Exelent stay and very good breakfast

We were very warm welcomed and had a very pleasant stay. We enjoyed the hospitality, very clean rooms and exceptional breakfast.

Must All Communication Be Written?

As I requested before arriving I was given a quiet lower floor room, bu see below

1. I did not having to spend significant time time arguing to get what i had requested well in advance, namely a quiet lower floor. The young man assistant helping his mother? who seemed the really be in change, kept insisting, repeatedly that I should cancel my Booking reservation because they had put me in an upper floor room when I was going to take ground floor room. Even the older woman told him that I was correct and he was mistaken, but he kept telling me and showing me my reservation and his "proof" in Google Translate what he wanted me to do and why. After several minutes of arguing he finally relented after looking at my request in booking for the second or third time! The woman was quite patient wit the pushy young man. 2. The enclosed garage in the same building is a very secure place for motorcycles and is to be greatly appreciated. Before storing my motorcycle in the garage, I agreed to have it unlocked for me to leave the next morning at 9 a.m, but needed to go to buy compulsory motorcycle insurance and that would return immediately thereafter. Upon my return, the young man opened the garage door. Because I had realized that I had a Booking.com reservation the next day in Erzincan, where I am now, that I would need to leave earlier for the 8 hour trip plus 1-2 hours for the Georgia to Türkiye border formalities. Therefore I told the young man that he needed to open the garage at 8 a.m., not 9 a.m. Not only did I translate this, I showed it to him on two hands; a whole hand with five fingers, and the other with the middle 3 fingers. I did this before entering the garage and again as he was locking it. He agreed both times. At just before 8 a.m. I was packed and standing at the garage door. At 8:10 a.m. I called the number on the rolling marqui that lists the Hotel name and phone number, but no answer. A resident of a next door paint store answered my knock, came out and subsequently called the woman who arrived at about 8:40 a.m.

Full equipment kitchen near sleeping rooms.

High humidity in a wooden house with 3 beds. Small rooms. Shower without curtain and close to the toilet. After showering, everything was wet.

Incredibly comfortable room, with the most amenities we’ve had so far for the price (private toilet, excellent shower, lovely large room with big window and comfortable bed, slippers and toiletries provided). Excellent base to explore the wild and fascinating Javakheti.

Perfect stay!

Hotelroom is very spacious, comfortable bed, clean sheets, smart tv, clean towels and it even has a kettle and aan mini fridge. It’s basically perfect, it has everything you need and want. There is a common kitchen downstairs that you can use. I think this is the best price quality hotel I’ve ever stayed in!

great value and very friendly owner

What a great place. Modern, fresh shower, comfortable beds, linen, closet, night lamps, fridge and kettle. Common kitchen where you can cook and eat. Towels were changed and cleaning offered. Everything you need, shops nearby, quiet in the night. Very friendly owner who even offered installing a USB port on my motorbike. Quick communication. Thank you, thank you. We will happily come again if we are in the area.

Room perfectly clean and modern. Shower had a curtain (not so common in Georgia). Small lamp near the bedroom. Good place to eat is restaurant "Kavkaz" (some russian is needed).

I had decided to stay an entire day in Ninotsminda to relax during my cycling trip and watch sport on my phone... but wifi didn't work that day (it seems that it was not only in the hotel). Room at the groundfloor is not perfect, but the street is very quiet (as the city).

Comfortable and clean rooms

After crossing Ninotsminda and seeing the building, I was not too enthusiastic, but inside, I was surprised at how well the rooms are renovated and decorated. It is very clean, the beds are excellent. Recommended!

Exceptionally clean and comfortable. The hosts are very flexible. We could get a breakfast at 7 a.m., and it was very good.

The room was on ground floor with the sidewalk just outside the window. But there were courtains and the window had the option of being opened just a crack. So not a problem really, the street was quiet at night.

A great place to explore Javakheti from!

We came up from Yerevan on a Friday after work, arrived late, and the host was able to check us in all the same. We were impressed with the size of the rooms, the comfort of the beds, and how quiet it was. We got the best nights of sleep we've had after months in the city. We explored parts of Javakheti National Park and neighboring protected areas, along with Akhalkalaki and its historical castle. The hosts also went out of their way to help us get paracetamol for a particularly bad sunburn. Breakfast, which we had both mornings, was a wonderful traditional spread. We particularly loved some sweets stuffed with local jam. Just amazing! In addition, everyone in town was kind and friendly. We highly recommend Hotel Sonya and Ninotsminda to anyone interested in seeing a spectacular corner of Georgia with unique culture.

The bed was amazing! I had the best night of sleep here in a long time. Wifi was decent and parking is easy along the street. Looks a bit funny from the outside of the building but you won't be disappointed. The host also speaks English :)

Paid in cash instead of with card. Just something to be aware of that's all.
