or shade. The hot tub was a nice way to end the evening soaking under the stars. We had a wonderful time and would love to go back again!

Wonderful house and location!
My family had a wonderful retreat in the pines at this lovely house. Perfectly clean, nicely decorated, comfortable beds with soft sheets, well-stocked kitchen, and a very pretty view from the wraparound porch. The kids loved the board games, bunk-beds, and running around exploring the boulders and forest behind the house. I can’t think of a single negative thing to say about this place!

Great way to enjoy Idyllwild. The family loved the experience. Close to town and trails. The house was clean and comfortable with beautiful views. The house was fully outfitted for preparing meals and even games for the family. We will definitely do this trip again and would love to stay here.

A cozy Christmas getaway
This was the perfect place for my family at Christmas. The home was spacious but cozy and warm. The view at sunset was stunning, and the hot tub was delightful. It felt like a true home away from home. The fact that you arranged for it to magically start snowing right as the children were opening their Christmas stockings was a bonus! Thanks for everything.

Perfect Family Getaway!
We had such a wonderful time, and this home was perfect for our small family gathering. The view was amazing (beautiful sunset our first evening!), the hot tub was relaxing, and there was plenty of room for everyone with two different "living/hang out" areas. It is not too far from the town and hiking trails. Marina was really quick to answer any questions we had. It was especially neat to see a Christmas tree set up, along with some holiday decor, because we had a gift exchange for the kids. We would love to return to this home someday and highly recommend it!

Best place we've stayed in Idyllwild
The best thing about this house is the location - it's a short walk to the state park and wilderness area. No need to get in the car and drive to the trailhead. The house itself is so comfortable and so well equipped that you don't really need to bring anything except food (we cook all our meals during our stay) and clothes. The manager, Marina, communicated a lot and treated us very well. We're a family from ages 3 to 70 and the house has games (with instructions in case you've forgotten how to play chinese checkers) and amusements for everyone; and the hot tub was a popular choice at the end of a chilly, rainy day. Plenty of TV's but we never turned one on the whole weekend. We do a mountain weekend every year with our kids and grandkids and this house is better than any place we've stayed in Idyllwild, Julian or Palomar Mtn.

Nice weekend
The house was clean and well equipped with necessary items.
The kitchen had a good selection of pots & pans to cook for a family.
The view on the deck was awesome.
Large hot tub looking on to view was a welcomed retreat after a day of hiking.
