This is the worst motel we have ever stayed in.

The room was spacious

It was dirty (dirt had been swept to the edge of the room), the bathtub somehow had a ring despite being outfitted only with a shower fixture, there was NO wifi, the sleeping area was for some reason on a raised platform, which we each tripped on several times, the hotel staff was rude and grumpy, and there were people hanging out smoking drinking in the parking lot all night.

Exceedingly disappointed in a poor facility in a very nice area. Visit Bend and Sunriver but don’t stay at this property

Only that it was in Bend.

Open electrical wires in kitchen. Hood over stove not connected with loose wires. Electricity pulsed on and off. Bathroom tub had no drain or spigot. No dishes, utensils, or pots and pans in “kitchenette.” No coffee maker in room. No coffee or hot water at front desk. Disappointing and not adequate. Would like to have my money back. Never said this about any other Booking property. And I’ve been to a lot (Genius Level 3 a while ago). Don’t go there. By the way, room initially only had one set of towels.

Disappointing

The price was nice. The bed was comfortable.

The floors were very dirty. My feet turned black when I walked barefoot. We ended up buying sandals to wear in the room. The facilities were "clean' but in severe need of repair. The spigot in the bathtub was very loose, and moved noticeably in my hand.

I won't be back - ever.

Nothing. It was terrible and I couldn't get out of there fast enough!

No towels. No cups. No coffee. No ice. The floor was sticky. The tub and walls are dirty. No lamps. The pictures looked nothing like the room we were put in. Awful. I won't be staying here in the future. The whole experience was unnerving and felt sketchy. The manager said if I didn't have towels that I should have come to the office and gotten some. I realized we didn't have towels at 11pm and didn't feel like getting completely dressed and waking them up. He then acted digusted when I said we were leaving and wouldn't be using the shower.

Bad

The location.

The room should not have been rented out. Mold in the bathroom, the toilet was not cleaned, and there is definitely water damage to the floor in the room, there are parts of the floor that feel like it is going to cave in!

Pleasant no major issues

No stairs, single floor facility, pull up with vehicle directly to room

Base of bed metal gaurd keep kicking accidentally, really annoying and in the way. No washcloths first night. Only one little trashcan in bathroom. Shower/bathtub faucets need upgraded or replaced

Not worth it.

Comfortable bedding

Shower head broken. There were two disposable cups in bathroom sink. Had no choice than to use ine to take a cup shower. No Iron.

I liked the location it was in. I liked how it was in town.

How the staff treated my friend and I. They were not very understanding and kind of pushed us off. It also seemed that their main focus was money, instead of customer satisfaction.

This place met my needs!

We just needed an overnight stay that was close to a local venue. The Royal Gateway was a good inexpensive place for our needs. I got a good night’s sleep in a clean bed and had some pleasant conversations with the woman running the motel.

The place is an older standard roadside motel probably built mid century 1900’s. It could use a little facelift, but it was fine for our short stay.

Bad

No coffee, a microwave but no place to plug it in, refused to give clean towels, barged into my room at exactly check-out time yelling at me to get out and threatened to call the cops
