Sala del the e bar
Sporchissimo, mancanza di kit per bagno in bagno che per un hotel 4 stelle è il minimo.
Non vale 4 stelle .

It was very clean. The food was excellent. Gave us a take-away breakfast one morning when we had to leave early, which was a nice surprise.
We checked in on Monday, May 6. Upon check-in I requested a cab at 6:30am the next morning for 6 people. The young woman at reception made a note of it and said that the night shift would take care of it. She asked what time we wanted to eat breakfast. I told her that we would be leaving for a day excursion too early for breakfast on Tuesday but would like 8am breakfast on Wednesday (our check-out day). She was very nice and ordered us take-away breakfasts for the next day (Tuesday) and set us up for 8am breakfast on Wednesday.
The next morning we went downstairs about 6:15 to find out that there was no cab nor was one coming. When I inquired of the young man at the desk, he acted like he didn’t know anything about it. He was somewhat rude and told me I should have ordered one the night before. I told him that I had done that. He did try several cab companies but none had cabbies on duty. We had to walk to the ferry station and luckily just made our ferry. The reason I ordered a cab in the first place was because one of our friends had recently had knee replacement surgery and another will be having hip replacement surgery when we get home.
Wednesday morning we went down to breakfast at 8am only to be told that our time was at 9:30am. I understand that a large group had arrived and our time had to be changed BUT we had not been informed of this until we showed up at 8. Because our time to check out was delayed, we had to make some other arrangements for the morning

Excellent waterfront location, lovely staff and gorgeous food!
Only the toilet flush which didn’t work properly and the bathroom was a little small

Location - wonderful - beautiful views which carrry this hotel
Breakfast- Enjoyed bfast as room service due to being unwell - bfast was lovely and fresh and arrived quickly.
Hotel lacked overall atmosphere
No atmosphere in bar area/dining area/reception
Bar was unable to accept cash
Reception area poor unwelcoming
Unwelcoming staff overall in reception/ bar area and dining room
Hotel packed overall atmosphere - a welcoming smile and interaction with customers goes along way and this is what is lacking - customer interaction skill training would be a great benefit
Lift not working
Room noisy from staff accommodation area
Value for money very poor basic room for price No additional added touches
Everything extra In price for what was an above average price paid for accommodation (parking extra, WiFi extra, spa facilities extra)

Breakfast was severed with eggs that did not look normal and water dripping onto the plate. These were to be scrambled. Both myself and wife sent the eggs back to the kitchen, uneaten. Otherwise pleasant receptionist.
See above. Food needs beteer attention .

The receptionist was just lovely, organised a lovely table for dinner & a very nice room. And the room staff were amazing, help out with some extra needs. Thank you to all

Location superb. Breakfast great choice. Lounge area lovely. Rooms little small but comfy and clean. Bar staff helpful. Front desk staff helpful. Super views from lounges. Excellent stocked bar. Only complaint was that the dinner menu was limited. We had filled steak one night and Mmm very good. 3rd night I ordered shrimp skewers and they were chewy and whatever they cooked the mushrooms in gave them a bad taste
I sent them back and would have sent the shrimp skewers back except my 89year old was getting a bit embarrassed. Chefs fault I guess.
The menu in grill room , as above

Location and rooms were excellent if a bit old worldly. Staff member Abbey was terrific
It is expensive, beds were only ok

Conservatory area very comfy and has amazing views! Food great.
The coffee with breakfast was a bit like dishwater. Staff happily changed (twice 🥴).
Very small car park to accommodate capacity of hotel?! Had to park elsewhere which didn’t feel very secure.

The location of the hotel is perfect. I would never bore of the view over the bay. We used the spa facilities and loved the outdoor hot tub! The room was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. The food, both dinner and breakfast was fantastic, very high standard. What makes this hotel really stand out is the staff - professional, friendly, anticipating what you might need and nothing was too much trouble. Looking forward to staying again.
The room and bathroom were on the small side (classic double).

location is great. right on the esplanade.
typical but well renovated Victorian hotel. wasn’t an issue for us but relatively small rooms, no air conditioning, pool etc. Hotel was exceptionally busy with tour parties during our stay.

bathroom was small and poorly designed

View from the room was beautiful! Looking out into the bay.
Room size was small, but expected given the size of the hotel.

The Staff! There was a dog in the room 2 doors down that wouldn’t stop barking by 11pm! when I informed reception the next morning (dog still barking) was told why didn’t I go to reception! Err nobody there to which she shrugged her shoulders! ! then when I went to pay for breakfast while giving our room numbers and as she went to take payment luckily my Son’s Fiancé walked past and said I’ve just paid you that and got a very sheepish look!!! After a stay at your Sister hotel at the Glencoe Inn your staff could learn a lot from them!

great location , very dog friendly & staff very welcoming
lovely bar & conservatory lounge area with stunning views over they bay
bedrooms are recently refurbished and attractively decorated, very comfortable
our dog friendly room was quite a walk to get outside
we had breakfast in the bar area where the dog was allowed. staff were very nice but did forget we were there to take our food order.
charge for the dog at £20 per night seems excessive. any additional cleaning will only be done once.

Location is amazing; view is magnificent. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are lovely, shower was great.
Restaurant; booked table for dinner on Saturday which was not set up, meals were incorrect EVERY time, even breakfast on all 3 days. Breakfast is expensive for what it is. Menu is fancy but doesn’t live up to expectations. Waited almost an hour for drinks at the restaurant table.
Parking: on arrival, looked like there may be parking round the back of the hotel, how wrong were we! There isn’t, more to the point if you do try to go round the back, you’ll get stuck between the cars that are parked there (about 5 spaces) and the wall of the wee fountain. You have to reverse out which is extremely tight even for the best of drivers. Once you get into the hotel however, you’re informed of free parking available behind the church.

We were upgraded to a Junior Suite on arrival. Fantastic room! Also, had an amazing massage at the spa.would highly recommend.
Breakfast was good but the service could have been better in the morning. The first morning was fine but the second, we didn't even get butter with our toast and couldn't find anyone fo ask.
