Eagle’s roost was everything we were looking for and more when it comes to a ski trip getaway in Colorado. The location was perfect, 15 minutes from the slopes, 5 minutes from shopping and good food! The cabin was clean and exactly as pictured. The host was extremely communicative with any questions we had and was so helpful! We all fit comfortably and had the best time!

Location was perfect for doing lots in the area…sleigh ride to a dinner/show, snowmobiling, tubing, downtown Breckenridge and Frisco. The house was beautiful and has lots of extras provided. Sauna and hot tub were enjoyed tremendously! Lots of snow….but not too much…could still get around. Lots of room and heated floors were a bonus! Stores and restaurants close by but still felt secluded! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We had an amazing week at the Eagle’s Roost! This was our second timing staying here and we loved it both time! The house is beautiful, centrally located to all the main ski mountains, and has great amenities! Sabine was very easy to get in touch with along the way as well

Eagles Roost was the perfect spot for our family vacation. The cabin was amazing and the location was ideal. All of the amenities were as advertised. We spent a lot of time by the fire, playing pool, sledding behind the house (after a good snow) and cooking. The kitchen and pantry were stocked with everything we needed and we felt good about leaving whatever cooking supplies we had leftover for the next family to use.

We escaped the Houston heat for a month and Eagles Roost exceeded all my expectations! (And expectations were high)
The place is a amazing! We created so many beautiful memories with friends and family as guests came in and out. Summit County offers so many activities and Eagles Roost is the perfect place to relax after a day of enjoying the gorgeous outdoors. We dined outside in the mornings and evenings, taking in the spectacular views. The backyard is lovely, perfect for outdoor games, and s’mores after dark around the fire pit was great for kids and adults. Some people enjoyed the sauna, others the hot tub. My guests and I felt extremely spoiled by all the amnesties. I can’t say enough about this amazing retreat!!!
I would return in a heartbeat. My heart hiurts a little since leaving.
Also, Sabine responded to all my questions quickly, all our needs were met!

The house was amazing! The architectural features, comfort and exterior views were all outstanding. The house had everything that we needed to cook everyday during our visit, so there was no need to go anywhere else. It was also great to have the hot tub and sauna on site after skiing at Copper and Breckenridge. My only critique is that the shower in the master suite was inoperable during our entire stay, reportedly due to a plumbing mishap. As a result, we had to share the first floor shower each day with other family members. We did not learn this until we checked in and found a note from the owners. They said that they were sorry but there was nothing that they could do. If I were the owner, I would have offered to comp the cleaning fee or provide some other credit for our stay. Nevertheless, we had a great visit.

Eagles Roost was the best "bnb" I've stayed in. Property owners were very responsive, helpful, and thoughtful. Our group absolutely loved the home. Plenty of room and amenities, beautiful views, in a quiet area only minutes from food and shopping options. Highly recommend and will hopefully be returning in the future!

Private cabin in Silverthorne
Stayed at this cabin with my two boys. Even though it is right in the middle of a neighborhood, the trees and elevation of the property put all of the neighboring properties out of your sight. Once you enter the cabin, you almost feel like you are staying out of town. The cabin is extremely well built, orderly and clean. The kitchen had everything that we needed. Bathrooms and bedrooms were very nicely done. It was as comfortable as being at home. We really liked how the kitchen, couch area, pool table and dining room were close. We have stayed in other homes where the areas were too spread out, so it was nice to have everything close enough where we could always see each other and have conversations. The owner was very responsive, and always immediately replied to all of my texts. The neighbor (Frank) came over and introduced himself after our first day. At the time I was suffering from altitude sickness, and Frank was a great help. He provided some remedies, and gave me a nightly phone call to check on my health. Because I was traveling alone with my kids, my health became a bit of a concern. But thanks to Frank I was better in no time! He is a wonderful guy, and I look forward to seeing him again next year (YES, we will be going back).

Great ski trip with family and friends.
We spent the month of February staying at Eagles Roost while skiing Keystone, Breck, and Vail.
The place is completely wonderful, its hard to know where to begin.
Location convenient to everything.
Great mountains views out of every window.
Well appointed and well stocked.
Very comfortable furniture and beds.
Quite refreshing hot tub and sauna.
Sabine and Fred made communication easy. The check in/out process was simple and smooth.

Beautiful property in a great location within minutes to many ski resorts. Loved the 3 levels allowing our family to each have their own level. Perfectly stocked kitchen that met all our needs. I highly recommend, this place will always hold a special memory for us and our family.

Vacation of a lifetime!
This cabin was absolutely AWESOME! There was so much to do while staying here we really never needed to leave. The kids had fun playing in the game room while the adults had fun hanging out by the fire.
We stayed at a lot of “bnb’s” and this one was the most stocked house we have ever seen. It had everything we needed and more. The hosts went above and beyond with all their little extra touches that just enhanced our Colorado visit.
The location was perfect! We were close to everything, and Frank the neighbor (and retired physician) popped over to check and see if we needed anything or if he could recommend local places.
We highly recommend this cabin and we will definitely be back!

Another great stay
This was our second time staying at Eagles Roost, and we will be back. Sabine and Fred were so welcoming and easy to communicate with prior to, during, and after our stay. Very clean, lots of kitchen supplies for various cooking needs, and the PitBoss Grill on the deck made it feel like home when we didn't go out. Neighbor Frank provided us with great ideas for hikes! Great location, easy to get all around Summit County. We will be back - next time for ski season.

Almost better than home
The house is beautiful! Pictures just can’t do it justice. Snow capped mountain views, plenty of space for our 2 families (8 people total), super clean and so much to do on the property. Every little space in the house has personality and convenience. It has a cabin feel but with high-end luxury amenities. We spent days comparing houses around the area, looking at Breckenridge and further out. The location is perfect. Feels completely secluded (you see no neighbors) yet it’s a short drive (or walk) to stores, gas, food and I-70. Highly recommend this one-of-a-kind vrbo to anyone who doesn’t want to compromise anything on their list.

As soon as we entered ..we were extremely happy. This home is beautiful with Mountain View’s throughout. The kitchen was well stocked with all you could need for any meal. Beds were comfy and the space was great fir a family with two couples and 4 kids. Id Definetly return for a duplicate ski week next year. All mountains were within 30 minutes away.

Spectacular Log Home
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Fred and Sabine were very responsive to our questions and the property was in immaculate condition ready for our arrival. I've stayed at many VRBO properties and this property was by far the best. Not only was it clean and well appointed, the furnishings are high end and the location ideal. The family room which encompasses the kitchen and dining room, has everything your group needs to gather after a day of skiing or exploring, including a large TV, great sound system with music on demand and a pool table.

Perfect Holiday Get-Away
This was a perfect holiday get-away for our extended family - my husband and I, our son, and daughter's family of four. The home is absolutely gorgeous. Decorated for the holidays, it is beyond magical. Most important to us was that it was SO comfortable and relaxing. My husband and I stayed in the upstairs master bedroom where it was a joy to awake every morning to the sun rising over the mountains and the little town of Silverthorne. We found the kitchen to meet our every need and enjoyed home cooked meals every day. The home was very close to several ski and snowboard mountains as well as to the Silverthorne Outlet stores but most of our time was spent bonding with children, playing with grandchildren, cooking, eating, enjoying happy hours in the hot tub and late night billiards competitions. Thank you Fred and Sabine for making this special place available to us!!

Really though. Our trip back to Switzerland was canceled due to travel restrictions earlier this year. We have been trying to sort out a getaway for months but nothing seemed to fit. Last week we were presented with an opportunity to sneak off last minute. Properties in the area seemed limited but this one stood out right away. Our dates were available so i messaged for confirmation (VRBO app seemed to be having some issues) the hosts messaged me right straight away and helped me get the app sorted out. We left the next morning and arrived that evening to this absolutely gorgeous home. Everything was in top order. Entry directions were simple, items were labeled, there wasn't a thing amiss. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of bedding. Not an item left to want in the kitchen, fully stocked with utensils, dishes, cookware, spices, coffee, tea, etc.. The pool table, hot tub and sauna were such a treat to help relax after a long days hike. The Eagles nest is a very unique home with an amazing amount of charm. Whomever designed and decorated this home is truly an artist. The craftsmanship is second to none. We were a party of 4 but this home could comfortably hold plenty more. The layout perfect with multiple sitting areas to relax. It had great wifi and televisions anywhere a person would ever need one. The master suite was a vacation in itself. We set up our telescope on the master suite deck to get some great shots of the moon and stars that shine so bright in this alpine retreat. We want to thank our hosts for being so helpful and accommodating, and sharing this beautiful property with us. We hope to return!

Our family of four and close family friends of three stayed here and had an amazing time. The home is beautiful and we felt right at home. The location is perfect and just a short drive to many fun activities. The home itself is so great, you could just stay here all day enjoying the house and views without venturing out. This property was perfect. It was clean, pretty, and the views were amazing. On our second night, we were walking back from a stroll around the neighborhood and found a moose grazing in the yard behind the house! We also saw several foxes. It was amazing.
