We had a wonderful stay at Garden Oasis, a lovely holiday apartment next to Margate beach. The location was perfect, as it was close to shops, train station and the beach. The apartment was spacious and bright, with a large garden where we enjoyed the BBQ facilities. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, from basics like salt, pepper, oil, plates, cutlery and utensils, to extras like cornflakes, coffee, tea, sugar and milk. We also appreciated the comfortable bed, which was not too soft for us, unlike some other reviewers mentioned. We would definitely recommend Garden Oasis to anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient getaway in Margate.
There were also some minor issues that could be improved. The floorboards and bed in the upstairs bedroom were a bit creaky, which could be annoying for light sleepers. The garden furniture had some cobwebs on them, which made them look dusty and neglected. The shower also had a slow drainage, so we had to be careful not to flood the bathroom when using it on full blast. These were not deal-breakers for us, and overall the apartment was great👍

Very clear instructions very simple to enter property.
Shower above head but the shower was good, but didnt want to get hair wet everyday, so was hard getting out of the way of the water.

This was our 2nd stay at Garden Oasis, it was just as good as last time. Perfect location for dog walks on the beach. Very pretty little flat. Would definitely recommend.
Only thing I would say is the property itself hasn't got much kerb appeal but once you're inside it's perfect.

Garden Oasis is a little gem, so very pretty with lovely furnishings and a very comfortable bed! The lovely garden made our pup very happy indeed, as did the beach. All the amenities are just a short walk into town.

Enjoyable few days here. Great value for money, perfect location opposite the beach with plenty of parking available. Fantastic hosts and cosy, clean, spacious, comfortable apartment. Fully equipped with everything you could possibly need and has a good size fully secure dog friendly garden. Nice added touch of bread, milk, eggs, cereal etc on arrival. Very relaxing and peaceful stay and would happily book to stay again.

Everything I needed for a base to explore Kent. clean and comfortable and right in the seafront. Parking was always easy too which as a solo traveler is important for safety.
The shower tray doesn’t drain quick enough, it almost overflows.

Brilliant stay at Garden Oasis with my wife and brother-in-law. The property was clean, well located, and had everything you could need for a visit - however long you want to stay for. I don’t think my wife wanted to leave! Friendly, helpful host too really ensured our time was comfortable. Thanks!

Such a lovely apartment, very relaxing place to be. Great touch with the food that was left wasn't expecting that. Everything you could need for a great stay. Location is amazing, so near the beach, yet is nice and quiet. Missing it already!

great location, well serviced by local Tesco Extra (3/4 minute walk) as well as a corner shop and several take-always.
Shirt 5 minute walk from Margate Train Station, and only 10 minutes walk from the main seaside and town of Margate.
Owner kept in touch and was very helpful.

The feel of the apartment was very chilled and comfortable. The beach was on the door step would be amazing in summer. The place was well equipped and we had everything we needed for a nice night away.

Comfortable flat, perfect for the area and a great location. The staff are super friendly and the communication is excellent.
A couple of little areas for improvement as mentioned in other reviews but we enjoyed it regardless.

Appreciated dog friendly accommodation, very clean, light & airy.
First night I slept in the main double bed. Couldn't imagine sharing it someone and I'm of slim to medium build. Bed was old & rigid. Needs upgrading to a decent size. Mattress far too soft. All feels old.
Sofa bed - slept on this the second night. Depends on the size of the two people. More for two children.
The stairs are very noisy everytime someone walks down them.

The location was very good, literally at the beach front so was easy to go for walks during sunrise and sunset. There was a Tesco down the road which allowed us to pick up any necessities and a variety of food shops further down. Hosts left some things for us for breakfast as an additional which was really nice. Tv had netflix too. Didn’t get to use the garden but during summer would have been perfect to sit outside and have the bbq on. The host left a book with extra tips (i.e wifi passwords etc) which was useful as it had everything we needed.
The drainage was very slow in the bathroom we had to wait 15/20 minutes after each person had used the sink or shower for the water to go down. Only other thing was that we found a lot of pet hair, understand it is a pet friendly apartment however we were covered in pet hair when sat on the sofa and even the bed.

This is a fantastic property, very clean with a lovely open plan kitchen / lounge with huge sliding doors opening onto the garden.
There is everything you need for cooking in the kitchen along with some lovely basic provisions.
The location is great, a few minutes walk from the train station and seconds from the beach.
We can’t wait to go back again as there was so much more to do!
For me personally, the bed was a bit too soft but I know that lots of people like a marshmallow bed.

Great location, right opposite the beach. Really nice apartment. The host left breakfast items for us which was a really nice touch.
Beds were not very comfy but not a serious issue.
