The cottages easily accommodated our family group of five adults and three children. The beds were comfortable, and the well-appointed kitchen enabled us to cook meals. There were many thoughtful decorative details to boot.

My wife and I needed a place to stay for a short trip to Acadia. We didn't mind a short drive to the park and this place fit the bill. I would greatly suggest it.

We very much enjoyed our stay! Very small cottage, but perfectly sized for two people. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, and we were situated to go all over the island. We will definitely be back to Acadia!

I enjoy finding tiny house options for my vacation stays. This one fit the bill perfectly! Clean, cozy, and charming. Not to far from local attractions but far enough for quiet nights slumber.

My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights, both 19 years old, to visit Acadia National Park. The check-in process was very easy, and we got in an hour early which was great. I would definitely recommend having no more than 3 guests as it is a very tight squeeze, but it worked out since it was really just a place to sleep. I would also mention that the bathroom has a sliding door that doesn’t lock and leaves a gap. We encountered one issue regarding the oven during our stay, but the host was quick to respond and offered a solution. My only complaints would be the lack of hot water and the slow wifi. This property also has a very nice outdoor area to relax at after a long day of hiking. Overall a good stay for our purpose of coming.

Great little cottage, perfect for a couple couple to stay and hike and explore Acadia and MDI. Everything was as advertised, WiFi was a tad spotty but was a great experience overall!

Enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It’s location makes it quick and easy to access trails and sites in the western half of Acadia. I was really pleased with how well stocked the kitchen was and was easily able to make multiple different meals throughout our stay. The main bed was also really comfortable. Would book again if I ever came back to the area.

Great stay here. Friendly host and a cute little place to stay. It’s a close drive to all hikes and activities. The place itself is well maintained and nicely decorated. Perfect for a couple.
Only thing that I would change is the Wi-Fi. It isn’t necessary, but it would’ve been nice after a day of hiking to unwind with a better connection.

Our stay at the cottage was cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed the firepit and being able to grill out! One suggestion it would be nice to have a bundle of campfire wood. Would definitely recommend this cottage to others. Thanks for the memories! From Ohio

My two teenagers and I spent three days at Little Brook Cottage and loved it! Robbin has done an excellent job of making sure guests have everything they could possibly need and does an excellent job of communicating and responding to all questions you might have. The cottage is beautifully decorated and felt very clean. Should we ever be back in the area, I will definitely look into staying here again!

It was a pleasure staying at Robbin’s place. The place is cozy and has a beautiful backyard with a grill and fire pit. The place has all the kitchen utensils and grilling equipment. I would say the one thing to keep in mind is stay here with someone you are close and comfortable with. The bathroom is very close to bed and leaves a small opening when closed.
We enjoyed the location which is walkable distance (5 mins) to an ice cream shop and a convenience store/gas station.
We encountered a few small issues and Robbin resolved them so quickly. I would recommend staying here and enjoying the amazing Maine nature.

Beautiful location and landscaping. The Little Brook Cottage is truly little for two people. There is not much room for baggage and the bed is small. But the property manager was friendly and helpful and the site is a good base for exploring Mt Desert Island.

Place is clean. It is very small but my husband and I have stayed in our 32 ft travel trailer for a week at a time so are used to small spaces. Plus it was basically just a place to sleep (however we had rain an entire day of our visit so had to spend a little more unplanned time there). A couple of things to note that I would caution for…it says free wifi but I was not able to connect and my husband said it was so slow on his phone and tablet the it wasn’t even worth trying to load a page. Also we ran out of hot water on the first day halfway through my husband’s shower. I only took about a 10 minute shower max and we ran out of hot water. The second day I showered the way I do in our travel trailer (quicker and turning off water while washing) and he waited about an hour and it was fine. Also there are signs not to use the tap water for drinking. They did however have a water cooler with a full 5 gallon water bottle. It is definitely small and if you are ok with the tight space, no internet, and quick showers, this place is a nice clean spot near Acadia and Bar Harbor for a good price. Also owner was very responsive and even though we didn’t get a chance to use it, there is an outdoor fire pit with seating.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The space was a bit on the tight side, but we managed just fine. We picked this quiet side location to be away from the craziness of Bar Harbor, and it worked out well.

My husband and I did a short trip to Acadia with our dog before busy season. We had a great time. The property was perfect for the two of us. It was very quiet and peaceful. The bed was also very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

It is exactly as pictured and in a great location for exploring the area. I would definitely recommend this for a couple looking to get away for a little while.

I learned my lesson about staying in a property advertised at $125 per night. After all the fees were added on, it was over$600 for 2 nights. We were asked to empty our garbage, we washed our dishes, and we had to take our dog off property to take care of business. Back to hotels for me.

This cottage was in the perfect location for us to visit all of Acadia, Bar Harbor, Bass Harbor lighthouse and Cadillac Mtn. The cottage is so lovely. It is decorated in an almost French cottage type of decor. An added bonus is the location which is very close to Thurston's and their food was divine! If you continue down Tremont Rd you can find a relatively secluded place to watch the sunset with benches. (Great place to take a glass of wine and watch the lobster boats come in also.)
I would highly recommend this cottage for couples looking for a quiet cottage with awesome decor to relax in. The host was friendly and so helpful.

Very cute cozy cottage. Just big enough for my husband and I. Great fire pit outside and close to area site-seeing.
Only recommendation is a different seating area inside.

Great location on the quiet side of the island. Close to several good restaurants and the Bass Harbor lighthouse sunrise is nearby too. . Nice outdoor space is also a plus! Highly recommend for 2 people-well equipped and very clean.
