Beautiful, peaceful place to stay.

All the food we had was amazing - delicious and plentiful. Mohamed and his team were great hosts, very caring and kind. The property has an amazing view over the valley, in a very authentic collection of local houses (with lots of farmyard animals strolling around nearby!). It's a 35 min walk from Imlil centre, only a very short 5-10 min drive. The rooms were basic but clean, and with nice decoration. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly and would strongly recommend!

Exceptional

Location is just excellent, in a little village with goats, cats and chickens running around. Local people being very friendly. Incredible views to the mountains from the terrace and rooms. Very big, comfortable beds. But The highlight of the place is Mohamed who is simply excellent host, extremely friendly, always there for you. Mohamed is also excellent cook(best goat tagine in Morocco)! We will be back!

Superb

Great views from the top of the valley. Quiet peaceful location. Breakfast on the terrace. Meals available on-site. My host was able to recommend a great guide to summit Toubkal. There are other walks you can do from the accommodation with or without guide.

A nice out-of-the-way gem with kind people and good food.

Kind staff, good room, great breakfast, quiet, let me wash my clothes using the hotel machine.

There was only one shower for the entire property, no en-suite. Cost of the evening meal was not stated upfront. Communication was a bit difficult. Riad was a 30 minute walk from taxi stop. Hard to find.

The Dar Atlas Charme is located in a Berber village a few km uphill from Imlil with everything that comes with a village of farmers and that is quite lovely. It is hard to find though. The room had a beautiful view, it was spacious and the beds were really good and comfortable. Breakfast was good, instant coffee and warm milk and water so you could "brew" it yourself and as much as you want. Boiled egg, enough bread, traditional pancakesm the nut cream and jam ... Its a little far from Imlil to just go for shopping or some food. And so you kind of depend on the owner. I chose to have dinner at the hotel which was OK without being very spectacular and maybe not the cheapest option. Taken together. Very good in view of the prize. So i absolutely recommend it. However my suggestion would be to fix financial details in time ... there was a creepy situation in the end, when we had to discuss prices which sort of left an bad taste. Also he sort of insisted that I was to submit a review with "10" as overall rating, Despite this my stay was awesome and the owner, Abdu is a nice guy and so is his family. There is nothing tgat would keep me from recommending the place to anyone who wants to spend time a bit off the beaten tracks

I would urge anyone flying to Marrakech to hire we a car or get a tour to IMLIL and to stay at the DAR ATLAS CHARME when you do so. DRIVING IS EASY. Far far easier than driving in London, Paris, Rome or any other EU city or large town. camels crossing the road are rare. yes people use their horn but that for safety to ensure you’ve seen tgem. ABDU and RASHIKA welcome my e you to their home with charm and warmth. staying at their Dar is an experience you will never forget. the views are breathtaking. The way of life spiritual. they cannot do enough for you and are happy to tell you all about life in the Berber villages. You will not be disappointed and time in the high Atlas will leave you with a memory that will last forever.

Genuinely there is nothing I didn’t like about DAR Atlas CHARME. visiting Imlil and the high Atlas provide a glimpse into a way of life that is utterly charming. the scenery is captivating. you feel better about life when you touch the life of others.

Amazing views over imlil and the valley from the rooftop (10 minutes from imlil), host really helped to organize the trek to toubkal, even when we arrived late, no problem to leave luggage there during the trek.

A scam!

Terrasse view

As soon as we got to the location, we had to hike down to the Riad. We would have appreciated a heads up on the description. Plus, it’s not in Imlil if you decide to go there, be aware that Taxis will take you only to the Imlil station. You have to pay extra to get to the Douar where Dar Atlas Charme is. There was no soap in the bathroom. Only one towel in the bathroom. No hot water. Since it’s very cold, we wanted to keep the room warm. We were told to not keep the heater on for more than 20 min. At night, we were left with one light blanket so we had to turn the heater on. We got a message at 10:30PM on our cellphone to turn it off. Our friend who was staying alone in his room slept with his heater on and kept his phone charging. In the morning, the heater was off and the phone was unplugged. They came into his room.

Its very nice calm place to spend sometimes, to regenerate self energy. And its good place to get some inspiration about postponed projects .the locals are very humble and nice people . Bottom line the place is a piece of paradise . The location is full of spots to take pics, contain two waterfulls of flowing water coming from the upper mountain of Toubkal, walnuts trees, and clean air. The hostel was cosey and warm, very friendly hosts. The food was organic and very delicious. The bed extremly comfortable. Drinking moroccan tea from that balcony was a jackpot win .and if you wanna stars gaze at night there is upper terace .
