super friendly staff, made to feel very welcome.

It was clean and the heaters were working. The kitchen was full of equipment.
There wasn`t shampoo or soap in the rooms. (I asked the manager and she told me they weren`t included)
There weren`t eggs in the kitchen and the manager said it wasn`t included although you can see eggs on the photos at the property.

The kitchen area was clean and extremely well stocked. We were free to help ourselves to food in our own time, which was very helpful for our family .
The family suite was comfortable and well appointed, plenty of space for us to stretch out and sleep comfortably.
Although we didn't see any staff, Gaina responded extremely quickly to any queries
.Location was very convenient for where we needed to be ; unfortunately we did not have time to explore the area as we were travelling further on the next day.
Would certainly return in order to explore the beautiful surroundings more fully another time.
Many thanks for a great stay!

Melin Tregib was amazing, so easy to find great communication with the owner. House is fabulous as was the room. Cleanliness through out was 100% and the housekeeper was lovely.
Definitely be coming back or to the The Perch at Bridgend.
Locals are fantastic too so friendly and helpful.
Not one thing!

Very generous and well fitted bedroom and bathroom, excellent breakfast, excellent location

We had a very peaceful and relaxing stay. It was very quiet and we had a really good nights sleep. Breakfast was self service in a lovely big kitchen dining room - quite basic but good (toast, cereal yogurt, croissants). We will definitely stay again next time we are visiting Llandeilo!
4.1
Great accommodation at a bargain cost. Super large bedroom and welcome continental breakfast.
4.1
Great location, comfy beds and nice rooms. Breakfast was really good!
No curtains, just blinds, but, having stayed in a few places, this seems to be a Wales thing rather than property specific.

Location was great for exploring the area and accessing Dinefwr castle. Very good sized room. Dogs welcomed. Good parking available. Any little problems that arose were addressed immediately. Relaxed atmosphere. Clean. Walking distance to pubs serving good food. Breakfast included.
Nothing of concern especially as the owner was available by phone and immediately addressed small issues.

Location was ideal for us visiting the National Botanic Gardens the next day. Linked family room was good. I liked having the washing up sink in the room too and the little hob would have been good had we known about it before hand (not in information)
It was expensive for us to pay for an extra room (£85) when my three girls could have shared a double room, but it was clear the family suite was available for 4 only. Also, a big bath towel as well as hand towel each person is nice, rather than two hand towels. I think it is a good idea to write a welcome sheet to put in the rooms explaining what facilities are available to guests and what not. We didn't know if we could use the kitchen facilities (oven, microwave) or not; although the breakfast was left on the table for self service as explained in the details, it did not include fresh fruit; we helped ourselves to yoghurt, milk and juice from the fridge but weren't sure if that is what we should have been doing or not as no instructions to do so; the glasses and cereal bowls had to be found by searching in the cupboards. There was no coffee maker and no fresh coffee. My daughter has allergies but not sure when/where I was able inform the attendant about that. Lastly a word about where to park would be reassuring.

Very nice stay just what was needed and very good continental breakfast

Good large homely shared social/breakfast room. Garden access with washing line. Safe cycle storage area. Self service arrangement in kitchen area with provisions for continental breakfast.
Basic bathroom. Basic recharging sockets. Access to bed only possible from one side. No bedside table or light,

The family suite was fantastic. Semi-rural with views and close to Llandeilo. Use of spacios shared kitchen downstairs so could save money.
Internet was completely down, so son couldn't do college work. We had to move after 1 night because of this. Not owners fault but wish we'd been alerted in advance. TVs weren't working either. Re. internet, this may have been a one off quirk as owner said whole village was affected. That's OK should you have own internet, but rural west/mid Wales can be patchy having once lived there.

Location
4.1
The location was handy for the town of Llandeilo. The room and bathroom were spacious.
We had the suite (Room 4) which had a strong, bad smell from the bathroom drains. Mattresses seemed a bit old and were not that comfortable. Breakfast was nothing special and you had to make it yourself from cereals and bread left out in the kitchen (there were no staff on site).

Convenient location on the edge of the Brecons. Nicely proportioned and presented room. Shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. Self serve continental breakfast for a quick getaway.
Duvet was too warm for me. Only blinds no curtains so mid-summer the room was quite light from about 4:30am. No option for a hot breakfast.

Lovely facilities in an amazing location. Beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Breakfast options were all laid out in the morning with full access to crockery, fridge, kettle and toaster. Plus tea or coffee available in the rooms also! Staff were busy keeping the facilities clean, mowing the lawns etc and were very accommodating by answering any quieres on message before hand :)

Location and the room

lovely traditional farmhouse feel, in an excellent location very close to Llandeilo, the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park. comfortable and well provisioned. excellent shower and nice bathroom.
slightly musty small as we entered the property for the first time. perhaps a previous doggy visitor? but not a major issue

Continental breakfast was great. DIY, in a large kitchen/lounge.
I was a little baffled by the accommodation arrangements (I didn't know which room I was in and there were signs of some rooms already occupied). All I had to go on was it was described as a room with a garden view. I took a guess and went for room number 2, but there was a risk I may have entered someone else's room! Maybe a note on arrival would have been useful?

Location was perfect. The host exceptionally accommodating and friendly.
The continental breakfast could have benefitted from some fruit.

we used this place as a stop off whilst on our way to west wales coast to meet friends. it was perfect for what we needed. we arrived quite late which wasn’t a problem and the property was easy to find and easy access. a great room and comfortable bed. we left quite early but had a nice coffee and some breakfast provided in the kitchen area.
the room was fairly cold but is expected of an old building and they had provided some heaters in the room as well. possibly a thicker duvet would have been good

Nothing! Everything was spot on

Perfectly happy with a continental breakfast. Comfortable bed. Beautiful place.
