Villa Kentavros is ideal for the people looking for a romantic and peaceful get-a-way, whilst being close to the amenities of Skopelos Town, only 10 minutes away by car.
It is the perfect spot for walkers, with easy access to many trails, as well as for painters who will appreciate the wonderful scenery from Pefkias hillside.

Villa Kentavros is one of three fully private villas set in their own grounds in the peaceful area of Pefkias, on the hillside above Skopelos Town. Kentavros has its own driveway and sits above Villa Arktos and next to villa Pegasus. It is surrounded by pine forests while it oversees the Skopelos harbor and the Aegean. The villa is completely private and not overlooked by the other two villas. Villa Kentavros is situated in the area of Pefkias, on the hillside above Skopelos Town (about 10 minutes by car) and enjoys fantastic views down the lush wooded valley to Skopelos harbor and the sea beyond.
Interior:
Entry into this simple but beautiful villa, is to the open plan living / dining room, with comfortable furnishings and French windows, leading out to the front terrace which looks down the wooded valley to Skopelos Town and the sea beyond. Off to one side of the living room is a well equipped kitchen, complete with dishwasher and a separate wc. French windows from here also lead to the front terrace with with a small dining table for alfresco meals. A doorway from the kitchen leads to a specious double bedroom and en suite wc/shower room with windows from which to admire the stunning views. This unique and enchanting house is entered into the sitting room which is open plan with the kitchen and a small w/c. This one-level house is decorated in rich colored walls, terra cotta floors and dark wood-beamed ceilings. The room is furnished with a comfortable sofa (which converts to a bed for extra sleeping for 2 persons) and two couches and tables with views to the harbor from the spacious windows.
The couches with soft big pillows add to the warm and comforting atmosphere. From this room there is a French door leading to a roomy terrace with the same lovely views and has access to the swimming pool. The spacious open-plan kitchen is located off the living room which is equipped with full size cooker/oven and all modern conveniences. There is a breakfast table, but most meals will probably be taken on the terrace which is furnished with an ample dining table and comfortable chairs.
A small w/c is located between the living room and the kitchen.

Staying in this villa was the perfect experience for our honeymoon. The villa offers privacy on the side of the mountain with an easy trip down to Skopelos town. There are several amazing hikes on the island and the location of this villa allows for easy access to other towns. Dimitris is a superb host and his hospitality is excellent. Words cannot explain the experience that this villa offers! Definitely recommend picking this villa for your next vacation!

The villa is set up high in the hills looking down on Skopelos town. It is quiet, and in a remote location but with a car you are quickly in the lively town below. The property was delightful, nestling in the hills overlooking Skopelos town. Stunning view
If you’re intending to rent a super luxurious villa this might not be your cup of tea. However, we absolutely loved this quirky villa. We had a couple of small issues at the beginning but Dimitris and his team put them right immediately. Nothing was too much of an effort for them. The views overlooking Skopelos town were absolutely stunning and the pool was lovely. At first glance, it seems to be in the middle of nowhere but that’s deceptive as it’s within easy drive of the main town, as well as the beaches in the south. We will be recommending this place to our friends and hope to visit again in the future.

Stunning location beautiful Villa just perfect
We have had the most wonderful week all helped by our very accommodating holiday owner Dimitris who helped us organise our trip over to the island from Skiathos (it is easy) as well as car hire and has kept in touch to make sure we are enjoying our stay. Our home for the week has been just perfect, the pool is clean, all the facilities are so easy it feels so at home from the minute you walk in. We have spent most evenings drinking lovely cold wine and chilling on the balcony that overlooks the town of Skopelos. Kentravos is in a perfect and quiet location that is so peaceful and relaxing, we don’t want to leave. This island is a must visit for everyone. Getting around is easy meaning that you can visit a new beach everyday. All the beaches are clean with warm clear blue water, sun beds and beachside bars and tavernas where you can sit right on the waters edge to eat an evening meal and watch the sun go down. We love Skopelos, we love Villa Kentravos and we will be back. Thank you for a week that has been heavenly

Stunning views and secluded location
We absolutely loved our stay. The villa was perfect for a couple, but would also fit more people. Our favourite things were definitely the view and privacy. The living room area is really big with plenty space for sitting, tv with some english channels, books you can borrow for a beach, wifi etc. You will appreciate working air conditioning in the bedroom as well as fully equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the swimming pool that was deep enough to jump into. The island itself was absolutely stunning. Great beaches (Hovolo our favourite), fantastic food and shops open till late (which was often a problem for us when renting a self catering villa). The owner was nice enough to let us stay a few hours longer, which was very helpful considering limited flights and ferries. The only thing we would advise is to rent a car you'd feel confident enough to park downhill on reverse with.

Great little cottage
My Husband and I stayed here for 1 week at the beginning of October, 2017.
Since this was the off-season, we were so happy to have this self-service cottage as lots of amenities on the Island were closed. Beware - ferry service and weather are unpredictable during this time of year!
Communication with Dimitris through the planning stages was really great. He was a huge help. He has a property manager, Kosmas, who picked us up from the Ferry and also checked on us once during our stay to change towels and clean the pool.
The views from the patio were really lovely. We cooked many meals in the kitchen and generally enjoyed the space.
We found the bed to be too uncomfortable so we slept on the couches in the living room. We found most beds in Europe to be like this throughout our Vacation so this is a personal preference thing. Also, the pool was very cold so we could not use it. I think if there was a solar blanket used it would keep out the debris and keep the water warmer.
I would stay here again and give it 5 stars if we could have used the pool.

Peaceful bliss
If complete relaxation in a peaceful hillside location on a beautiful Greek island is your idea of a holiday then this is for you ... the villa has a rustic charm about it, but has everything you will need for your stay.
Dimitris was great , checking on us by phone. We were met from the ferry by Tomas who helped us with car hire , and organised a guide to our villa.
The villa location is perfect! We could easily drive into skopelos town, 10 minutes to the beach in opposite direction, just up the road to a lovely taverna (love Mrs Fotini) and half an hour to Glossa.
My only complaint...we only booked one week !!!

Slice of paradise!
We chose to spend our honeymoon at Villa Kentavros and it was the best decision we made (other than getting married!)! :-) it was so beautiful and romantic! We loved that it was quiet and peaceful. All you could hear were the goats on the hills and the insect songs. We enjoyed the pool every day, and backgammon on the beautiful terrace with a view. Dimitris was extremely helpful and welcoming. He helped us rent a car, rent a boat and enjoy the island to its fullest. We especially recommend Taverna Fotini, which is a 5 minute walk down the road. Mrs. Fotini is a great cook and a very sweet lady! We will really miss this special place and hope to be back soon! Thank you for everything, Dimitris!

We had a great holiday in Skopelos and a lovely stay at Pegasus cottage. We were particularly impressed with the level of comunication with Dimitris and his team on the island and nothing seemed to be to much trouble. Our cottage was very clean and well looked after and the cleaning service excellent. There were great beaches (loved limnonari) and tavernas very nearby for those lazy days with just a book. Good restuarants (Rodi and Perivoli were our favourites-must book) all in all after the hustle and bustle of the UK this was a great holiday break. Issue with the wasps but am assured it was an excepional year for the blighters. Would I go back, one year definatly. Mike & Alison

Skopelos – and particularly Villa Kentavros – is heaven on earth.
When we planned to stay here for a 2-week holiday we were a little concerned if it might be a bit boring, for this island is really small and we used to travel a lot. But the opposite was the case. At the end we agreed that we should have had another week in order to visit our favourite places for a second time. The smell of the pines and herbes, which we scented already on boat at our night trip to Skopelos. The extraordinary beauty of the nature, the bays, the town, the monasteries. The marvelous views, the peace and privacy, which we found at Villa Kentavros made us most grateful that a place like this does still exist. Every day we were staying at “our” Villa, enjoying the Pool, relaxing, reading, simply “being”. And we also spent some time discovering the island with a rented scooter. Dimitris made all this possible for us, organizing every detail for us reliably, giving us all information we need. Thank you so much, Dimitris.

A little Eden, Villa Kentavros
The Holidays started many weeks before my wife and I went to Skopelos with our two yungest kids, 6 and 9 years. We found this fantastic looking house on the slopes of the Hills facing Skopelos City, and I took contact to Dimitris Bessilas. From first contact Mr. Bassilas was helpfull beyond imagination, which we appreciated a lot, and made us confident about renting a house from a complete stranger. He even helhed us renting a car from a local shop. On our arrival on Skopelos harbour, we were met by Bessilas assistent who had allso arranged the hired car. We were escorted to the carhire office to make the papers and then we were guidet outside the City and up the Hills. Even though the Suzuki 4x4 Jeep did not have much space for suitcases, were very satisfied with the cloth roof that could be foldet off, and the steep driveway down to villa Kentavros was no match for the 4wheel drive and low range gear. Even though one could drive a normal car to the house, we were very glad having it on our tours arround the island, many of these on dirt roads.
When we arrived at the house we were immediately embrased with its lovely colours and the breathtaking scenery of the Hills covered with the lush green pinetrees. The house with its lovely interior made a great base for our exploring Skopelos. It was perfect for 2 kids in the livingroom and 2 grownups in the bedroom. We enjoyed eating out on all the fantastic seafood restaurants, but we allso enjoyed the kitchenfacilities at several occasions with fish from the lokals. We absolutely loved our house in the Hills, the fantastic beaches with its clear waters and wide variety of wildlife, the old forests with fresh herbs sending their sents out in the dry warm air, the pool at the house for a refreshing morning dip, thanks Skopelos, thanks My friend Dimitris. Perfect
My boyfriend and I stayed at Kentavros Villa for 1 week at the end of July. It's a really special place; stunning views, a beautiful cottage inside and out and lovely outside areas and pool. It's so peaceful and relaxing yet only a 10 minute drive to Skopelos Town. We loved the sound of the goats in the surrounding hills, the walks near the house (to pick fresh herbs), BBQing fish for dinner (from the fishmonger on the road in to town) and star gazing.
The owner Dimirtis was a pleasure to deal with and did everything he could to ensure we had everything we needed.
We'll definitely be coming back to stay here again.

Vacation as a Dream
Regina and I (Andreas, from Wuppertal, Germany) come to Skopelos for two weeks and it was like a dream. The Villa was as it discribe in the Internet or better. We enjoy special the time after breakfirst (around 11AM). Sitting there with the view to Skopelos, reading a book, sometime swimming in the lovely pool, that's 1000% Holiday! This Holiday Flat is 100% advisable.

Marriage Proposal
Thank you for the amazing holidays! Usually the internet lies and that’ s why we were very cautious, but fortunately here they don’t exaggerate a bit, the villa “Pegasus” is like a dollhouse with a breathtaking view. The welcome basket with the fresh fruits was the better way to start our holidays! Our 7 days there, were like at home away from home. The villa is 10 minutes (by car ) from the port so we were very close to the heart of the beautiful Skopelos.
P.S. I have to share with you a very personal moment, when George and I sat by the pool, it was late afternoon, he proposed to me. As you understand for us the romantic villa Pegasus will always have a precious place in our life!

Holidays at Kentavros villa
When we arrived, me and my husband, we were very anxious to see if the villa was as described. It was great to see that not only it was all true but another thing that made for us the difference was the fact that it had a personal touch, making us feel like home. Our stay at the villa was really worth it while we had a great time! The view was spectacular being able to enjoy the scenery of the hills and the sea beyond. It is placed at a very nice spot where you are completely private. We loved the walks around the area which is full of flowers, and trees of all types. The best feeling was that of being close to the nature, and yet so close and so away from it all. Sure we'll come back!
