Clean and comfortable stay, everything was as advertised

Ethan and Elizabeth didn’t miss a trick in making this cottage feel like our own. We drove up just as the sun set. Lake Pushaw is quiet, tranquil and everyone you meet waves hello as if they known you. The property is well-kept and everything is ready to use whether it was extra bedding or camping chairs, games or kayaks. They supplied everything - even steak seasoning for the grill. Having dinner that night facing the lake was perfect. Their info binder was clear and included ideas for trips or meals. Communication was great! Despite the rain, we enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Very quiet and met some neighbors and their dog who were very nice. The cottage was nicely decorated and it seems Ethan thought of everything. The beds were comfortable and the weather was seasonable so we didn’t need any heat or a/c. The lake was very quiet post Labor Day. Will have to come back with better weather to enjoy the lake more. Highly recommend.

The cottage is a wonderful place to get away and relax. The property is in a beautiful spot on Pushaw lake. The cottage itself is charming. It is an authentic Maine cabin but with all of the modern conveniences that we are used to. The owners stocked it with everything that we needed for our stay. The owner was very responsive and helpful. We would love to visit again sometime soon.

My husband and I, 2 kids, and 2 dogs had a blast spending a week here on the lake. Thank you so much for the lovely experience! The kids and pups especially loved swimming and kayaking every day and the view was just amazing! The few minor questions I had were answered immediately. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed 4 nights and fully enjoyed all the cottage, lake and area had to offer. Easy check in to a super clean well decorated and appointed older cottage. Enjoyed the clean and quiet lake with canoes and kayaks provided. Good size fridge with porch bar fridge making it handy to all. Kitchen is for 1-2 cooks only with a BBQ nearby. Clean bathroom with shower and washer / dryer. Not sure if the tv's worked as weather was perfect to hang outside on chairs and hammock. Would highly recommend for all reasons above plus host responded right away on 2 occasions to our questions.

Enjoyed our stay on Pushaw Lake! Cozy and relaxing! Didn’t see as much sun as we’d hope but totally made the best of it by exploring the beautiful region and all of it’s glory! Nature and good food and drinks reign in the region! Our pup loved it too-very dog friendly area!

This was such a peaceful stay. Everything you need was available and more. My family had the best time.

Owners thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and complete. The on the lake view is beautiful and relaxing. Biggest surprise was using the canoe to catch at least 15 small mouth bass. We're booking a full week next year!

My daughters and I loved it. I took my youngest to get a fishing license and she did catch 2 fish.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the lake. The setting was beautiful and the cabin was cozy. I didn’t know there was anywhere in the civilized world that was this quiet. Excellent wifi. The kayaks and canoe added a lot of fun, as did the gas grill for cookouts.

This place is great. Our third, but definitely not our last year here. Ethan is an incredible host. The cabin has the perfect mix of modern comfort and old school lake house. The fishing on Pushaw lake is great. There is always fun to be had in Old Town, Bangor, Orono and the surrounding towns. We love this place.

My family and I had a wonderful time staying on this cabin on Lake Pushaw! The cabin has everything you could need and more. We enjoyed fishing, boating and swimming in the beautiful lake. Sitting on the dock in the sun, napping in the hammock and eating s’mores around the fire at night was so relaxing!

We booked this camp as a fishing place where my son could catch a lot of fish, which he did! But we got so much more out of it! The camp was cute, quaint, extremely clean and the beds were comfortable. The amenities were second to none. It had everything you could possibly want, and if you forgot something, they had it! All we had to bring was our food and drinks! The views of the lake were breathtaking, especially the sunsets. My granddaughter loved the hammock and my son loved fishing off the dock. He caught some big ones! And our dog loved the swimming! It was so quiet and peaceful. We hope to be back next year! Thank you Ethan!

We spent three full days here and never left the property once except for going out in kayaks ans canoe. A little piece of heaven that we will be returning to.

We loved the vintage vibe along with all of the modern amenities. Very comfortable accommodations in a beautiful setting. We especially loved watching the Loons and other denizens of the lake from the front porch. Fishing wasn't bad either from the dock out front. Plenty to do in the area, but mostly we just enjoyed the ambience of being lakeside in Maine! (the dog loved it too!) Highly recomend!

There's the saying, "I'm so glad I did this" and it applies to our 8 night stay at the cottage. Plenty of options to enjoy your time sitting next to the water. We read our books, played cornhole, and ate smores at evening fires. Target and grocery stores are 25 minutes away if you need anything and a little farther into town for dinner options. We made most meals in the kitchen without problems. The kayaks are a great option to get out of the lake when the water is calm. Or, just go for a dip in the water to cool off. We shall return someday!

The owner of this cottage Ethan was absolutely amazing ! Our boat motor broke down and we had no way of fixing it and Ethan took his time to drive 45 mins to the cottage and totally fixed the motor by lending us his spare gas tank and gas hose if it wasn’t for him doing that our father and son fishing trip would have been a complete bust. We can’t thank you enough Ethan for doing that for us ! This cottage is such a great place and they have everything you would need to make your stay here a great experience , canoes, kayaks , all your cooking utensils , board games if you happen to have a rainy day , huge fire pit , picnic table , you name it and its there ! I give this property and the owner 5 stars all the way! Great Vacation!

We had a fabulous week with our two boys at the cottage. The lake is peaceful and quiet just the way we like it! We enjoyed kayaking as a family and although the water was chilly our boys still managed to get in a few times. The only thing that made it slightly challenging is the slope down to the water was very steep so not great for little kids, but we enjoyed it despite that! A wonderful little getaway from the business of everyday life!

The cabin was very clean and well taken care of. I couldn't believe how much was packed into that small cabin but we had everything one would need for the week.

This place was amazing and the owner of the property was great! If you are looking for a quiet little getaway in the area, I would definitely recommend this cabin :) Everything from check-in, to the games for my son that were available to us, the kayaks, etc...You definitely wont be disappointed!

This cottage has everything you need. Ethan is a great communicator and host. The view of the lake never gets tired! We had a relaxing weekend hanging around the fire pit, playing games and exploring the area. We had several conversations about what we would like to do the next time we stay here - a true testament to just how lovely our weekend on the lake was!

Cute and “homey” cottage on the lake. Beautiful views, especially at sunset. Lots of sleeping space. Great place to relax and get away from it all, yet close enough to shopping and day trips to surrounding areas. We enjoyed our time at the cottage.

Everything was outstanding. Cabin fully stocked, kids played in the water from sun up to sun down. Quiet location. Excellent communication with owner. Could not ask for anything more.

This was one of the best stays we have had. The house was very cute and homey and had everything we needed. Ethan was great to communicate with and the view of Pushaw lake was awesome. We had a great time using the canoes and kayaks that they have there. We will definitely stay here again.
