The Location was very good!
The bathrooms toilet paper rack required some maintenance to be attached to the wall.

Central location.
We arrived at the bar one evening around 10-45pm - before we really got over the threshold of the bar the barman put his hand up and told us the bar was closed. Never even asked us if we were residents. We had left a noisy venue thinking we would get a quiet drink but that was not to be. We reported this to the reception but heard nothing back from them. Poor communications from staff to customer.

We love Liverpool and we love the Hard Days night hotel and the Beatle environment - staff work hard
The cut backs - less staff No evening meal facility in Blakes
No wine list to choose wine - now limited and the only way to order a bottle of wine was for the waitress to look in the fridge and read the labels !
The Hotel is looking tired !

The building was very nice, loved the old lift up the middle the big spiral staircase and all the beatles art work.
When we arrived the first thing the guy at the desk said to my wife was "what s the name " . I don t work in hospitality but that is not what I d say to a new guest. At the price we paid I hardly noticed. But if I d paid £170-200 I d have been more annoyed. The front bar was badly run. The young barman was slow and uninterested. When we came back at half ten pm . The tables were covered in empty glasses (like an under staffed weatherspoons) I asked for a double captain morgan's spiced rum. But was told they d run out. I was told there would probably be some in the other bar. But no offer to source it. None of these things are the end of the world. But could do with improving.

Absolutely love this hotel. Great location for shops and Mathew Street. Also getting discount on the parking was a plus. Can't fault this hotel. First time booking a room with a balcony and it was lovely! Bed is huge and comfortable.
One complaint this time.... Didn't see Eric, the man, the myth, the legend! Ha! He is a delight so was gutted he wasn't anywhere to be seen. Maybe next time though!

The breakfast service was like something from Faulty Towers

Very clean rooms , nice staff
We have stayed a few times this time there was no vodka in the bar and the breakfast wasn’t great under staffing . Not enough bread , fruit , cooked breakfast .
The toaster didn’t toast was just warm bread
The staff are all busy and really nice and wasn’t there fault . I feel if this isn’t sorted the hotel will loose customers

Great location, excellent staff and a nice breakfast.
The bed wasn’t ever so comfy but it was only for one night and nothing awful. That’s the only thing I’d change.

The room was cosy and the bed was comfy. The staff were friendly as always and helpful, checking in and out was straightforward.
Our room didn't have a great view but sometimes that's obviously to be expected. The TV remote did not work, but these are criticisms that didn't affect our stay.

We could hear machines working early morning.
Leak on radiator in bathroom, more staff required. Arrived at 3pm but room not ready until 4.30!

Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Overall theme of the hotel.
There was no room service.
Windows didn't open, so the room was stuffy without fresh air.
The Blake's restaurant wasn't good. Breakfast seemed manic and the food was okay at best. There wasn't flatware on our table. When asking for milk with our coffee, a member of staff just grabbed a partially used jug from a table where the couple had just left. Skipped breakfast the second morning for cleaner and higher quality experience.

I loved it all, especially the balcony, it was awesome , I will defo be staying there again for match days, it was perfect. Brilliant friendly staff on front desk also, couldn't do enough, such a warm welcome, thank you once again for an amazing stay.

Only the location
The temperature was very high in my room (sauna hot), and the windows don't open , when i reported the issue to the front desk, it took a very long time (more than two hours) to provide an AC unit .
and there was one of the staff members called Emily she was very rude and aggressive, and she kept ignoring me while i was talking to her even when i explained to her that my wife has a medical condition .
However, after three hours of talking, they provided the AC unit, but it wasn't cooling the room properly .
