Price
It It was smaller than expected. The table did not sit straight. The outlets were falling off. The TV did not have a channel listings. The lighting was not good as some of the lights did not have bulbs in them. No clock in room. No phone.

location
The room was very smelly. Cigarettes' I believe. I asked to move once because it was definitely a smoking room and the ac was hanging off the wall. The next room smelt better however I was contemplating going to get an air freshner.

Outdoor pool was clean and inviting.
Handicapped parking was used by some cars without handicapped placard or disabled person plates and ramps were occupied by cars, construction/painter truck, objects or people (using space as a stoop or porch). Groups of people were loud, smoking skunk-spray-smelling like marijuana that permeated into room, discarded food, trash, and small charcoal grills obstructed walkways. Room was in disrepair, a partial smoke detector was the only "decor" of the room, bedspread had holes melted through it, no hangers, TV remote had worn out buttons, furniture was in questionable condition/disrepair, curtain was too narrow and too long and only partially hung by a few hooks, air conditioner had vent broken/completely missing, was loud but functioned. Bathroom was the best part and cleanest space of the room.

carpet was dirty and stained, bed cover had burn holes, chair upholstery was torn and bathroom floor and shower had tar or some similar spots, Room also smelled of smoke.

the pool was the only clean place on the property
there was blood on our door, when we walked in the room we pulled back the sheets to find tons of black hair all over the beds, crumbs on top of both comforters. HUGE splatter of some kind above the bed on the right going clear up the wall and onto the ceiling. The carpets looked like a murder scene and hadn’t been cleaned in years.

This is actually probably the worst hotel stay I've ever had, but it was convenient to the highway.
Numerous homeless people hanging around.
Lots of people apparently living in the hotel like a drug house.
No secondary locks on the doors.
Loud partying "guests" who got so belligerent, we had to literally call the police.
Complained to the front desk FOUR times, before they finally made the people go in their rooms at midnight.
My daughters felt scared and threatened, and I had 2 guys follow me up the stairs, angry at me for saying they needed to keep it down.
Apparently homeless lady living out of her car, repeatedly yelling at her toddler children to get in the back and go to sleep late at night.
Police visited another room the next night, then stayed at the property for quite a while.
Hardest beds you can imagine.
Clumps of hair on the beds when we got there.
Don't even look under the beds.
I ended up with a random extra charge on my card from the hotel with no explanation.
I actually went to the trouble of contacting the corporate offices of "America's Best Value" and was told the motel was a privately owned franchise, and there was nothing they could do.
Frankly the place needs to be shut down.

Bed was very comfortable. Shower was nice.
I booked through booking.com. Upon check-in I was charged $69.00 for the room. My friend who did not have a reservation was only charged $58.00 for the same type of room.

The bed was comfortable.
I booked through Booking.com. I paid a certain amount for the room. After checking in and paying a friend also checked in and paid (did not use booking.com), he got a lower rate. That really surprised me.
