House was clean and kitchen well appointed. Convenient walk to most attractions, Street was unfortunately very well traveled by commercial vehicles so noise was an issue. . Bathrooms were a little awkward in their arrangement and difficult to maneuver at times.

The place was conveniently located and very clean. Communication with the rental team was easy. The beds were comfortable (except the pillows). It’s a loud area but eventually it got quieter.
They don’t provide beach towels which was inconvenient for us.

Sweet little place with all the needed comforts. Easy walk to everything in town. May be time for a deep clean and paint touch ups, but overall we enjoyed it immensely (and we were 3 generations ranging from 15 to 77).

We had a great stay here. The unit was very clean and nicely laid out. One of our party has slight mobility issues, so having a place to stay that is such a short walk from Front/Crescent street was super helpful. There are only two steps up from street level to get into the unit.
The bedrooms and bathrooms were small but functional. Having two bathrooms for our group was great. The beds and bedding were comfortable.
We stayed during the low season so the noise levels in the unit weren't too bad, but I do think it would be rowdier in the summertime.
The property manager, Veronica, was responsive and very helpful. Our boat to Catalina was canceled due to weather, so she worked with us to update our check in time and gave us some flexibility on checkout day as well. Would definitely stay here again.

The girl who helps you is very nice and flexible. I enjoyed my stay and it was clean and beautiful, I worried it wouldn’t be like how it is in the photos but it is.

The location of this house was great close to town. The overwhelming smell of weed however hits you the moment you walk into the unit and gets worse as the stay goes. For those traveling with teens or honestly just adults that don’t enjoy that smell is very distracting and can ruin your stay. I know it shares walls with others but the smell can ruin a vacation especially a family one

Walking distance to everything!
I herd they were remodeling and it then it will be even better! We had a wonderful time!

Property itself was ok. The closeness to the harbor was great but it came at a high cost of loud traffic and pedestrian noises throughout day and night. The golf carts' noise and burn gas smell always present completely killed our vacation mood, such that we'll never go back until golf carts are electric.

Catalina Getaway
I would have to say that the stay was great overall. As someone that has traveled and backpacked through Europe, hostel beds were more comfortable. One piece of advice for an air b n b owner would be to invest in a very good set of beds. To go on vacation and sleep terribly is an awful thing to recover from. This place was great and very clean but the beds killed our backs.

Great Stay
The rental process of this house was so simple. Our interaction with the owner was nice and easy It is easily accessible on foot from the Catalina Express. House is in a nice area that felt safe. Clarissa is the busiest street in all of Avalon, so there was more noise than my last trip when I stayed in a hotel facing Crescent (Front) St. It was perfect for our needs as it has a full kitchen, although it is a small, true galley kitchen. The only real negative is that it needs some updating. The tile floor has dirty grout that needs some TLC, the chairs and couch are outdated, uncomfortable, and feel dirty. Overall our stay was great.

Enjoyed the location
Great location
Easy walk to town and beaches.
The flat was aptly furnished. Beds were comfortable.
The pictures made the apartment look bigger, it was comfortable enough for four people. Shower was really nice.
Thank you!

Okay but won't stay again
Loud street, terrible beds, entire place not clean at all..dirty window sills, floor had food on it, towels smelled badly, overall very run down and seemed not cared for....the owner checked in to see if things were okay but there was really just too much that was bad to even mention anything. The only good thing was the proximity to town and beaches. Next time will choose Hamilton Cove condos.

Amazing location
we loved this house. So clean and location was excellent! Only 3 issues we had was 1) room (right in front of shower) had a hole in the middle of matress. 2) 2 rooms are only separated by a partician. 3) TVs only had 1 channel n came with VCRs. Other than this, this house is perfect n would love to stay here again. The Owner was also amazing!!!!

Perfect Stay with your family!
This was the perfect spot for a family getaway to Catalina. I stayed here with my fiancé, parents, and dog. We had a wonderful time here. The beds (and couch) were extremely comfy, the kitchen amenities were perfect, there were TVs in every room. The house came with a fresh vase of flowers, board games galore, and fun movies to watch! The house was decorated with fun beachy decor. It was so close, walking distance to the main drag of restaurants and shops. The host was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this property!

Good location!
Good location for a typical Catalina vacation rental. Served my family well as a nice place to come back to at night! Two bedroom that can be easily be divided into a decent three bedroom with built in room dividing wall. We liked that two adjoining bedrooms could be opened to one for the kids. Would stay here again.

Excellent Location but...
Clean sponges, napkins, extra towels only had two washcloths for four people for three days should be provided for dish washing. Insufficient cooking and eating cookware and dishes.
Significant safety issue with broken coffee pot handle when we arrived. (Someone almost burned themselves. Floors and cupboards were not sufficiently cleaned.

It's a Base Camp, not a 5-star hotel room
You stay on the first floor, tenant stays on second floor. Occasionally heard tenant walking above. House was as expected for a vacation rental. If you have high expectations, reevaluate your expectations--this is a "base camp" for your vacation, not your house. Since no A/C it can get warm in the afternoons/early evening even with the doors and windows open and fans on thanks to the humidity. House sits on a major road for the island, so has traffic. Beds are soft, very soft (we like firm beds). House is cleaned before arrival and after departure. Has plenty of kitchenware. Not enough accessible electrical outlets for today's plugged-in families -- bring a power strip. Has beach toys (pails, shovels, etc), chairs, and other equipment available for use. Property manager was very accommodating and worked with us to have house ready for our early arrival (other guests left day before us) and allowed us to leave our luggage there until we could catch our boat (an hour after check-out time).

Great Stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Being right down town in walking distance to everything was great! Everything was provided, linens, kitchen supplies even beach chairs and toys for kids. They had movies and board games. It was clean and cozy. We would absolutely stay there again!

New to Catalina
We found the condo quite suitable for our needs. Plenty of and comfortable sleeping space. Loved the closeness to the village. Would go back in the future.
