Wonderful comfortable stay with everything we needed. Love the quirky and historic nature of the building and exploring the grounds. Easy self-check in and very comfortable bed.

I loved the quirkiness of the room (I stayed in the ‘Vault’). The room has been thoughtfully and tastefully decorated. It was refreshing to stay at a property that offered free Netflix, Prime and iplayer amongst others on the TV. I liked everything about this property and hope to stay again in the future.
There was nothing that I didn’t like but I have several observations. It was lovely to have 6 Nespresso type pods in the room - a machine to accompany them would have been useful though! ☺️ the ‘Vault’ worked well for me but if you are attending an event and have clothes to hang there is no wardrobe - just four coat hooks tucked in a corner. I was unsure how to open the closed gates to my parking area. I called the supplied mobile number which went to ansaphone - left a message but received no reply. Luckily managed to figure it out myself eventually.

Location was great and the property was beautiful.
We didnt have hot water on our first night/following morning and I was told that it hadnt been turned on, disappointing when they knew we were arriving days previous. On arrival the gate for us to park outside our room was locked and no one was answering the helpline number. I was allowed to take a shower in the main house on the morning of when we had no hot water but the same thing happened there and this should have been checked before making me walk across the grounds and through the building in my dressing gown. Overall beautiful property but very much a self-catering facility, no staff really around and theres no where on site to get evening drinks or food. Our room also had a broken towel rail and when maintenance came to fix the heating or "turn it on" this was just left unattended to.

The location & grounds were lovely, as were all the staff.
I changed rooms, at the suggestion of the staff, to a larger room.
Everyone was very attentive to both myself & my dog.
The shower set up in The Vault, water splashes outside the shower tray
Everything else was excellent

Pretty grounds, really helpful staff
As our room had stone walls you did notice a lot of dust and the shower made a mess of the bathroom due to no doors but overall really nice room and lovely area

Amazingly decorated, clean, and comfortable accommodations. We stayed comfortably as a group of six. The setting is lovely, and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils.
This isn't a "negative" but two bathrooms and one bedroom are only accessible via ladder-stairs, so make sure that this works for your needs.

Uniquely decorated room, amazing free-standing bath, quiet location, beautiful grounds, friendly and helpful owner.
This is not a complaint but it would have been extra special to have had some wine glasses and bigger mugs for tea and coffee in the morning.

The grounds are spectacular! plus the gorgeous alpacas and animals (a lovely surprise!) we’re delightful! The lady of the manor and the hospitality staff went above and beyond to make our stay a lovely one. We had a minor issue which was resolved swiftly and they couldn’t do enough for us. Our dog was made so welcome and a fuss was made of her - she absolutely LOVED it!
Apartments are luxury and high quality - like something out of a brochure! will 100% be returning :)

loved Gileston manor estate. The decor in the coach house was nice. they have made the most of the space available.
The stairs to two of the bathrooms very very steep. kitchen could be bigger with a better oven perhaps. Nice location apart from power plant in very close proximity.

A really lovely location, large clean rooms, lots of parking and great hosts. 30 min away from Cardiff and we would love to come back again and spend more time. Hosts were super friendly and accommodating.

It is a lovely little cottage which has been nicely renovated. The furniture is very good quality and it was very clean and the kitchen equipped with everything you needed.
We stayed in The Apple Store and in order to get to the bathroom upstairs you have to climb a challenging narrow staircase. If you stay a couple of nights is alright any longer might have been a bit uncomfortable.
