We have lived in Paphos for over 10 years and have a wealth of local knowledge and experience. We feel that many visitors are simply thrown into the deep end upon arrival at a property, with little or zero local knowledge. We are on hand personally to offer our help and experience as needed, as well as being able to offer our best personal recommendations gained over a decade of trial and error to help make your holiday truly special.
The house is furnished to a very high standard with all the conveniences you may need. The pool, gardens and resort are maintained impeccably.
We personally collect you from Paphos airport free of charge to ensure you are taken care of from the moment you arrive in Cyprus.
Detailed Description:
Aurora Villa is 20 minutes from Paphos airport with our complimentary transfer, midway between the sea and the renovated old town. It's on a small, attractive development of 35 houses and apartments and has a large pool with sun loungers. We are within easy walking distance of local sites, restaurants and shops. We get excellent reviews from our guests and have repeat bookings. The harbour has an old fort to explore & a wonderful archeological site with great mosaics & amphitheatre. If you choose to hire our car there is so much to see & do in Cyprus, (but because of our position, it's not essential). Driving on the left is easy & roads are not crowded. Paphos has a low crime rate and we are in a particularly low crime area, but we subscribe to a security service to give you peace of mind. We also provide a safe for your valuables.
Kitchen: The kitchen has a 4 ring electric hob and full sized cooker. There is a microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer and a washing machine. There's an ample supply of cutlery and crockery and we have plastic plates and glasses for outdoor use.
Living Room: The lounge/diner is a large room with a high ceiling. It has a ceiling fan, aircon and winter heating. There are 2 leather sofas with a coffee table; a laptop, plasma TV with DVD/CD player and lots of CD's and DVD's. It has a dining table & 4 chairs.
The bathroom has a bath/shower WC and wash basin. It has winter heating and a generous amount of storage.
On the ground floor there is a WC/cloakroom with wash basin. We provide a hair dryer.
Golf: There are 4 golf courses a short drive from Paphos including the fabulous Elea Golf Course which has a challenging Par 71 course, designed by the legendary Sir Nick Faldo. It incorporates numerous natural features and boasts stunning views of the Mediterranean. Google 'Golf courses in Paphos' for more information.

This development is ideal for children. Provided seniors can cope with stairs, it's also ideal for them as we're in a level area and it's an easy walk to restaurants and shops. It's a non smoking house, but with the warm weather, it's no problem to smoke outside. All utilities such as electricity, aircon and heating are included in the price. (some owners charge extra). We take 4 people and a baby and cots, high chairs and a welcome pack is a standard feature for all bookings.
Outside:
There is a good sized patio facing the pool with a garden table and large sun umbrella and 4 cushioned chairs. There is a small planted area with Bird of Paradise plants. The large shared swimming pool has sun loungers and we supply two mattresses for the loungers to make them more comfortable. The master bedroom also overlooks the pool and has a balcony with a table and 2 chairs.
Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service:
Towels and linen are provided and changed weekly. We also provide beach towels. The house is cleaned at the start and end of your stay.
Other:
There is a communal, lockable pool room/changing room with toilets and showers.

We could not fault James and his property, he was a font of knowledge, places to go, restaurants etc. Collection and return from the airport was a real bonus. Regular checks to see if we were OK. Top man.

James, the host was very helpful, he picked us up and dropped off at the airport, very helpful with knowledge of the local area, very convenient location, even helped us with renting a car, any minor problems with the accommodation were swiftly dealt with,overall a very enjoyable stay, would definitely recommend

Great villa, very comfortable in an area not too far from shops, restaurants etc. Pool was lovely and clean although too cold for us to use this visit. James was so helpful with airport transfers and recommendations for good food places. Great TV package. He also helped with car hire which was so easy. We would definitely stay here again on another holiday.

Excellent Holiday
The townhouse was exactly as described totally home from home and with James you had the perfect host. Everything that could be needed was there with very comfortable furniture etc, whilst having A/c to keep the temperature at the required level in the heat. The pool area was very clean and tidy with security doing patrols day and night, it was a great place to stay as just a few mins walk from the Harbour we hired a car which was arranged for us by James which was great. And last but not least James picked us up and dropped us off at the airport whi h made everything just perfect, a very nice genuine host who could not do to much for you.

four of us, all over 60, stayed at this property for three weeks in May.
Everything was wonderful from the initial booking to checking out.
James met us at the airport, made us feel very welcome like we were old friends. Got to the property and we had been left a lovely welcome pack. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Linen and towel were lovely and pool towels were supplied. The pool was cleaned everyday, lots of sun beds were available.
Only about a five minute drive down to the harbour, also lots of the historical sights were within close proximity.
James also sorted a hire car for us. I can’t rate the property or James highly enough, hopefully we’ll be booking again next year

The property was very modern and spacious, tastefully decorated with lovely gardens all around the pool. There were 2 of us staying. Everything that you needed was provided including some food in the fridge. James collected us from airport and his dad returned us there, which was great. They went out of their way to help and make us welcome.

Perfect for couples friends and family. Great Host.
Everything was as advertised. Felt safe and welcomed. There was food etc awaiting us on arrival. A really great extra. James made sure we were settled on arrival and spent time showing us around.

On arrival at airport James's dad picked us up and took us to apartment. James was waiting on us and went through everything that we needed to know. He had also supplied a welcome pack that keeps you going till you shop, including beer, wine, milk, bread, cheese, ham and plenty of fruit and veg. Great touch especially if you arrived later in the day. James couldn't be more helpful he even arranged our hire car for us and took us to pick it up and offered to pick us up when we returned it. The complex is small and very well maintained. I would definitely recommend this property. Good luck to James with your apartments, you definitely go that extra mile.

Superb accommodation and host
Excellent accommodation with everything you might need. The house and complex were spotless. There is a large pool area with plenty of sun beds and the complex is a 20 minute walk to the harbour where there are lots of bars and restaurants. James is an excellent host who is on always on hand if you have any questions. He goes out of his way to make you feel welcome and the free airport transfers and very generous welcome pack are a big bonus.
We have been coming to Paphos for many years and this was by far the best accommodation we’ve stayed in.

James was a fantastic host: nothing was too much trouble. His property is excellent, well equipped and comfortable with air con, multi channel tv and a great shower. The pool was relaxing and virtually empty, very safe and a sun trap.
James was accommodating and helpful at all times, from an airport pick up, door to door, to advice on excellent eateries.
Thoroughly recommended.

Superb from start to finish
The house and facilities are exemplary, there is everything you would need to have an enjoyable and relaxing holiday.
James is a superstar, great communication, before and during the stay, pick up from and to the airport is a great extra touch.
The house is in a quiet area but short walking distance to restaurants and bars etc.
James provides a brilliant welcome pack, so if you are arriving late, the essentials are there for you, food, wine, beer, hot drinks etc.
(He even went to his friends organic fruit and veg farm and dropped of Lemons and Avocados)
All the amenities are in the house, iron, hairdryer, plenty of towels/linen and well catered kitchen etc.
The pool area is relaxing, well maintained and everyone was very friendly.
As is the modern world, excellent wifi and when the weather may not be so great, plenty of choice on the TV or DVDs.
I would say it's not just a holiday let, it is a home from home, which for us was great.
Overall fantastic accommodation and James the owner superb.

Perfect from start to finish
From the initial booking to the end of our stay was faultless. Communication was great before and during our stay. Quick responses to any question. The house was exactly as pictured. Imaculately clean throughout, everything you needed provided. Complex was very quiet, pool area was spotless. James was the perfect host on hand to provide help if needed but not intrusive. The airport transfers and welcome pack a massive bonus. If looking for somewhere to eat check out the Pambis diner which is about a 10 minute walk. Local mini markets a short distance away. We hired a car which meant everything was fairly close. Can’t recommend highly enough only hope when we decide to return we are able to book here again as I am sure that the superb standards will ensure that the house is in constant demand.

James was a perfect host, the property was clean, well kept, in a great location and the welcome pack was more than generous.
The complex was quiet, there were plenty of sun loungers and it was only a short walk to the local shops and supermarket.

Ok, so we rented this house from the 19th of July to the end.
First of all great communication from James, all questions answered. I felt like I was dealing with an honest and decent owner. A nice plus is James and family live in Cyprus. They are nearby and on hand to answer any questions or provide help if needed.
Nice touch, picked up and dropped off to airport. 2 less things to worry about. Very nice welcome pack. Saved a visit to the supermarket on our first day until after breakfast the next day. Lovely little home from home. Spotless. There was everything we needed. My wife loved the lien and towels. AC and fan worked a treat. James doesn’t charge extra like some. The pool area was never more than a dozen or so people at the most. In fact many times we had it to ourselves or just another family or two. Lovely pool with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas.
James rented us he’s people carrier for 20 euro a day. All done on trust, none of the petrol and damage scams. The AC did struggle at times but then it was peak season and it was hot by even Cypriot standards.
James has plenty of recommendations. Many we tried. We ate out every night and never had a bad meal. In fact the whole holiday was near perfect.
In our view you need a car from James location. There are car hire places everywhere, don’t worry. There really in so much to see and do in Paphos. We are looking to return in the next year or two. We will look to see if James place is free.
Negatives: There really was none. But a BBQ would have been a cherry on the cake. After we saw the fresh prawns, octopus and squid at the supermarket. There was some technical issues with the satellite. But we never put the TV on once. We were too busy enjoying ourselves.
This place wins hands down on many fronts. For us it was the personal touch!
We have no hesitation in recommending James place and would return. Thank you again James. Please pass our regards to your father. Let him know my daughter got a great mortgage just a few days ago. He will understand…;-]……..ohhh and I accidently took one of your books home. Sorry!

Fit The Bill Perfectly !!
Absolute reassurance in booking this property from start to finish. Couldn't have asked for a better host/owner to deal with, a pity not all owners are this customer focused. James - your customers have hit the jackpot if this your way of working.
The property was all that was portrayed on the website - a lovely town house which was well maintained and furnished. Didn't want for anything within and all our needs were covered - even down to the very generous welcome pack provided. The complex was a quiet and well maintained site - pool and surrounds were clean and it was obvious that owners of these surrounding properties were committed to making the complex a pleasure to stay at. The location was in a quiet area but this was within very easy driving distance to anywhere - well served with local shops for convenience.
All in all, a very much enjoyed stay and we will look to return in the very near future. Well done James - it's a credit to you.

The property exceeded my expectations, excellent in every way.
Perfect break, James was at Paphos airport to pick my wife and I up even though the flight had been delayed, the generous welcome pack was an added bonus as we were too tired to go out and eat.
The house was impeccably clean and situated on a charming small development, very quite and peaceful.
James called us the next day to ensure all was well, I had a slight problem with the Internet connection but he sorted it within the hour, it appears I was entering the wrong code.
James directed us to some very nice places to eat which we would never have found, he certainly knows the area.
All in all an excellent holiday and we will be booking for next year.

Excellent place!
Spent a week in this lovely house. Host was very helpful and accommodating. The house had everything we needed and was private yet only a short distance from the pool. The complex was excellent - nice and quiet, just what we were after! The welcome pack was a massive bonus as we arrived late to the house.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone who is after a relaxing break.
Overall, really enjoyed it and personally I don't think the photos do it justice!!

The best hotes we ever had!
James and Sylvia are incredible people, friendly, funny and very helpfull! The appartment was a little home for us, with many equipment inside and well located to discover Paphos in its different aspects.We already want to come back!!!
