Located in Duluth. We have a beautifully renovated three bedroom home with all new furniture, carpeting and refinished hardwood floors. It is decorated in earth tones to add to the relaxing setting that the local area brings. Two of the bedrooms have queen sized beds and the third has a bunk bed - double bed on the bottom and a single on the top. The pictures that adorn the walls are watercolor prints of scenes from the Duluth area painted by a local artist. The kitchen is stocked with all the appliances and utensils you will need to feel right at home, including a pizza oven. The dining room table seats 8, plus the breakfast counter seats two more. There is a washer and dryer for your convenience. To really warm up after a day on the ski hill, there is a sauna that seats 3-4 comfortably. For those with a little more energy, a stationary bike and elliptical are available for use. There is a gas grill ready and waiting for your choice of entree. The 50 inch TV and DVDs are great! WIFI is provided as well.

Wonderful host. Helpful, responsive and made the stay easy. Great location so close to the ski hill we came back for lunch every day.

Nancy was a great host, gave us a quick orientation of the house. Nice to be away from the core city - easy in-out and close to where we needed to be (Spirit Mountain/West Duluth). Definitely a neighborhood in varying stages, but every neighbor we encountered was friendly and zero noise or security concerns. Everything worked great, big kitchen, comfortable beds. Super fun Christmas decorations including a lit tree and themed pillows & bed linens! Looks well equipped for small children too. Accessibility may be a concern for some folks but to be expected in that architecture/age of home. Sauna was delightful after long day of standing in the cold! Would recommend/stay there again.

The house was adorable and well decorated. Never have I had a host actually greet you at the house, but definitely was nice! Nancy was so helpful and showed us the important features in the home. It fit our family of 5 perfectly and they loved it! Close to the zoo and other kid friendly activities. Definitely will look to this location again in the future!

A must do is the Gooseberry waterfall!! We traveled 5 1/2 hours to get to Duluth and once we saw the waterfall it was all worthit!! Also took a hike to the tower sorry cant remember the name... and if you like history the Glensheen Mansion is a must see. We had a late lunch at The Silos on their outdoor patio. Excelent service and the food was amazing. Nancy was a super helpful host and was very nice and the home was very nice!! Would go back again!!

We had a great stay in Duluth at this property, too bad the weather didn't cooperate. House was very clean and well kept and we thought it was a good price. Convenient for what we needed (access to DECC for UMD graduation.) We would stay again!

The location was perfect for skiing at Spirit Mountain. The furnishings were comfortable and kitchen spacious and well stocked with utensils and dishes. I was very impressed with how comfortable the beds were and the linens are really nice; not someone’s hand me downs like you see in some rentals. Perfect size for our family of 5 plus the grandparents. Yes, there is only one bathroom, but we didn’t find that to be an issue for a weekend stay and it’s good sized to allow multiple people access at the same time and well stocked. Child friendly. One thing to note is that if you have mobility concerns in your party the stairs are a bit steep as it’s an older house and the bathroom and all the bedrooms are upstairs. The stairs to the basement are very steep and would be very challenging very anyone with knee/hip issues or the very young. The good thing is you can have a very comfortable stay without using the basement, but that is where the sauna is. The pottery and paint is also in the basement and that was a big hit with my kids (even the teenagers). Very nice touch!

For an older home it was very cozy and in great condition. The owner had even decorated the home for Christmas which was a nice touch. Couch looks nice but has seen better days. Everything else was excellent. Owner was very accommodating.

The property was just as listed! The home was wonderfully kept up, clean, and comfortable! The owner was fantastic to be in touch with and quick to respond with questions. We used this home to visit our daughter for parent weekend at UMD and it was a great place to stay to get away from the hustle and bustle of campus!

Great owner, amazing beds and great bathroom with so many extra amenities to use while we stayed there for a disc golf event. Her meeting us when we arrived was different from most rentals. Hands on approach by her was unique and welcomed.
