Very nice cabin. Proximity to family was perfect. John and Charlotte were very nice hosts. Only suggestion is that they not advertise internet when there isn’t any. Best regards, Joy & Bill Grant

We really enjoyed the cabin, it had everything we needed. The view from the front porch of the cabin is breathtaking. Stinson lake was warm and very clean. We had fun jumping off the dock and using the paddleboards. We had several delicious meals at nearby restaurants. This area has a lot to offer. Hopefully we will get to return next summer!

Sparse accommodations, but overall a nice place to use as a base for adventuring in this area.

We had a nice relaxing stay, the owners were very friendly and inviting. Next time we may have to book all 3 units so we can have our kids and their spouses come. Dog friendly too.

The property setting and lake view is spectacular. We have no problem staying in a "rustic" setting. We do have a problem when rustic is an excuse for unfinished and not clean. Electrical was the first issue with open switch boxes and missing light bulbs. Poor ground maintains and a dirty shower curtain. The lid for the pots and pans had grease still on it. We left a day early and never looked back. Also, no beach existed. If you are looking for a lake setting this place is perfect as long as you can put up with sub par accommodations.

View was amazing, however the cottage and surroundings could use some maintenance and a lot of TLC.

What an incredibly beautiful location! This cozy cabin was just perfect! Hosts were gracious and helpful! I'll be back...again and again!

Clean, comfortable lodging. Comfortable beds, some outlet covers missing, good place to crash at the end of the day. Did not use the lake across the street but very much enjoyed the foliage and view. A bit out of the way requiring extra driving to other NH sites. Good valu.

Out of the way location with a great view of the lake and surrounding mountains.

We had the best experience here! John and Charlotte are lovely, very welcoming, and made us feel right at home! It was clean, and exactly as pictured. There are a bunch of awesome shared amenities, the best of which is definitely the lake! It's gorgeous and we were so happy! Highly recommend. We'll be back!

The cottage was a lovely place to get away from the heat ( no air conditioning needed) and spend time in nature, enjoying the canoe, kayaks and pontoon ride courtesy of our hosts. If you like simple and easy this is a great place to land

Lakehouse retreat
Beautiful location with lake views. Very peaceful and relaxing area. Host was friendly and accommodating. Paddle boats and kayaks were available for use. Location was hard to find at first and service is non existent in this area so be prepared! Come prepared to enjoy the wilderness and stock up on food and groceries before your trip! Overall we enjoyed our stay in this charming classic cabin.

Beautiful Lake
The lake is beautiful. It is crystal clear, great for swimming and floating, child friendly, and there were plenty of shared kayaks, paddle boats, and other water toys to keep everyone occupied. The property owner was funny and welcoming. The cabin is clean and comfortable. We will be returning next year. I definitely recommend.

Little Cabin beautiful view
The little cabin was adorable, and the view is awesome. We enjoyed our stay there. Very quiet and peaceful even during bike week. Would have been nice to have a TV on the rainy day but u still can't hold it against the place. Owners were very nice.

Everything you could possibly want!
This property is a gem, but the best kept secret are the owners and extended family. We felt so comfortable and welcome the entire stay. The cabin was well equipped and we loved that we were I included just like family. There is no need to leave the property while there as the amenities are out of this world! Paddleboats, kayaks, canoe and row boat are at your disposal. The owners even gave us a special ride on their pontoon boat. We already booked for next year for the 4ty of July weekend!

Beautiful vacation
Quiet and beautiful landscape. Mr Callahan is very nice, welcoming and professional, gives you a proper tour and let you enjoy your time around the place as you please. 15 min away from college town Plymouth and plenty of hiking trails and lake activities to do. Definetely coming back one day

Pristine lake in White Mt Forest
The cabin was cozy and far from rustic. Comfortable bedroom, fully equipped kitchen and living area with a big dining table and some comfortable armchairs, cute sunroom. We set the roll away in the sunroom, it had a pretty thick mattress. No bugs. I liked the big shelving for storage in the closets and pantry. It is a property with a few rental units and a shared common area nicely set up with several seating areas, screen houses, grills, a fire pit, chairs. The lakefront is large with a walkout beach for swimming and several kayaks, a canoe and peddle boats. People are doing different things so there’s plenty of room to enjoy. The lake when we were there was so quiet most days you could hear a pin drop. It ramped up a bit on Friday night but nothing like the more touristy lakes. Stunning views of Stinson Mountain over the lake. The area is one of the most pristine nature areas anywhere with hiking, swimming, boating, tubing, fishing, etc. there are grocery stores, charming ice cream shops, picturesque old town centers, antiques, within a short drive. We loved our stay here. The only tiny complaint we had was, as others have said, the windows in the sunroom. The view is absolutely breathtaking but it’s hard to see out those windows.

Beautiful lake, accommodations underwhelming
The location of the cabins is beautiful and the scenery, pristine nature, and swimmable lake were all highlights of the stay. However, I had to send multiple messages and eventually reach out to the property website to get a response about check-in. The hosts did accommodate a late check-in which was welcome but the mattresses were old and uncomfortable, the floors unswept, cobwebs in the windows, and general uncleanliness. The smoke detector went off repeatedly in the kitchen when only cooking eggs, and there wasn't even cooking oil provided to facilitate cooking. The property has huge potential but is not being cared for in a manner that I would recommend others paying for at the moment.

Rustic is the right word!
This location is indeed remote. If you are looking to go out to dinner or find "entertainment" of any kind, prepare for a 45 to 60 minute drive. The property and cabin are adequate. Some simple maintenance like cutting the grass, neatening up the outside shared spaces and covering exposed wires in the cabin would go a long way in making a better overall impression. Linens and kitchen items are provided, though certainly not luxurious. Everything was a bit of a dish-mash. Skylights and windows needed cleaning -- lots of spider webs in the skylights and the front windows for the view of the lake were old and cloudy. The property owners were very personable and use of water toys was available. They even offered to take us on a boat tour of the lake. The lake itself is the winner for this property. Stinson Lake is beautiful, clean and enjoyable to float on.

Outdated, very little privacy
The owners shared their racist political views with us, unnecessarily. Wires sticking out of walls. No soap, no coffee, zero basics for renter's use. Strongly not-recommended

Picture Perfect
The cabin was welcoming and cozy, right on a beautiful lake, surrounded by a stunning mountain view. It could not have been a more perfect weekend. Wonderful hospitality, attractions within a reasonable distance. We will absolutely return. Miss it already!
