The staff was awesome & friendly. The pool was fun.
The only complaint I have is the room was too dark. One light and then two lamps just didn’t give enough light.
3.2
Didn't have the breakfast. Only contention. Not well supplied
The room smelled horribly like animals. Facility though clean was very worn and dated. Beds hard and uncomfortable.
3.2
Location was excellent
The beds are so hard and uncomfortable.
3.2
not as good as most places and few choices
room smelled musty

We enjoyed the hotel being within close walking distance to the event we traveled for
We didn’t enjoy some of the staff due to how they checked us in and handled things
3.2
Enjoyed the swimming pool which was an unexpected bonus. there was even a small Jacuzzi. Close to downtown with selection of takeaways and restaurants.
The weather! It was snowing in the mountains in June, so had to stop camping and find a hotel!
3.2
The hallway on the 3 rd floor smelled like marijuana or smoke eventhough it was non smoking. It didn’t smell in the room however.

We recently stayed at the Super 8 by Wyndham in Bend, Oregon during a visit for medical appointments. Overall, we had a decent experience. The hotel was reasonably priced and conveniently located close to downtown Bend, Old Mill District, and restaurants as well as our medical providers. The staff were very friendly and check-in was quick and easy. The coffee served with the free breakfast was delicious and the breakfast options were decent, though it consisted mainly of cold items like cereal, muffins, and fruit.
We stayed in the ADA room which was equipped with grab rails in the tub/shower and around the toilet as well as a shower chair in the bathtub. The best part of the bathroom was the slider for the handheld shower that allowed for a truly hands-free shower while sitting in the shower chair. I am definitely getting one of those installed at home! The Queen size bed was firm but comfortable, and the room amenities such as the coffee/tea maker, mini refrigerator, microwave, toiletries, and hairdryer were all appreciated. Free WiFi and onsite parking were also provided.
Sadly, our schedule did not allow us to make use of the inviting looking indoor pool and hot tub.
At the front of our hall, near the pool, was a room with ice and vending machines. I received a bit of sticker shock by the $1.75 price for a candy bar, but then again, I don't really know what a candy bar costs these days.
Unfortunately, there were some negatives as well. The hotel had a strong smell of marijuana on our hall, despite the no smoking without penalty of steep cleaning fee disclaimer we had to sign at check-in. Moreover, our room had an overpowering musty urine nursing home smell that we could not eliminate even after opening the window to air it out for several hours. Overall, while the Super 8 by Wyndham in Bend had some positives, the funky smells detracted from the experience.

Loved "Liz" from the front counter. She saved me from canceling my reservation, told me about the new breakfast options, and was totally friendly and welcoming. She also noticed my number was registered in Wyndham Rewards and attached it for me because booking.com did not. You owe our stay to her. And our next 😀... oh, also loved the little pancake machine and how cold the milk was for the cereal.
Really wanted one of the bagels you had out with breakfast, but there was no toaster. Our room smelled - stale, to say the least. I'm not sure what it was, but it was weird and bothered us all.
3.2
The water was hot. And the bathroom stocked. The room was a good size.
The wifi was slow. The hot tub jets were very aggressive. I felt like I was in a washing machine. The breakfast had poor options. The muffins were stale. The only offered muffins oatmeal yogurt juice coffee and tea. I mean they did nothing special it being Christmas when we stayed.

We know that this is a budget motel but the first room had a terrible odor that you could not stay in. When the front desk moved us we had an OK room but we had two homeless guys living in an old tent right outside our window. The advertised breakfast is false advertising. Coffee, mini muffins, yogurt and packaged hard boiled eggs. Worst Continental Breakfast I have ever had at a motel. I feel bad for the homeless in Bend unfortunately we would no go back due to homeless sleeping in the halls and back exit of the motel.
3.2
It was quiet and a good stop on our trip. Breakfast was simple but worked for the value.
Bed was too hard so I didn't get any sleep. Lotion being offered along with other toiletries would have been nice. Parking lot needs to be resurfaced because the deep cracks aren't easily visible at night and I nearly tripped a couple of times.

the hotel was not very clean. the breakfast was a joke and very poor valve for the rate we paid

We really enjoyed the Pool and spa
area. They had a outdoor patio that sat off of pool area. Our room was a good size.
Breakfast was not what we expected. No milk options at all. Our room was non-smoking but had an awful cigarette smell that we had to leave the window open and leave for a few hours for it to go away and it still really did not.

Clean and friendly

The breakfast and coffee was good. Convince
The safety of mt room, while I was there many of my belongings came up missing when I was away from room. Reported it to front desk, they watched the cameras and key checked. Said no one else had accessed my room.
3.2
convenient location
good price
Pillows were so horrible that it made sleeping difficult.
3.2
The location was perfect for my visit! I brought my dog up to spend the weekend with my daughter for her birthday which worked out really well. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The rate was higher than normal because of a festival that was happening in town. I would have given a higher rating on Value if I had the regular rate. There was also a lot of conversation in the hallways outside my door because the room I was in was across from the housekeeping supply area. I was warned about potential noise from the breakfast room, however these voices were all speaking Spanish and from the peep hole I could see they were housekeeping staff.
3.2
Rooms were very clean the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable great location

The lady that checked us in was nice.
People in our room (squatters)
Wouldn’t refund the whole amount because they could have got someone else in the room since everywhere was sold out.
Felt unsafe the whole stay and didn’t get any sleep cuz I thought people were going to come into our room.
3.2
it was close and convenient to all things.
NO parking when I arrived. Had to park in what appeared to be an auto parts store parking lot right next to hotel.
