Location and history of the property - belonged to a famous Sicilian artist. High decorated ceilings and old furniture gave it real character.
Nothing I didn't like

Great place to stay, feels like home but at the same time super cool and stylish. Wonderful host Claudio reserved a parking spot for us and shared his favourite places to see in Palermo. The apartment is beautifully furnished, bed sheets truly divine and the kitchen lacked nothing.
Nothing to change

This is a wonderful, quiet apartment within a short walking distance of the city center. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. Access to the balcony was wonderful in the late afternoon. The hosts provided several recommendations, including a wonderful restaurant on the next block.
Everything was great!

Communicating w the host was very easy. He was so responsive and answered questions immediately. Location was absolutely fantastic- steps away from piazza castelnuovo, but on a quiet street. Perfect! Kitchen amenities were fine and washing machine for clothes read a bonus! Claudio was great.
A spare lighter for the stove and a cutting board for bread would be nice additions. That’s it!

great neighborhood, very quiet. The interior of the apartment, furnishings, history of the furniture and painting in the apartment. Close to the food store and patisserie. Great walking neighborhood surrounded by historic monuments.
The owners spent lots of time giving us all the information we asked for and what they recommended we see. Don't miss the Botanical gardens. Grandkids went to the catacombs, glad they went don't need to go again.
We highly recommend this apartment and we would always stay again should we return to Palermo.
we liked everything

This apartment is special - believe the photos.
Owners met us upon arrival, gave us the keys, assisted parking, showed us around the apartment and gave us some tips.
Apartment is quite large, very well stocked and very comfortable for us, a family of 5.
The location is excellent - right on the rim of the old city center, so it is quiet during night, while an easy walking distance from all attractions.
As bonus, if you walk on direction opposite to city center, you can find plenty of local restaurants and shops that are a notch above the "tourist traps" that dot the center itself.

please be aware. the photos will not do such a magnificent property justice. the apartment is truly breathtaking and I was genuinely stunned at first sight

Location in the New City was very convenient; near many restaurants and cafés. The apartment (on two levels) is spacious and quiet. It is nicely decorated with antiques, and very atmospheric. The bed is comfortable and there is a washing machine, which was very helpful. There is a cute outside terrace for morning coffee. The host gave us a bottle of wine and a small gift to welcome us. There are so many wonderful things to see in Palermo; it was great to spend a few days there.
The plumbing and kitchen facilities could be upgraded a bit; but everything worked just fine.

Location and Claudio was a great host. Place is a bit old, museum like, apartment but that was expected.
Renovations in the building and a bit of difficult access to the apartment.

Excellent location in the heart of Palermo, the bus and train stations were nearby and it was easy to walk into the main centre. Although we arrived quite late, the hosts met us and were very friendly. Beautiful little apartment, on first entering it was a real "wow" moment!
The apartment is on the first floor and the lift was not working. This wasn't a problem to us but might be something for others to bear in mind.

The host is very polite and supported us during the hole stay in Palermo. The appartment is very cosy and charming. The locatkon is very good and all place of interest are accessable on foot.

Coffee machine too complicated for English. We made filter. They left a lovely pair of cakes.
Property is a bit too dark and overlooked. The hosts were very nice. The bathroom was best. The place was very large.

Host was very responsive and kind. Apartment is located in very nice neighborhood, historic, nicely equipped. Host also gave as bottle of Sicilian wine as nice welcome gift.
Houses in Southern Italy is very rarely properly equipped for winter conditions therefore the place was bit chilly. But good blanket compensates it well :)

A beautiful appartment in the old centre of Palermo, you don’t need your car to enjoy the city. At 400 m there’s a parking lot to stall your car around €12/day.

Loved this house!! Next to the original fresco on the ceiling(I think from the 19th century) all the furniture and deco in the house were beautiful and added nice ambiance to this historical house. We only used the master room but would be a really cheap stay if you are 4-6ppl. The host was very friendly and let us check out at 2pm!! Was a shame we only got to spend one night. Would definitely recommend
