Very Secluded but close to town property. This was a great place to stay as our hub for visiting this side of the island.

We only stayed for two nights while we explored the big island. Wish we could have stayed longer, location right on the beach, for snorkeling, and privacy. Secure parking, and wonderful balcony with a view. Hosts were great.

Incredibly maintained property. Roomy space and comfortable bed. Great suggestions from the host for restaurants and things to do. We suggest ranger tours at Volcano National Park.

The screened in lanai was beautiful and fun to people watch, and mostly local families used this beach, so it was quiet at night to listen to the frog chorus. The place is exquisitely decorated and furnished. So comfortable! And close to town, restaurants and the airport.

We adored our stay in Hilo! The room was very updated and spacious, spectacular view, total privacy, even helpful local suggestions for what to do and where to eat (if you wanted them). Walking right to the beach takes 2 minutes (can see from balcony) and they have some beautiful flowers and plants right on property to enjoy as well; including a sweet cat that hangs out downstairs and will be happy to greet you and request a pet if you're up for it. Even saw a HUGE sea turtle one morning from the rocks.
Hilo itself was spectacular. Great central location to head out to all the major destinations. You can drive the across the whole island in about 1.5 hours so you have the whole island to play with. Can't recommend this stay enough!

I appreciate how clean this place is. I slept so well, the bed is so comfortable and really beautiful. The property is secluded with views of the ocean. It overlooks a park where families gather on the weekends. Here on a Monday it’s mostly empty. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Oceanfront Orchid Room! It is located across the street from a kid friendly ocean side park and a short drive from downtown Hilo. The host was very responsive in communication, met us when we arrived and settled us into our rooms. The suite was very clean, nicely appointed and well organized. We would definitely stay there again when we visit Hilo.

We spent three nights on the Hilo side of the island and loved our stay at the Hilo Beach House. The location overlooking the park and ocean was lovely. The room was immaculate. We enjoyed exploring Hilo and vicinity, as well as a day trip to Volcano. We will choose this accommodation again when returning to the Big Island.

This is an awesome location, 5 minutes from town, and right next to the best beach parks. Parking is great as well. The unit is super clean, comfortable and updated. Would definitely stay here again. The hosts are very friendly and helpful as well. Perfect spot in Hilo

My wife and I greatly enjoyed the unique, beautiful Inn. The room overlooks the beach and tidal pool area, so while it also overlooks the public parking lot it is quite relaxing. It is 7-10 minutes from downtown Hilo shops and restaurants, and a good starting point for day trips to Volcanoes National Park as well as destinations north and south of town. The owner lives on the 3rd floor and was very responsive and hospitable. It was clear a great deal of thought went into the Inn design and materials, starting with the ground level floor being used for different types of classes that also serves as tsunami proofing. The room floors, showers, bathroom bowl, small frig, lanai overhang & screening, and automatic lights in the hallways were other examples of great design and materials. Accessing the Inn can be a bit quirky at first, but easy thereafter. We found the pricing to be comparable to other viable rental and hotel options. Overall we were very pleased with our stay.

Overall really enjoyed this very clean stay and beautiful location. Much nicer than any of the local Hilo hotels I’ve stayed at. Very near to the beach but a bit disappointed that we could not sleep with the windows open to hear the waves because they were drowned out by the frogs.

What a beautiful place to stay. Large, updated room with a fabulous screened balcony, wonderful set up, all the amenities, top of the line products and bedding. The ocean was just a few steps away. Wonderful retreat.

Hello Hilo!
Quiet and relaxing, this property introduced us to the natural beauty of Hawaii. Located in a residential area, away from the bustling resorts, our screened lanai overlooked a community park that opened onto a protected cove and then the Pacific. The unit was large with a mini kitchen that met our every need. The real bonus was Renee, the property manager. She met our every challenge in a nearly post-COVID travel world and made us comfortable and happy. She made our stay the great success it was.
