The view was good. The closeness to what is on offer at Shoal Bay was convenient

The mirrors hadn't been cleaned and had spots all over them. the dishes were dirty. 2 of the plates still had dried food on them and out of the 8 glasses, there was not one clean one amongst them. They all looked as though they had been washed in oily water. There was a lot of noise throughout the night with young people walking past on the last night there, yelling and swearing. The cafe below started banging around, moving out tables straight below us when it was still dark on 2 out of 3 mornings The double rubbish bin cabinet outside on the street was blowing open and shut all night. At the time I didn't know what it was but due to the wind, it had come open because it had obviously it hadn't been closed properly. Verandah was pretty unkept and needed a good clean and tidy. The BBQ was squashed into the corner and facing the wrong way to be used.

Location is the biggest draw card.

No covers on light fixtures, broken blind slats, loose front door , no instructions on how to use washing machine.

Location was great

* ants all over the floor and it seemed like it was not at all clean. Dust over furniture , cobwebs etc * no body wash or shampoo or any other toiletries were there * no sheets were laid on the bed, no pillow covers etc.they just wrapped in a bag and thats it. * bed mattress were super spring and had a backache after a nights sleep Absolutely not worth the money given the service provided .

Renovations going on in next unit was very noisy some days starting at 7.30 in morning . Spider webs and dust in unit

the location and property was good and i enjoyed my stay

Great location although noisy with shops underneath. tasteful decor

Need blockout curtains in main bedroom, no blanket for in between climate when you need just a light blanket, only older heavy doona. No hanging space in the main bedroom just a tall boy. Timber frame around bed/mattress annoying getting out of bed. Would prefer larger bed - i.e King

VERY GROTTY BUILDING - ENTRANCE VIA A BACK SET OF GREASY SLIPPERY DIRTY STEPS. HARD TO FIND ENTRANCE. PARKING POOR - COULDN'T FIND WHERE WE WERE SUPPOSED TO PARK POKEY FLAT WITH CLEANING EQUIPMENT BLOCKING OPENING TO WARDRODE - OTHER WARDROBE HAD OWNERS STUFF IN IT. NOISY ON WEEKEND EVENING - GROUPS DRINKING, SKATEBOARDING IN PLAZA BELOW - WAS QUITE FRIGHTENED. VERY LIGHT IN BEDROOM HAD TO STRING UP A TOWEL TO STOP LIGHT.

Indication of stairs needed to access the unit. Very hard for elderly parent to climb stairs as we were under the impression of a first floor unit. Collected keys from Winning Holidays Nelson Bay and was not given ANY instruction as to how we could access the building or where to dispose of rubbish. We waiting in the carpark for over an hour trying to contact the agent, finally managed to and went back and forth until agent came out. Very disappointed as we have been coming up for over 35 years and haven’t experienced poor customer service like this.
