it’s a diy man’s house absolutely hanging together
the house was really dirty we turned the front door to go in the stench of strong hash really bad whoever had it before us really must have had a great time the floors where sticky and they must have left windows open all day to get rid of the awful smell . so first night it was freezing outside and in as the flat was trying to heat up . the room s where grubby found an old chip down the side of bed in first floor as well as beer bottle lids down side of carpet and walls .
upstairs a hole in wall in one room and a beer can under bed other bedroom had a window that did not lock .. and really dirty .. unbelievably they have a toilet with no sink for washing hands other room had shower with blocked drain . bath had a rusty nail hanging out of the bath panel .. how this could ever pass covid tests is unbelievable . Booking.com advertising this as a 4 star property is unbelievable and to charge a bounty fee of £250 for breakages is a joke . you should have been talking £250 off my bill for having to stay in this dump

Clean, spacious, good beds with quality linen and big fluffy towels
The location is great. Just out of the city but walkable, food nearby and a short walk to the river
The bathroom facilities are very poor. Only one washbasin for everyone! The bathroom door didn’t shut and wasn’t a lock.
The lounge area needs more chairs as there is only one long bench

Det var ikke rent.
Vi overnattet ikke der, vi fikk et mye bedre og renere sted. Det var et supert sted.

The property is great for, large groups, there are four bedrooms with ten single beds spread across those rooms, ideal for our group of 7. There is a good kitchen area with the facilities you need for an overnight stay, there was even tea, coffee, sugar and milk sachets available. There were two toilets and two showers all clean and tidy with individual shower gels etc also plenty of toilet rolls available. Each bed had a towel and individual shower gel on. The location is excellent a 20 minute walk to Matthew Street, with plenty of on street parking at no cost. There was a lounge with a bench seat and a bar area with a table and chairs. As a group we thought it was an ideal property for our requirements.
Once you pay the property the full amount, you don’t hear off them, which I found worrying, however they answered my emails promptly. The other concern was not receiving check in details until the day of arrival, I understand why, however an email stating this maybe good as it is a worry and not an email saying, check in details will be sent ahead of your arrival, as when you have paid a large amount of money for a two night stay, and you hear nothing until the morning of arrival it is a concern.

It was a good location, easy walk into the city. It was nice to have communal spaces to all hang out. Loved the antique shop across the road, found some great jewellery!
The lounge needs more comfy chairs as you can't sit in a line on a straight sofa and chat as a large group. Also, as the markings have rubbed off the cooker we had to guess the hobs etc, some written instructions would be useful. But other than that everything was great!

Rooms were all a good size with good lighting and many power sockets. Good living spaces to socialise and good facilities for breakfast.
Something out of their control but would have liked more showers.
3.6
The size of the property with a variety of rooms. Large dining table and good bar area.
Who apartment felt very dirty, was dusty, poorly maintained. Living area very uncomfortable with sacks for cushions.
3.6
The beds were comfortable and the room with the bar was good.
The property is in a really rough area didn’t feel safe, it’s not walking distance to the city centre. The drains were blocked leaving a disgusting smell outside and the toilets kept blocking.

‘The Anfield’ at Gertrude Road, L4 -
Company owner, Mr Chris Enwright offered us the Anfield 3-bedroom, 2-level, 1-bathroom property (advising Anfield was more suitable than ‘The Docklands’ for 4 adults & 18month walking child). Early access to Anfield influenced our agreement to the change.
Scouse pies at the local Anfield bakery were FANTASTIC!
‘The Anfield’ at Gertrude Road, L4 - the Anfield 3-bedroom, 2-level, 1-bathroom, high-ceilings property was more suitable to a group of Football/soccer fans, being walking distance to Anfield Stadium.
Maintenance/Repairs: Kitchen needs flooring repair at rear of dining table; Bathroom shower water easily runs out onto floor when used, & needs shower curtain; Decor felt cold & dark.
DoN’t leave any valuables in car.

The place is absolutely disgraceful nothing like it looks in the pictures who ever has left good reviews must be apart of the Owership. I would rather stay in the car.

Ideal accommodation for our group size. Great value for money and brilliant layout for socialising. A little far from the city centre (20 minute walk) but a 5 minute uber/taxi so no real issue.
