It is within easy walking distance of the sea front and town centre.
The flat is very nicely presented. The kitchen is nicer than mine at home!!! (Love the toaster!!)
The host is available to call if there are any problems (there weren't).
The beds are comfy.
Nice and quiet.
Lovely shower.
Tea, coffee and milk provided.
Everything in excellent working condition (nice big TV if you're staying in in the evenings)
Excellent wifi signal.
The host has thought of everything and where possible, put that in place. However, the flat is not suitable for people with mobility issues as it is up several flights of stairs.

The biggest advantage is the town it's located in.
We were welcomed by a neighbour next door quite offensively asking about our nationality. My wife didn't feel very safe. We understand it is not the landlord's fault but it spoiled our stay slightly.

Had everything we needed
Nothing

Very handy for shops and town centre. The flat was very clean and welcoming.
Nothing!

Loved the location very close to centre with added bonus of a Lidl store almost on the doorstep.access to ferry terminal excellent and thoroughly enjoyed the tours on offer.Would happily recommend the flat ,and I would most definitely return
3.7
Easy to locate property and lots of space
We had issues with the carbon monoxide detector as batteries were dead so was beeping all night as needed replaced. Tried to contacting both contact numbers listed and did not get any response (could see both messages were read as Whatsapp and no calls answered). Was only 11pm, but no response the next day either. Disappointing that contacts for property listed as night time ones did nothing to assist and we had to deal with a beeping noise all night

It was close to where we wanted to be. Kitchen was well equipped. The heating was good. The place was warm. Bedroom was nice.
The fireplace should have been boxed up properly or made to look better if you don’t want it boxed up. Bathroom isn’t the nicest either. Windows were disgustingly dirty- you could barely see out of them.

Kitchen and bathroom bodged.
3.7
handy location, washing machine especially useful as on a touring trip
outside and communal areas of building very tired
3.7
comfortable and details like coffee and chocolate
the doble bed was noisy and the neighbors

Location is very close to Oban city center and the waterfront, a short walk down a (busy) street. The unit is spacious and on the top floor of the building. We appreciated having free street parking immediately in front. The unit had all the amenities we needed, including a clothes dryer, which is very rare (and helpful on a damp, rainy day).
Not in a picturesque part of town and overlooks a petrol station and a building supply yard. The building and flat are pretty run-down. While the kitchen and bathroom appear to have been recently remodeled, the rest of the flat needs attention. The place smells musty. The floor is in such poor shape that it's almost a tripping hazard; instead of dealing with it, a carpet has been put down to hide it. Walls and ceilings have simply been painted white rather than repaired. A few minimal attempts have been made to decorate the flat, but larger investments need to be made into refurbishing it.

Very clean.Close to town centre. Well equipped.
Needs tlc. A bit shabby. Better mattresses and bedding. Things like bed settee instead of bunk beds in livingroom, coat of paint new bathroom accessories.Fix floorboard

A fairly basic but well located flat in Oban. Good communication with hosts. Complimentary tea, coffee and milk was provided as well as a few Tunnocks Tea Cakes which was appreciated. Some of the fixtures are a little dated and worn but I do think this flat represents value for money when you factor in the positives like free parking and location.
It's in an older block of flats so sound proofing isn't perfect. We could hear the residents in the next door living room in the evening. This didn't bother us but may trouble others.

Close to the town centre, private, good kitchen facilities
Bed matresses were uncomfortable

cost. welcome. comms.
bit tatty but fine for the cost

Shower very spacious, water hot and great water flow. Nice modern kitchen and bathroom .Nicely decorated bedroom with comfortable bed .
Warm flat .Central location,
Kitchen is well stocked with a good oven and microwave.
Flat was very quiet with nice neighbour .
Flat was warm .
The owner send a message with his mobile number so we could contact him with any issues.
Minor stuff like providing cafetiere in kitchen for real coffee and a safety mat for the shower and instructions on how to put on the heating. The flat was warm so we had no need to use the heating .
A freshly laundered mattress protector on bed and washable pillow protectors on pillows would be good additions.

It was a nice flat with everything that we needed for a short stay. Would come back if visiting Oban again. Location is really handy with all superstores within 5 min walk.

I loved that it had a washer AND dryer! It was clean and comfortable.
The floors felt uneven in places, like the floorboards were broken but covered with carpet.

I liked the gentleman I dealt with, he was really friendly. It appears though that he wasn't the owner but had to deal with everything.
The sheet on double bed had marks on it. Settees were worn with smell on cushions & really uncomfortable, something was very wrong with floorboards, thought I was going to get my foot stuck if I stepped in the wrong place especially entering living room floor. I thought the best part was the bathroom until I discovered that the shower didn't work which was not good with 2 young kids, the plumber coming out on the afternoon before the morning I left was not much use to me. I took the kids swimming so they cld play & wash afterwards. If the accommodation was better I'd not have had to be out as much as I was, didn't want to use cooker either as not the best looking one so brought in carry out food for us & used paper plates. I paid £450 for 5 nights, so £90pn, that's an awful lot of money for someone on benefits & for what I got in return. I would have paid around the £210 mark for it for a weeks stay. I wld say that it's more for people working in the area short term than a place to holiday. I'm so sorry for saying this as the gentleman I've been dealing with was lovely. I expected more from the stay. I believe that a refund should be given as this was not what I expected or wld ever have booked if I'd known how bad it was.
Sorry again to person I was dealing with.

it was very clean no dust anywhere
it was a top floor flat, and i didn’t know that when I booked, and I had a problem with the stairs, as I’m disabled.

The apartment had been cleaned and was tidy, and there was a Lidl across the street and Tesco nearby for picking up any supplies. Don't expect a lift as it's not a hotel. There's free parking outside, great if you have your own vehicle, and almost always you can get a space to park. There's a secure front door entry system and the front door opens via keyfob. The apartment had clean kitchen appliances (kettle, toaster). There's an electric oven which needs to be switched on before use (we didn't use as we ate out during our stay). There's also some pots/pans, cutlery, dinnerware/plates/mugs, and basics such as tea, coffee and milk sachets. Finally, some advice if you stay here during the colder weather remember to make sure you turn the silver dial on the hive thermostat (on marble mantlepiece) and that the room/apartment is set at the temperature you'd like. Otherwise you'll end up in a temporary cold apartment, as I found out, lol.
The apartment itself is situated top right in a close which is a bit dingy and if your're on your own can be a bit intimidating walking up the stairs at night. Also, due to being a flat/apartment with no soundproof walls, you can hear conversations, the TV etc from downstairs, as well as any noise you make walking across the apartment etc being heard by the neighbours downstairs. The mattress was too soft - a firmer mattress would have been much better.

Really clean with everything you would need. Definitely recommend

Well equipped, has everything you need. Comfortable beds, great shower, laundry facilities. A really lovely flat and we can't wait to return.
Having to leave, we didn't want to go home 😞

There were washing and drying facilities which is very useful for walkers. Also the kitchen was decently equipped. Netflix on the smart tv was an unexpected bonus.
We arrived late after a long walk to find the boiler was not working so no heating or hot water the first night, which is not ideal for November. Rang next morning and the owner sent a plumber round within an hour which was an impressive response time.
The duvet quilts were too thin.

It had great facilities and was in such a good area of oban for being able to be out and about. It takes about 5 minutes from the flat to oban sea front which is brilliant.
There was nothing that we didn't like. The fear of losing the key maybe but that was a personal thing rather than a problem with the flat
3.7
Great Central location and nice flat inside.
Heating wasn't working.
3.7
the location and free parking, easy to find and access, had all the things we needed to settle in, tea coffee milk and a tea cake, shops within walking distance as well as the town centre about 5min walk away
the pillows and duvets and covers could be thicker and updated, could do with a coat rack
3.7
Keybox a bit difficult to open
