Beautiful, clean, well appointed villa. Even in the rain it did not disappoint! Enjoyed the first week with friends and the second week with family. It was perfect to have private spaces and fantastic evening conversations together. It was a challenge to find the villa the first evening (Waze seemed to be the best map app). Thank you to Alfio for his patience when we were so lost the first evening and then calling a nearby restaurant so we could get dinner. The young adults enjoyed the pool and lounging in the chairs. Haven’t had a good cup of coffee since we left!!! Hopefully we will not wait so long to return to Sicily 🇮🇹💜

We stayed in this property for a week. Amazing and breath taking views on the sea side, perched on a cliff edge! All rooms have air conditioning and all are en-suite too. However, there were a few things which they could improve. 1/ if you checkin late, there is a late charge which is not mentioned anywhere as far as I know. We could only arrive after 10PM local time due to situations out of our control and we were charged 30 Euros. 2/ The directions to the house - it is quite complicated and involves driving through a very narrow road and into a private estate protected by a gate. We were not told about this and caused some confusion to get in and open the gate etc. 3/ There is only 1 TV in the house and that is really too small. 4/Some bathroom doors have no locks and one one them locked me out from inside. 5/ The gym is pretty much useless and there is no useful equipment and weights for a serious workout. 6/ There is no microwave in the kitchen which I consider a basic need. 7/The wifi speed is so low we were better off using the phone network most time. It went down to a few KBs in the night. 8/ The euro converters won't work here - you would need the Italy specific converters with the 3 pins in one line.
But the location and the views are really breathtaking and would compensate for these shortcomings.

We had an amazing time here and everyone was so helpful to us. We arrived late at night and they were there to greet us and had gone food shopping for us at our request. They even took us to grocery store the days we didn’t have transportation. The pool was a nice feature. Only disappointed thing was the access to our beach was ruined by a storm and we weren’t notified of that until we got there. But we still were able to get there by walking the street. Also for 8 adults I wish there were more outdoor lounge furniture. Only 3 lounge chairs and one was unusable. But overall it was an amazing stay and we enjoyed it very much. Very clean and very spacious! I recommend very highly:) i am still dreaming of our view!

Once again, best spot in the area
Third time at Villa Mamma Gina, not going to be the last. The views, the comforts of the house, closeness to the airport, all pluses to a really gorgeous location

Very nice villa
We had a nice vacation, but unfortunately the owner asked us to change dates also we had booked the villa at least 6 months before. We were obliged to find a new villa for the second week and no negotiations were possible also we were 14 people with booked and confirmed flights

Perfect
I will miss the gentle wave crushing at night from my window putting me to sleep, I will miss the view of Mount Etna waking me up in the morning and wading in the pool in the afternoon overlooking the Mediterranean.
Beautiful house and location, I will do my best to come back next year

A superior stay
Our stay at this villa was really superior, either for the villa itself and for the unforgettable view over the sea and the Etna, really something special. Everyone at the villa was helpful and kind, and we will come back there for sure. Ciao Giuseppe from Nikki and Andy!

Great villa, great view
We stayed at this villa for 6 nights and it really was a wonderful and unforgettable stay. The view of the sea and the Etna is something incredible and the house itself highly comfortable and elegant, perfect for children and grown ups. We recommend it and we will be back there very soon!

Simply stunning
If you want something magical then this is it. We were a party of 12 arriving from as far as Australia and we were all overwhelmed by how beautiful this place is. The house is gorgeous. The setting phenomenal. The terrace and pool could not have a better view and the two private beaches on either side of the villa reserved only for residents of this small community were a surprise bonus. I have never stayed in a perfect property and there were a few minor things that could improve this, but I wouldn’t want to mention them and detract from what is overall an amazing place. Giovanni, Sebastiano and Donatello were all very helpful and communication was superb. The main problem with the property is that some day you have to leave!

Not really luxury Beautiful view poor internet poor ikea kitchen poor quality kitchen
We stayed here for 15 days to the tune of over 13 K USD The house is nice. The view is unbelievable. The kitchen is an ikea glass stove that you can only use certain pots on and there were few of them. The internet is limiited and if you fill all the bedrooms it is gone in a day. It really never worked well at all for us so we bought the unlimited data plan from at&t. The furnishings are old. There were cane chairs that have been left on the terrace nightly and 3 came unglued in the corner ( all in the same exact place)while people were just sitting in them and the owner accused us of not sitting in them correctly and charged us 100 euro each for repAir of old chairs that had been glued ( we have pictures) The owner said that he had grown up in the house with those chairs and weighed more than my husband at that time so it had to be our fault. I think old chairs break and given that he is at least mid forties or early 50’s those chairs are old. I think they saw Americans (although our party was german and Italian too)and decided to take advantage. The beds are firm and comfortable but the pillows are like cement bags that have been wet then hardened and the towels and sheets are Motel 6 quality plus they leave only one set of towels per person. The plates in the kitchen are pretty but the rest of the supplies are ikea or garage sale quality. I bought a very cheap set of steak knives so I could cut meat and a chopping knife as they had only serrated bread knives, they did bring over chopping knives when asked. The air conditioning works well although you are charged for going over a certain amount of electricity used. I would not rate this as a luxury villa. It is a queen Elizabeth front with a Mary Jane back. I do not recommend this house for the price. We have stayed is some wonderful Lucury VBRO villas and this was not one. If you do stay ther I suggest you walk through and establish the quality and condition of each and every piece of furniture or appliance. I suspect these chairs may have come undone wher glued prior to our arrival but the previuus guests did not tell the owner like we did, or maybe they did
Giovanni with mamma Italy tours and the guys that work there were wonderful. Giovanni set up a wonderful tour for my son to propose to his girlfriend it could not have been better. He also catered a birthday dinner for me and he worked out the kinks that occurred there. I recommend Mamma Italy tours highly.
