We absolutely loved our stay at “Shell We Dance”! The house had everything we needed and we loved the pool. Everything was communicated clearly and efficiently. We will definitely stay here again!

This home could not have a better location to the beautiful beach. It’s only about 1 1/2 blocks. The pool is brand new and beautiful. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the home but it is very small and things are older and worn. Ceilings are so low that our tall family members had to avoid the ceiling fans. The kitchen is original. Beds are comfortable and the house is clean. Overall this is a great location.

The location was great - close enough to the action but far enough to be nice and quiet at night. The place if great for those with dogs too - completely fenced in and super friendly for my pack!

The house was perfectly placed on Annamarie Island. It was a mix of classic Florida and updated modern accommodations. The pool was perfect and the ability to ride bikes and utilize Beach toys was great!

We love this clean and lovely home with the pool and within minutes from the beach or pier and so much more. Goose is always so nice when we call upon arrival and the owners have also been very kind to share their unique home. This is our 2nd time staying here and I sure hope we can return someday soon. Our stay at “Shell We Dance” was perfect for us! Great salt water pool, comfortable cozy living area, close to the beach! We were even able to do Thanksgiving dinner! We were so happy we made this choice!

We had a wonderful time at this property. It was an easy walk to Bean Point or Rod and Reel pier. The private pool was very nice and all the extra items made for a great stay. We would definitely stay again. Everything is nearby. The house has all the basics that are needed.

The house was super clean and cozy, and it's a quick walk to the beach and pier. The pool area was perfect, and Don and Goose were really friendly and always quick to help with our questions.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely rancher on AMI. My husband and I stayed with our two young children (1yr and 4yr old). The location was PERFECT for us! We could swim in the pool while the baby safely napped inside and when he woke up we would take the kids in the wagon to the beach. We enjoyed the sunset every night on the beach and would come back for a swim to end the night. Our favorite restaurants are all less than a mile away. You can walk or easily drive and park the car. The home was very clean, had extra safety locks on doors and windows, plenty of towels etc. We loved the convenience of having a washer/dryer. The pool setup is wonderful. The shallow ledge was perfect for the kids and sunbathing. The garage had beach chairs, a wagon, sand toys etc. Well thought out home and accommodating to small children. We opened the barn doors and had the whole house open. It was nice to have options on the floor plan for more or less privacy. We really enjoyed our stay.

We love the location of this quaint bungalow. Easy walks to Bean Point for sunsets! The private pool was so nice and all the extra things provided made our beach time so easy! We loved the bicycles. There was even a grill right out by the pool for afternoon burgers. We love AMI and can’t wait to go back!

Great location, pool, and beach access! Pool perfect for small children. Property manager was quick to reply (especially when we found black mold in the fridge door). However, the house itself needs some work. The main, very old shower’s tile was clearly painted and is peeling. There are paint drips, peeling paint, and dings in nearly every room. The kitchen has missing tiles on the wall by the stove and cabinets don’t close properly/look sad and old. The second bathroom has an air conditioning unit by the toilet, making it hard to sit to use the restroom. It also looks gross inside, so we’d always turn it down/off when we bathed the children. There was no plug for the bath, so we had to shove a washcloth in. The listing should be more clear that the one bedroom is impossible to close off, especially because the track “wall” doesn’t close easily. We were disappointed in the overall state of the home given the high reviews and price.

Perfect cottage for our family of 5. The home was clean and provided every need for our stay. Everything was as the listing described. The home is just a short walk away from the Rod and Reel Pier and the north end of the beach to include Bean Point. Mostly original 50’s era home with a new, exceptional pool to relax and cool off in after a hot walk back from the beach. The owners were very prompt with replying to communication. You can not go wrong with this home in such a quiet, relaxed part of the island.

This property was perfectly located, clean and simply wonderful for my wife and I. When we weren’t out and about on the island, we spent a lot of time outside in the pool or back yard. The property manager was friendly and extremely helpful. Highly recommend This vrbo.

Just spent one night for a stay over and the home is quaint, clean and well kept. Pool in backyard is excellent. Location is close to best beach on AMI.

We all loved the pool and outdoor area. The house is a little quirky and the kitchen could use a little sprucing up as could the lanai. Great location !!

The enclosed patio and pool were very nice. The bathrooms were also nice. However the kitchen needs help. Several dishes and cups were dirty, opening cabinets and doors a struggle. The refrigerator shelves have to be removed to accommodate gallon size water etc, since there is no dishwasher you would think a drying rack or mat would be provided but there wasn't either. No plastic wrap, sandwich bags or foil. These are basic kitchen essentials. The lighting in living room was awful. One of the lamps was broken. Opening the blind in living room required your entire weight to be used to raise it. The rugs are filthy and tripping hazards. They too need to be replaced. The dresser drawers in master bedroom get jammed almost causing the television to fall off of it. Turning on the television in living room was impossible so we gave up on that tv. The beach umbrella and tent were damaged and need to be replaced. The beach cart wheels don't turn so dragging the useless cart in the sand was ridiculous. Not to mention the closest beach access was for fishing. Driving to get to the beach since decent beach access a mile away and having useless beach cart and trying to find parking was another headache. For the cost of these accommodations, we were disappointed.

Just what we needed to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary! Beach access was close by and the pool was a great way to relax. Great place to stay!

Absolutely loved this home. Easy walk to the beach. Took full advantage of the awesome pool. House was well stocked. Very clean. I miss being there already.

A very comfortable stay equipped with everything we needed. The fenced in yard added a level of security and safety for my kids. The location of this house couldn't be better! We loved every minute of our stay!

The house and backyard are lovely and well cared for by the owners. The path to the beach is just 6 houses away!

This was our first vacation as a family of 3! We didn’t know what to expect with a one year old- but Shell We Dance had us covered! From a nice jogger stroller to beach toys! We enjoyed nightly sunset walks on the beach, which was maybe a 2 minute walk from the house. Pine Ave, Rod n Reel pier, the city pier and park were all within walking distance. We rented a golf cart but barely used it! The house was very clean. I felt comfortable with our baby exploring. We felt very safe which is always at the top of my list. —the back of the house is on a small, dead end alley so it was very private. Goose and Dan, the property managers, were amazing. We had trouble getting in when we first arrived and they were there within 2 minutes! As mentioned- the kitchen is small. But we cooked/prepared many meals there without an issue. It’s a very well equipped kitchen. You won’t regret booking this place!

We had a great time and definitely would come back. A quick walk to beach access and Bean Pointe, or to Rod and Reel Pier. Having the bikes available was so nice for quick trips to the many restaurants and shops within a mile or so of the house. The house has all the basics that we needed and was perfect for my wife and I.

We stayed over the Christmas Break with our family. We enjoyed our stay. Clean, close to beach, bikes to ride, warm pool…. Perfect for us.

What a charming place!!! It was perfect.We had a wonderful time together. Walking to the Ocean, riding the trolly into town ,sun bathing by the pool, and playing games on the closed in porch. I hope to visit again.

The pool was lovely. Thank you for allowing dogs. This was our first time in Anna Maria and it was beautiful. Kitchen was too small for preparing meals for our group of 6. Could you add a carrot peeler and a pitcher? Thanks

My 3 young-adult kids and I stayed for 4 nights and loved it. The house is very cute and quirky. Basic but comfy and very well stocked including beach towels, beach chairs, a beach wagon, coolers, corn hole, and even bikes! I loved the old Florida feel to the house and the neighborhood. And the pool is awesome!

Spent the weekend in the house with my girlfriend and another couple who are close friends and couldn’t have been happier with the house. It was the perfect size for 2 couples and the location was incredible. Really enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and the heated pool. Hope to be back again soon.
