This property is beautifully maintained. Location is excellent with beautiful beach front views. We will definitely be visiting again.

It was everything we expected it to be. The condo was nice and a great location. We loved our stay. If I was to complain about anything, it would be the dryer not working. We couldn't close the door. We were there for just a few days so it wasn'ta real issue. Fyi, I had already read about these complaints. I did not contact the host because it really wasn't a big deal to us. Otherwise everything was clean and comfortable.

The host was great from the beginning to the end. All communication was timely and all questions answered anytime I emailed prior to the stay. The host sent instructions for check in which made things very smooth. The condo was exactly as described with beautiful views of the water. The location is great with access to the beach and bay for additional activities.

The pictures do NOT do this place justice. Our jaws were on the floor when we walked in. I knew from previous reviews and communication with the owner that they are in the process of updating the condo, but honestly the dryer was the only think that was tricky, and the owner responded right away with help. The master suite was a DREAM! The bed was very comfortable and we found extra blankets and comforters in the closet. Other reviews complained about the second bedroom bed not even being sleepable, but I had 2 teens who passed out every night with no problem. We did have a sleeper couch if needed, but the boys said the bed was great. The ONLY small, teeny tiny bummer was the door from the second bedroom to the patio didn’t open. But the owner had it marked very clear and professional not to open the door. The boys didn’t mind as the entire living room opened to the patio. We had board games and books already in the condo, which was perfect on those days we spent too much time in the sun. This resort was perfect for us bringing teens to and giving them some freedom while my husband and I got to relax. The owner was so quick to respond and made sure our stay was going well. We can’t wait to come back next year and see what updates they’ve made to place. We’ve definitely found our yearly vacation spot. THANK YOU SO MUCH for this amazing stay.

Great Condo, as advertised. The only reasons I marked down on cleanliness were the lack of dish soap, some leftover possessions from previous tenants in the master bath under the sink that should have been found and disposed of before we entered, and the Dryer (which needs to be replaced and was very hard to get working). But with all that being said, if I travel back to Pensacola Beach, I would definitely rent the condo again.

We loved this location. Breathtaking views of both the Gulf and Santa Rosa Sound. Right across the street from the beach, and the main pool was directly on the Sound. Portofino had great amenities: a pool at each tower, indoor and outdoor pools at the Activity Center, gym, stores, restaurant, lovely grounds. Comfortable beds. Full kitchen.

While Portifino is a great resort, this unit is terrible. The guest bedroom bed felt like we were sleeping on bricks along with a very old comforter. The lights in the guest bedroom wouldn't work. The guest sink wouldn't drain properly which was disgusting. The dryer took 3 cycles to dry towels, it took two of us to slide open the door in the living room. Repair people had to come fix a leak on the master bathroom toilet, which we couldn't use all day. The oven took twice the amount of time to bake cookies. Do not stay in this unit. The owner said they consider would a partial refund but never followed through.

If you are on the fence about booking this property, don't be! This was by far the most fabulous place to stay. The resort is well kept and the staff (right down to maintenance and custodial) were all so incredibly friendly! We're from the Midwest and we value that highly. The condo itself was perfect for our needs. And that view! Where to even begin. Sunrises, sunsets, the gorgeous aqua water lapping on the white sand beach... We even watched the dolphins swimming at sunrise our last morning. Vincent is a most helpful and gracious host. The condo was spotlessly clean and smelled wonderful (also something I value highly). The master bedroom has a brand new king mattress that was wonderful to sleep on. Overall, my family loved our stay here. Infinity stars!

We had a great stay. The only hiccup was the fire alarm at 3:30 am, when we had to vacate the property without using the elevator from the 20th floor carrying 2 babies. Other then that, it was a very relaxing stay. Easy check in and check out.

Vincent, the owner, is super attentive, helpful and accommodating. The view from his 20th floor condo is the best I’ve seen and we’ve vacationed at the Portofino for the last 10 summers! Best place to vacation hands down.

Bathrooms need bleaching, painting and fixing of broken, uneven bath tiles. Rotten wood and mold in master Bath. Appliances like dryer make horrible noise when running, several kitchen appliances don’t work and hair drier in bath doesn’t work. Safe also doesn’t work. Not to mention the sliding back door that didn’t lock. When spoke to owner he said to put a stick in it.
After about 10 minutes he realized how unsafe that was and said he would send someone to fix the next day.
This place needs major cleaning, remodeling and update of old dirty stained paint on walls and furniture.
Definitely a “rental” unit not maintained by property but by vacant owner in different state.

From the check in process to leaving the property it was a first class experience. The unit was clean, spacious and met all of our needs. The overall property is great, from the pools to the restaurant. Every meal we ate was fantastic! We have a family of 6 and it was plenty of room for us with easy access to the beach. We will be booking this unit again!

The best view of the entire island. Love our condo and stay. The 20th floor is the way to go!!! I love Tower 1 and now love floor 20. I can not wait until next year! Also in the 6 years that we have been coming here, this is the first year we took advantage of the free trolley. The way to go when you do not want to deal with limited parking in town.
Also Dolphin Cruise offered through the condo was fantastic and we even caught a rare glimpse of a manatee. Planning on a blues cruise next year!!

The 20th floor views from this unit are incredible. The host was very communicative and even went out of his way to get the cleaning crew in quickly so we could check-in much earlier (12 PM). Obviously this wasn't a guarantee, but he was able to work some magic.
The cleanliness of the unit was good. We had everything we needed utensil wise in the kitchen. As some other reviews stated, this unit needs a lot of updating. The furniture in the living room is small, so we didn't use the living space much to socialize with our friends staying with us. The bed in the master is an older spring mattress so any movement by one person will disturb the other. The owner did confirm he is in the process of sprucing up the place. I think this unit will be unmatched once it is.

We had a great time celebrating my daughter’s birthday. Two adults and her friends, tweenagers.
Clean and basic with great views and amenities. Host could not be better, and I would stay here again just for his prompt responses and service.
Portofino is always enjoyable. Beautiful pools and obstacle course for kids allows for a ton of fun! Come and enjoy!

I was not impressed at all. For the price I paid for this, it was not the quality I was looking for. I went by the reviews and apparently, it's not something I can trust on this site. The furniture was OLD and stained. The mattress was sunken in the middle. I had to call the Maintenace to TAPE up the remote control so the TV would work. I could go on but you get the point. ZERO stars. I’ve stay at lot of condos. I've used VRBO multiple times. Never an issue. But The Portofino Resort is the best!!! Beautiful place. I highly recommend the resort!!

I came for a few days of r&r and family time. It was a beautiful week. The water was gorgeous and the sun was shining. The view from this unit is unimagineable. I got what I came for and I hated having to leave. I would recommend this vacation location.
